Finally, some thin justice served as one of the cruellest trans rights activists receives a one-month suspension from practicing. Harrop is part of a small group of always-online men who used trans rights activism as a cover to frighten and intimidate women they disliked. When I drew attention to it, he began to target me.
So I was proud to be among the witnesses who gave evidence against ‘Doctor Do Much Harm’, as I call him, although his punishment does not come close to fitting the crime. What he did to Caroline Farrow alone amounted to nothing less than psychological torture, and should be a matter for the police, not a medical council.
But of course, the police were happy to be used as his personal goon squad, a tactic also employed by David Paisley (who targeted Marion Millar by calling a Suffragette ribbon a ‘noose’) and Stephanie Hayden (who targeted me, Kate Scottow and others) when I shared this serious accusation of fraud with my Twitter followers).
Harrop too sent Norwich police around to my house when I tweeted a famous video of Posie Parker humiliating him in a Sky News interview.
Even though I later received the painful news that she had little understanding of the underlying issues, Katie Herzog covered the incident and, to her credit, caught him in a lie.
I was prepared for Harrop’s visit because Hayden had also called the police on me, which allowed a delighted Guardian to portray me as a bigot. Hayden and Harrop were associates and, as you’ll see in the Nutmeg post that follows, also worked together to torment Farrow.
I believe the police visits I received may have been some of the first, or perhaps just early drafts, of the infamous ‘non-crime hate incidents’ UK police suddenly decided—after training from Stonewall —were so important.
The homoeopathic level of justice delivered to Harrop might not be the end of the story. Documents from the trial were leaked, both to propagandist Ben Hunte and to an anonymous Twitter account. With any luck, Harrop may face another hearing for his behaviour in this hearing.
One can only hope that Harrop having his wings clipped will act as a message to the others—among them Paisley, Aiden Comerford, Tony/Stephen/’Stephanie’ Hayden, and Joss Prior—that the brief period of impunity they enjoyed might be coming to an end. Watch those accounts, follow and support their victims on Twitter, and do whatever you can to shine a bright spotlight on the abuse that comes so naturally to these inadequate, cruel, spite-filled men.
Trans ideology appears to have given its devotees licence to be their worst selves. There are no boundaries to how badly trans ideology devotees can behave - this particular admonition of Simon Harrop is an exception. For some reason, they are given a free pass to not keep their nastiness in check. We’ve seen this before in history.
I know it sounds lenient and that's what I thought at first, but I've been advised by people who have cause to know that suspension is a severe punishment. In terms of seriousness, its just below being struck off. It will be on his record permanently.
To set it in context, Harold Shipman (yes, that one) was caught misusing prescription drugs not long after he started practicing medicine in 1976.
He was reported to the GMC and didn't receive a suspension. In fact, he wasn't even struck off the medical register until AFTER his conviction as a serial killer.
