How many women found themselves cheering along with Jane and her ‘twaddle that comes out of your mouth’ remark to Starmer? 🎉 What a total prat he is.

Thanks JL. We’re going to need the good news more than ever methinks.

I cheered along, but simultaneously the clip made me quite angry - I don't know if more followed on the issue on the same programme, but here Starmer was allowed by the excuse for journalism that is the BBC to trot out the 'traumatised trans people' line, and to avoid addressing the issues of sex-based power differences, predatory and fetishistic men, and womens' evidence-based anxieties.

If I hear that sanctimonious near-canonisation of 'trans people' once more, I think I'll puke.

Exactly! You hear it everywhere. It’s another mantra trotted out by brain dead sheep.

Also! I'm pissed off that Starmer also repeatedly got away with using the vile term 'biological women'. It's a tautology you wilful dickhead!, there is no other kind of woman!! Talk about trying to prepare us all for widespread body modification.

Even though the Biden administration may say that they oppose surgeries for minors, they’re still actively promoting these surgeries for minors on the HHS website: https://opa.hhs.gov/sites/default/files/2023-08/gender-affirming-care-young-people.pdf

People should definitely be cautious about believing this “reversal” as long as the Biden administration is refusing to act on it

It’s about as trustworthy as Starmer saying that he’s going to protect single sex spaces. He doesn’t know what sex is, so that statement falls at the first hurdle.

I don’t buy that the Biden administration has truly turned against transgender surgeries. They could be just lying for centrist votes or to make themselves look good in light of the WPATH/Levine revelations. If they still say this after the election, then I might believe them.

However, it’s not enough to just say they oppose surgeries, they also need to act on it since actions speak louder than words! They need to actually fire Levine, drops the charges against Haim and stops participating in court cases to overturn bans on gender affirming treatments. Otherwise their statement holds little meaning

My experience in Australia with Labor ( sorry Aussie spelling) is that they will say anything to get elected then follow their socialist agenda.

Thanks for the GNS, JL but this week it won’t help because tomorrow the Long March of Chairman ( Chairwoman? Chairthem? ) Starmer reaches its destination. I have one final thing to say : JOIN THE FREE SPEECH UNION NOW!!!!

Leaf jump should be in the Olympics 😂

Good advice Dusty. Even if none of us needs the FS Union 🤞, the money will help the many people who will need their support. Apparently, nearly half of their cases at the moment, relate to discrimination due to gender critical views. How many will there be when Labour brings in more hate speech legislation about ‘twansphobia’ and misgendering?

Starmer does not get it does he.

There is nothing kind or dignified about encouraging delusional mental illnesses. It isn't kind to tell an impressionable child that they were born in the wrong body.

It isn't kind to chemically delay the natural biological process of puberty.

It isn't kind to set people on a lifetime dependency of synthetic hormones.

It isn't kind to turn confused young women into post menopausal women with oesteoporosis and incontinence.

It isn't kind to castrate young men.

It isn't kind to tell young men a hollowed out void is as good as a vagina.

It isn't kind to allow eunuchs unfettered access to women's spaces.

It is fucking evil.

Expand full comment

The problem is that they’re mostly not eunuchs, they’re males with a fetish who get a kick out of violating women’s boundaries. But you’re right, it’s all evil.

True, I just don't think any male should have access to women's spaces.

Thanks for the news, as always, JL.

Starmer's a weasel.

Love the dog in the piles of leaves as well as the Molly Sarle video. What a lovely voice she has.

Lovely to see Sue Barker on board and she speaks quite frankly about this.

Crazy you mention Texas, because only this week did Rep. Lloyd Doggett make the statement that Biden needs to stand down for re-election, and allow someone else to run. It is clear to everyone that Biden doesn't know what day of the week it is, let alone have the mental capacity to run a country.

The BBC interview was so biased against Jane. I love her calling a spade a spade. Dear oh dear what a prat Starmer is! He will go well with the moron we have in Australia. Well done, Jane.

Here is an excerpt from The New York Times' paywalled June 28, 2024, article about the Biden administration's new position on gender affirming surgeries for minors. The authors took pains to emphasize that "Surgery for transgender minors remains exceedingly rare, studies have shown."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Biden Administration Opposes Surgery for Transgender Minors

The statement followed a report in The Times that a federal health official had urged the removal of age minimums from treatment guidelines for transgender minors.

June 28, 2024

The Biden administration said this week that it opposed gender-affirming surgery for minors, the most explicit statement to date on the subject from a president who has been a staunch supporter of transgender rights.

The White House announcement was sent to The New York Times on Wednesday in response to an article reporting that staff in the office of Adm. Rachel Levine, an assistant secretary at the Department of Health and Human Services, had urged an influential international transgender health organization to remove age minimums for surgery from its treatment guidelines for minors.

The draft guidelines would have lowered the age minimums to 14 for hormonal treatments, 15 for mastectomies, 16 for breast augmentation or facial surgeries, and 17 for genital surgeries or hysterectomies. The final guidelines, released in 2022, removed the age-based recommendations altogether.

“Adm. Levine shared her view with her staff that publishing the proposed lower ages for gender transition surgeries was not supported by science or research, and could lead to an onslaught of attacks on the transgender community,” an H.H.S. spokesman said in a statement on Friday evening.

Federal officials did not elaborate further on the administration’s position regarding the scientific research or on Adm. Levine’s role in having the age minimums removed.

The administration, which has been supportive of gender-affirming care for transgender youth, expressed opposition only to surgeries for minors, not other treatments. The procedures are usually irreversible, critics have said.

Medical care for transgender adolescents has become a hot-button issue in many states, particularly in conservative political circles. The Texas Supreme Court on Friday upheld a state law banning all gender-affirming medical treatment for minors.

The Supreme Court agreed on Monday to hear a challenge — brought in part by the Biden administration — to a Tennessee law that bans treatments including puberty blockers, hormone therapy and surgery for transgender minors. This will be first time the justices will decide on the constitutionality of such statewide bans.

The Biden administration’s previous statements on gender-affirming care for minors have not in the past explicitly opposed surgery.

Just seen the exit poll saying Labour is on course for a huge majority. I think we should all write to our local Labour Party representative warning them that they may be in power but we will not tolerate any erosion of women’s rights and safety.

The most depressing part of the first story is that ONLY two thirds of Labour voters think women don't have penises!
