I think bottom surgery for TIMs is a bit of a red herring in the debate/discussion of toilets. Truly GC people would never advocate that someone should mutilate their body to conform to gender. All we ask us that they be honest about their biological sex and to respect women's single-sex spaces. If dressing/presenting in a stereotypically feminine way pleases them, they should be free to do so. And from what I can see they ARE free to do that. What they don't get to do is appropriate spaces set aside for women.
By making bottom surgery a deciding factor of who goes in which toilet, we play into their response about genital fetish, why do we want to look in their pants, do I have to show my genitals at the door, etc.
If TIMs feel unsafe using male toilets then they should be advocating for third spaces which could be gender neutral, or to make all public toilets self-contained, individual cubicles with floor to ceiling walls so no chance of upskirting no surreptitious filming. These people who advocate for inclusion seem to have zero consideration for safeguarding. Affirmation for them is paramount, safety for women and girls is way down the list, usually completely nonexistent.
