BDSM is not related to anyone's job role, so wouldn't a training session on this count as sexual harassment? It'd be worth any NHS employee at least exploring that as an option.
This is so surreal. If the NHS is so much in financial trouble that it requires billions from a so called conservative government, is the gender identity industry lobbying government and the managerial class to impose its agenda? Or are the financial woes really just overblown since money is being thrown at the science denying misogyny cult? Strange and corrupt either way.
How dare Hewitt condemn an investigation into why so many young girls are seeking to transition as "absurd and offensive"? Clearly he has no concern for anyone but himself and his fellow AGP-afflicted cohort.
Excellent research, JL. In the charity and non-NHS sectors - antenatal support, breastfeeding advocacy, new mum support, doulas - this is proliferating too. An outfit called The Queer Birth Club is selling training and consultancy services to antenatal teachers and others who feel unsure about whether its women who give birth, and who want to be able to deny the sexist, patriarchal framework of the maternity services.
It's so difficult to articulate how extremely disgraceful it is that the cash strapped NHS is willing to spend vital , and much needed , funds to actively indoctrinate its staff into an ideology which is totally unscientific , has not a shred of credibility among sensible and intelligent people ,and has the potential to cause so much harm . This is truly terrifying ,with serious implications not just for healthcare in the future ,but for the actual stability of our society ,especially our Democracy. I can't think of one single argument in favour of turning the government of any country ,including ours over to 1% of the population ,many of whom are either very sick or truly evil !! What on EARTH are the authorities thinking of and what " benefits " do they expect to gain from this war on women ,who after all are the backbone of this country ??
Are there FOI requests that would be useful? Yes is the answer to that.
1. Asking how much is spent on training and more specifically on LGBT+ training per Health Board/Trust? 2. Asking how much backfill is required per HB/T for staff attending such training? 3. Asking what specific outcomes are expected from each of the training sessions for staff, and for patients? 4. Asking how many transpeople are expected to be patients in each HB/T over the next 2 years.
Answer to 4. Will be very few. Therefore the answers to the rest will be really interesting.
Would be best if the questions come from someone who lives and works in England. I do enough annoying the NHS in Scotland!

Dismal, meantime, following Lisa Townsend's appointment, it looks like many police and crime commissionaires are speaking out against Stonewall, one making the point that it was plain wrong to use taxpayers' money to finance such an organisation. https://www.conservativehome.com/localgovernment/2021/09/stonewall-controversy-more-views-from-conservative-police-and-crime-commissioners.html
From the comments, it seems many people did not realise how much money is being given to Stonewall for their questionable 'expertise'
Would be good to ask the UK taxpayers which of these topics COVID treatment funds should be spent on.
Include a WTF answer in the survey.
Makes me so cross
Another way to waste our money..OUR MONEY by woketarded idiots not able to say not on my nelly in this hospital..
