The transing of historical characters is one of my pet peeves. They apply their cult thinking to situations where women had to pretend to be male in order to achieve their goals and in a hilarious twist tell everyone else not to apply modern ways of thinking to the past. The fact they are once again forcing themselves into narratives where they do not belong is wholly offensive. They won't rest till everyone is trans and everyday is trans visibility day.
