But I’m a complete hypocrite cos I am not sharing this sort of info on FB cos I’m scared of being ostracised (my FB friends are nearly all IRL friends / family or online work colleagues ). The only thing I’ve posted there was the link to the GRA consultation with a plea that people who know me hopefully know I’m not a vindictive or bigoted person. I don’t use FB much and I didn’t check for comments for ages as I was scared of losing people who I value.

It's alarming to see so many judges believing the oft repeated claim that trans are the most persecuted minority in the world in spite of evidence to the contrary. Those judges seem to lack judgement.
Loopholes aplenty. This is absolutely shameful and frustrating. I would take a ping and say these are opportunists who perpetuate their vile behaviour literally under the guise that they are the victim. Classic narcissism at the cost to everyone who crosses their path. Not to mention how these crimes are reported. I’m disgusted - I feel like the little boy in the emperor’s new clothes - when the hell is the law going to wake up to this I wonder?
I have a small hope that a British judge might, just might, understand DARVO if it is explained to him by a prosecution barrister. There is a public interest in these cases (the Australian cases get a lot of coverage in the Daily Mail!) and judges do take account of the Mail. A correct understanding of the psychology of DARVO is the beginning of reversing these injustices, but....
Of course years ago I thought innocently that judges became judges precisely because they (1) knew the law on sentencing and (2) could use their independent minds to decide on what was appropriate. They are brought to heel by these tomes.
I am very concerned that the transgender judge Master (yes!) Victoria McCloud may have had a hand in these reference books. He was previously Jason Williams (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2020/02/17/deed-poll-process-needs-attention-ensure-trans-people-not-outed/: "In the late 1990s she changed her name from Dr Jason Williams to Dr Victoria McCloud"). McCloud edited 5 editions, including the current edition, of the Civil Procedure Handbook. These are the dullest of the dullest legal reference books. He has earned his "brownie points".
Please note that Victoria McCloud continues to hide his past in his Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_McCloud. Basically I am very worried about this corrupt influence right inside the judiciary. He should have been denied promotion on grounds of his mental disability - inability to evaluate evidence properly (the material reality of SEX).
Looking at this situation in the round judges are caught between a rock and a hard place. There are no jails for trans-identifying men. Any "jail bird" running this tale has to have it taken seriously - because judges have not yet understood DARVO - and they know that they risk a riot if they sentence a transsexual to a proper sentence in a male prison.
I would like to persuade Dr Nicola Williams of FairPlayForWomen to take up this matter. She is currently advising a woman prisonner who has been attacked by a transsexual in a woman's prison and is trying to get the Court to uphold her right to a single-sex prison place. The MoJ turned up without essential defence documents in Sept last year and the Judge postponed proceedings to give the MoJ more time to produce them....??

These criminals are vile and it's infuriating that the judges in these cases are letting them go with light sentences, or no sentence at all. It seems that they interpret TIMs as already punished bc they've 'sunk so low' as to call themselves women. I guess they figure there's not much worse than that--only a truly pathetic person would actually choose to be a woman. I think judges should take off their misogyny goggles for a minute so they could see what's actually going on with TIMs.

There is extensive "guidance" offered to Crown Court judges in the UK, including the "Equal Treatment Bench Book" May 2020 (https://www.judiciary.uk/publications/new-edition-of-the-equal-treatment-bench-book-launched/ ) and the "Crown Court Compedium" Dec 2020 (https://www.judiciary.uk/publications/crown-court-compendium-published/) which offers "...guidance on directing the jury in Crown Court trials and when sentencing,...."

I checked and Master McCloud did not edit the "Crown Court Compedium" only handbook of Civil Procedure.
But it is must be true that he is unable or unwilling to assess properly evidence about the material reality of sex. Agreed?
