I think that last point is the most important.

It needs to be made CRYSTAL CLEAR to GirlGuides that the outrage IS NOT about Monica Sulley/Taylor, the outrage is about the policy.

Monica Sulley/Taylor shouldn’t be in that position full stop. The social media, kink and overt aggressive posturing with a gun should ensure that…and I would apply that to a man or a woman in that position.

However the fact they are a trans identified male is a symptom of a dangerous policy that needs to change.

The risk is they think the outrage is about the individual and can therefore fix it by removing Monica Sulley/Taylor from their post without addressing the policy.

Absolutely right, Tom. No male should ever be allowed such a role at Girlguiding. This 'trans inclusion' policy is the perfect Trojan horse for predators and paedophiles. We KNOW men will build entire lives & careers around their ability to access victims, how on earth can Girlguiding be so naive?

And this is the last bastion of Things We Aren't Meant To Notice. That some of the men driving this 'bodily autonomy' thing for kids and this 'men in women's spaces' have their own motivations - motivations that are as old as the hills, but every generation seems to have to forget them and then be reminded. And every woman who reminds about them must be pushed down and accused of something or other to shut them up. This generation, it's 'transphobia'.

It's like safeguarding really doesn't matter. Contrary to everything we have learned from numerous cases of predatory men. As a teacher we have to do a session on safeguarding every single year, with encouragement to report even the most minor suspicions. There are huge red flags here yet the people raising the questions are the bad guys?

I think Girlguiding have made perfectly clear that their Stonewall cookies are far more important than the little girls in their care. Giving this creep his job back (I'm sure he was only suspended for show!) is a huge up yours to everyone trying to raise the alarm.

Yes, so many red flags. If Sulley was a biological woman who was publically posting images of herself holding a large rifle with another weapon strapped to her leg, and another in bondage gear, I would be concerned about her suitability to be girlguiding leader with everything that involves. That Sulley is a biological man doing this, is deeply disturbing. Ffs, he is visually portraying himself as a predator - posing with a gun, and a whip.

I wouldn't want this person in any kind of contact with my teenage daughter, let alone her being away from home whilst he assumed responsibility for her. It's unbelievable that the concern some parents are expressing is being passed on to the police. Those involved are both contemptuous and dangerous.

The organisation should be ashamed of itself for blatantly prioritising the desires of a sexual fetishist over the safety and privacy of girls and young women. Likewise everyone enforcing and facilitating this. They are malleable, arse kissing, dangerous fucking idiots. I hope parents respond to their authoritarian misogyny by removing their daughters, for explicit and undisguised lack of care and concern, and for expelling the leaders who drew attention to this abuse.

Their Stonewall woke cookies are clearly more important than the safety of 5 year old girls. They're a disgrace.

Yes, absolutely. Agree - it is CONTEMPT they are showing!

If Sulley was a woman holding a gun and dressing like that, I don't think it would be seen as acceptable or approriate. Trans = can do anything and can never be critisised. Even rape people. Problem is, the police are spinelss and/or brainwashd, especially the younger recruits who are mainly graduates who have swallowed all this gender bullshit during their university years. I have zero respect for them. They are a joke. Posing with the alphabet soup community (not LGB) for photos at every opportunity. Sickening enablers.

Expand full comment

Absolutely this. If someone is into BDSM in that way - well that's their choice (though I am utterly baffled by it), but DO NOT advertise it like this. If you do, whether male OR female, and you are looking after children, its a red flag.

Add then a male in a female only space doing it and its massive red flag and all those in the female only space who had authority to allow him in should be fired and banned from working with children ever again, as well as the male.

Yes, though we mustn't forget Gendered Inteliigence's key role in pushing indoctrinatory 'guidance', with far more than just Girl Guides. They've so far escaped the scrutiny Stonewall's begun getting, yet surely they deserve it, and going back years.

GI's site lists

'Our work in schools, colleges, universities and other educational settings...

Our work in the policy and media spheres, responding to consultations, requests for interviews and offering expert opinion.

Our work with organisations and professional individuals...

Training therapists and counsellors...'

The curtain is being pulled back on Stonewall's influence on orgs like Girl Guides, but Gendered Intelligence's influence and reach seem far less scrutinised.

criminally irresponsible. It is not just this one man. this is an organisation which has been fatally undermined

I am remembering how the NSPCC initially defended their employee (Rubber Fetish Wank Man), even accusing those of pointing out safeguarding implications of an employee parading his fetish online, of 'homophobia'. Also an organisation that is fatally undermined. They quietly let him go eventually, but their initial defence was borne of their own employees' focus on 'Diversity and Inclusion' above all else - above their client group; above safeguarding.

See also St Mungo's defence of allowing convicted domestic abuser Marc/Melissa Addis access to women in one of their hostels. Because they are a 'top LGBT employer' and the feelz of their staff and the signalling of their VIrtue matter more than the women in their care:

What I find facinating is that the main streaming of kink in liberal circles is having the opposite effect on the kids exposed to it than what these liberals want.

Conservatives want to minimise sexual activity amongst their young, but the policies they promote to achieve it, abstinence only sex ed, restricted access to even the tamest of pornographic material, ends with their kids being more likely to loose their virginity at a young age, more likely to have unwanted pregnancies or to catch STDs.

Liberals on the other hand are exposing their teens to ever more bizarre forms of sexual activity, without really noticing how central female degradation is to many kinks. With the result that lots young women from liberal households are completely loosing their desire to have sex in their 20's because all the men have been taught that their fetishes are perfectly natural and nothing to be ashamed of. Fetishes that they may never have developed where it not for their exposure to as teens in liberal sex ed classes...

What I don't understand is where people find the time to indulge in these activities while holding down a job, etc...

Perhaps they do their jobs badly, which is probably easier to get away with if they work for an employer who wants to suck up to Stonewall, etc. Or maybe they're poorly performing both as employees and dominatrixes. Yes exactly, because young women are being choked and having their hair pulled, being slapped, rough, painful sex as though it’s normal and it’s not and it’s not fucking pleasurable, but they don’t know how to say no fuck off. They may not even have experienced nice, thoughtful pleasurable sex or a partner putting their pleasure first. Fucking kink shaming, what about vanilla shaming! Bring back vanilla sex!

Expand full comment

Problem is that society has decided that sex without any actual intimacy is the default. No sense of mutual exploration with a healthy dose of care, love and wish to give pleasure to one's partner.

Remove the intimacy side, and we have selfish partners seeking the sexual version of extreme sports high. And as we know...biology is important here. The male of the species is stronger than the female....and as such the female gets the short straw and turned into a sex toy.

Absolutely right, Maggie. I think this entire movement has been overtaken by anti-feminist & misogynistic men who've found the perfect opportunity to roll back all the gains feminism has made. This is what grooming looks like. Girl Guiding has been expertly groomed into believing that any man who pretends he is a woman is harmless and acting with the best of intentions because, poor man, 'he has been through absolute hell in his life hiding who he really is, a woman trapped in a man's body'. Such a vulnerable person, eh? Yeah right! This is the public expression of men's sexual fetish and such men should be nowhere near children of either sex.

They've proved themselves to be irresponsible, untrustworthy and vindictive. They adopted an indefensible policy and threw dedicated women who represented the organisation under the bus. Their reward was a pat on the head from Stonewall, but something which must be a far bigger consideration in their minds, they succumbed to avoid the vicious bullying, and threats from TRA's and their kind and inclusive 'allies' - useful idiots and fellow misogynists.

When the reality of everything has become apparent, and written in bold letters, accompanied by images, first hand accounts and legal cases for those who've had their eyes tightly shut and their fingers in their ears for the past few years, I hope no one fogets the actions and decisions taken by the Girlguiding leadership.

It’s interesting how the forces of the law and group-think have been brought together to establish an ‘access all areas’ movement for men. It’s permeating right through society isn’t it? Law = “Get the Police if there are any troublesome critics of what we are doing” Group-think = ‘Be kind / any one who doesn’t comply with this is a transphobe”. The two prop each other up in perpetuity.

How on earth Social Justice Warriors aren’t up in arms about the coercive controlling tactics used by trans activists beats me. Ironically they’re part of it.

When political parties start spouting lines like “ No debate on this subject” and people are visited by the Police for voicing concerns / University lecturers are forced out of jobs / the press & public are steered and gagged etc then we are facing a very dangerous movement that has become about more than trans issues. Trans issues are actually being harmed by whatever this take-over is...

Of course Owen Jones et al will still deny there’s a problem. Best thing to do is keep our heads, steer round them and keep our eyes on the bigger picture, which in my view is a movement that is employing coercion & control on a huge scale to the detriment of the rights, freedoms and safety of others. Any group that says: “You don’t talk about this” should ring alarm bells.

Thankfully more people are seeing the bigger picture now, despite the “Hear no, See no, Speak no” blanket of silence activists are trying to throw over the debate. It’s like Thatcher trying to starve opponents of the oxygen of publicity. It won’t work.
