'Shame one woman and you might keep her down for a while, but teach women to shame each other and you'll never have to worry about controlling them again.' It's the patriarchy's strongest weapon.
The the tie breaking vote from Jon Ossoff, D-Georgia, was what kept that judge from being approved for a higher bench. I'm looking forward to seeing other Dem party members making this kind of vote. It's pretty hard to use a multiple rapist as your reason for opposing a politician's vote. This might be the start of a turning tide in the US. Small, but significant.
