What a load of utter tosh. It's just word soup. What the eff is "erotic innocence"? Why is anyone listening to such a warped individual? If the Synedd can't understand it, it's because it's made-up horsecrap, not because it's clever. They should be challenging it and asking for plain language, not nodding along.

Who was it who said 'clear writing gives poor thinking nowhere to hide'?

'Posthumanism' is just another way to say 'transhumanism'. The ultimate goal is to reject the 'archaic' ‘limitations’ of the human body. It's the opposite of ethical humanism based on reason, dignity, science, and human potential. It’s depressingly diabolical. We are all just meat sacs, so let's make the most of it.

Jesus, there seems to be a language devoid of cogence or practical use. And they charge for the privilege of reading this sh!te. The pay wall is not big enough.

Horseshit.

You could cut and paste any text from this arseholery and drop it straight into Pseuds Corner. I'm glad I moved to London if this is how Wales is treating its next generation.

This inflated, bombastic, self-congratulatory pile of pseudo-academic gobbledegook reminds me very much of the spoof paper once sent in a brilliant sting operation to three hundred open-access academic journals and accepted by over half of them. Before I took early retirement from university, I spent some time refereeing research project proposals, and we actually had a vetting system based on the frequency with which ostensibly meaningful - but practically nonsensical - words and phrases appeared. I've actually seen worse than the steaming pile of regurgitated queerspeak that the Welsh professor presents. The most galling aspect of all is the total lack of self-awareness that these ivory tower groomers exhibit by way of this astoundingly arrogant tendency - again a pseudo-academic constant - to create hilarious, utterly self-referential (and thus meaningless) neologisms. You couldn't make it up, really. But then again you could - as the spoof paper shows. This would be absolutely side-splittingly funny if it weren't so very seriously dangerous, damaging and tragic.

I hate to think that you've seen worse!

This 'academic' drivel was funded by ESRC, a funding body whose policy espouses:

"Promoting EDI is an integral part of our vision to deliver new knowledge and an enriched, healthier, more sustainable and resilient society and culture, and to contribute to a prosperous economy."

Where's the Jester when you need him?

Kimberley of Public Child Protection Wales is onto them. She’s an expert in child safeguarding and utterly fearless. Well worth listening to her speeches. She’s rallying parents and they’re very p****d off

Absolute, incoherent gobbledygook ,just like Judith Butler's writings are reputed to be. Babies also play with ,and even suck , tlheir own toes so does that mean they have a foot fetish ? They don't know what genitals even are ,let alone be somehow " turned on " by them. Total garbage and a paediphile's dream. Hope Welsh parents fight hard against this child abuse nightmare !💔😭😈👎

This woman's spiel amounts to: "I work to enable men to have free access to children's sexed bodies and to exponentially increase their exploitation of female sexuality and reproductive capacity."

Alfred Kinsey’s “revolutionary” surveys of sexual activity may be a major – if not THE major – culprit here. He included data of timings for achieving orgasm for very young children. And it turned out that he was getting this info from fathers who he was encouraging to “experiment” on their children. If there’s one thing worse than a paedophile, it’s an alleged scientist nodding consent to a paedophile under the pretext of scientific investigation.

“decentres the human and re-centres matter” - “forget what human beings are, we’re all just dust, love has no age, let’s mingle”

Well, my blushing 9 year old betrothed Djamila and her parents will be very happy to hear that. 🙄

This whole scam relies on people looking at this gibberish and being cowed by its language and the author's credentials. It's obfuscation with a very particular (and nasty) aim: it leverages predjudices about mothers being silly over-reactive women by turning "child safeguarding" into "moral panic". Sensible people support the first but don't want to be scorned and laughed at for supporting the second. All of those articles are nothing but twisting language to cast sensible anti-paedo measures as prudish and over-reactive.

And there you have it: "being cowed." If all of us stopped ourselves from being cowed by scammers, the world would be at least a bit better. But I learned years ago that there is a goodly percentage of people who apparently don't mind being abused and cowed. I actually visited a real estate agent whose MO was being abusive and aggressive, and I guess it must have worked with some people. Catfishing apparently does.
