You or your son can change your Steam profile name, and picture in the Steam app, you can also unfriend people and make your profile hidden from searches and for two-factor authentication for login's. I'd seriously consider taking the time to do this for your sons safety, there's a lot of sociopathic TRA nerds who may try to fuck with the account.
It's like there's a board somewhere that meets every few hours to see if they've found anything new they can use to smear you. The 'digging into old online accounts' committee have earned their woke cookies today, as did the 'woman comments something slightly off that Glinner did not instantly condemn' committee earlier. I imagine they're quite chuffed because they're very competitive with the committee that police JKR's tweet-likes for signs of approval of people who said something not quite 100% trans affirmative in 1992.

Someone called Joshua Ward (no profile photo surprise surprise) literally called everyone who supported the post as transphobic. People like this need to be challenged.
