Thank you for putting this, in particular: "... allows trans rights activists to hold up slogans counteracting arguments that no-one is making. If there’s no debate, people think this is the debate." into words.

That’s REALLY good, isn’t it? I agree. Thanks for putting it into words, Glinner!

some comments on Thinktank McCrazypants (Twitter)

@Lady__GSoulI actually don't know how babies are born and anybody who says they do is a liar. What's more, EVERYBODY AGREES WITH ME!

Replying to @Lady__GSoulApparently it was the Stork for me, my mother and my grandmother. So my biology homework began"There has been no sexual intercourse in this family for three generations".

Replying to @Lady__GSoul and @ForwomenScotI had heard you needed a man and a woman to make a baby, but as no one knows who they are or which is which, I guess I got lucky when I got pregnant. The midwife assigned her female based on her genitals. How presumptive!

liambrunetti@liambrunetti“I actually don’t know why we put food in our mouths and not up our bumholes, nobody on this panel does. And anybody who says they do know is a liar.”

Is it breach of contract - or negligence?

Money was exchanged for consultancy that was wrong - when they were supposed to be specialists/ experts! The damage they have caused can’t be brushed under the carpet- they’ve caused serious harm

Expand full comment

But someone in my Twitter feed said that the typical contract between SW and a client includes effectively a "Non-Disclosure Agreement" and a total denial of liability for the consequences of any advice offered by SW. Sounds like Dentons drafted the contract!

Someone has seen this contract? Can we get a copy from a "disaffected company" - a bit like a "detransitioner" only a Company/Public Authority?

It would be fantastic, wouldn't it??? Investigative journos like Jo Bartosch??

Expand full comment

Yes I’d like to see someone do this. It is a total scandal

A contracted organisation would not normally be allowed to specify contractual terms on these lines in my experience. The public sector is always very risk averse. But if it is the case then there would be questions to be asked about why this contract was allowed to be let.

Yes. I agree. So what exactly IS the client getting in exchange for all the money paid, executive time given over producing documents, attending "training courses", modifying all the internal and client-facing procedures and documents, etc. etc? If the advice is FALSE, then the Client has good grounds to sue. See the excellent article by LegalFeminist: https://legalfeminist.org.uk/2021/02/01/submission-and-compliance/

Just read it - quite appalling that public bodies are coerced to waste time and money on this fantasy stuff

Everyone is terrified of these obviously insane trans activists working for SW or similar trans-promoting organisation. The clients pick up the "vibes" - and they do what they asked to do. This is similar to the "gas-lighting" that we transwidows experience. If you are a willing accomplice in your own gaslighting then you comply. If you are an angry rebel who observes that you are being badly treated, as I observed, then you do not go along with the gas-lighting and you refuse to be led into the rabbit hole. This is all an example of narcissism and the display of power.

As a consultant (economist) with a lot of public sector clients I have to carry a large amount of insurance (£s m) in case I provide the wrong advice. It is usually a precondition of public sector contracts so I would imagine it is not beyond the bounds of possibility for someone to sue the Scottish Government for the consequential harms of misrepresentation of the EA 2010 or similar and then the Scottish Government would have to sue Stonewall for misadvising them. Let's hope so.

God I’d love that. My own government has sold us down the river on this and I would like to hear them defend their actions in court.

Transactivism is "an example of mass sociogenic illness, which involves behaviors, emotions, or conditions spreading through a group.” I read this in the Atlantic: “Munchausen by internet” describes a syndrome wherein patients pose as sick or dying in chat rooms and online support groups." Doesn't this sound familiar? "...the most vulnerable communities across the globe... “the violent deaths of 37 transgender and gender-nonconforming people” were described as an “epidemic of violence” by our president...”

https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2021/03/krug-carrillo-dolezal-social-munchausen-syndrome/618289/

The Human Rights Campaign maintains a year-by-year database containing every known case of a transgender individual being killed by violent means. In 2017 (the most violent recent year on record), there were 29 recorded murders of trans individuals, a fraction of the 17,294 murders committed that year; 26 in 2018, of 16,214 murders nationally; and 29 in 2019 of 16,425 murders nationally.

I was kicked off Medium for pointing this out.

I certainly hope SW can be sued and held accountable for the major part they and their disciples played perpetuating the gender ideology myth.

Nancy Kelley and Stonewall's fingerprints are all over the mutilation of children, the erasure and harassment of women, the erasure and harassment of lesbians, the pain of families torn asunder by this dangerous ideology and the pain and ramifications of people cancelled for questioning the madness.

Kelly and Stonewall know there is a shift in public opinion and she is on a rehabilitation tour with this interview. Stonewall, Kelly and everyone who supported this dangerous ideology must be reminded everyday of their part in this horror. The damage caused by this ideology will take years to undo. Not to mention the untold number of children who will be left with shrivelled genitals and serious mental health issues.

I hope and pray this nightmare will end soon for all our mental health.

ThinkTank McCrazyPants is surely an excellent advertisement for whatever schools she attended where they didn't teach even the most basic biology. And if I were as mentally challenged as she obviously is, I would be very careful calling other people liars.

The Kelly Car Crash Interview of 2121 . What I took from it was there's a realistion from her , that for all the denial/obfustication ( eg around JKR ) her aruguments wither and die under decent journos questioning . There's panic there in her responses .

Expand full comment

Was she so deluded she thought she could just BS her way through the whole interview? I think so. She's been talking boll0x at people who've taken it all on board for so long (like the BBC, NHS etc) that she forgot what might happen when she came under scrutiny from someone who wasn't buying it.

Whether Nancy Kelley either believes all her own nonsense or she's a liar, she's made herself look like a complete prat and I for one am extremely happy. This woman (oo sorry can I call her that?) has been driving this BS for the best part of 18 months and she thought she could get away with it forever, but thanks to Nolan's reporting (and now her word salad interview with Emma Barnett) she's been outed as a complete fraud, and an absolute joke. The woman is a national disgrace.

Someone has uploaded the Nancy Kelley Woman's Hour Interview onto YouTube. How she wriggles and fibs! Emma Barnett did a splendid job of heading her off at the pass every time Kelley tried to make a break for it with a diversion or put up a smokescreen of flummery!

It's high time the Scottish government started to use its collective brain and stopped listening to a misogynistic lobby group like Stonewall . No sensible person reading those " guidelines " ( ie instructions ) could possibly believe they were fair or just !! Erasure of women is a threat to humanity ,and it they can't see that they're wilfully blind and criminal irresponsible !!

I cannot understand why JKR isn't suing..

It would largely depend on what Stonewall's mandate is (and I honestly can't figure out what that is precisely) and if the money they get in donations is going toward it for it to be considered fraud if that money was lining someone's pocket, for example.
