How Vital NHS Funds Are Being Spent On Promoting Gender Ideology
A week in the life of NHS training.
This week the NHS is hosting some questionable online training sessions for its staff.
To start with, there are sessions on LGBQT+ Basics Training, Intersectionality, Bi+ Allyship and Plurisexual Identities.
For the uninitiated, ‘plurisexual’ is defined as “Individuals who experience attractions to people of multiple genders”. And you will notice that, for the session on bisexual allyship, an additional + is required to indicate a ‘special’ bisexuality that somehow extends beyond attraction to both sexes and to ‘all genders’.
The NHS is promoting gender identity ideology by peddling the notion that there are more than two sexes in its training.
Lets take a closer look at some of the other individual sessions available this week.
Why Pride? A History, with Chief Executive of Stonewall, Nancy Kelley
A history of the Pride movement according to Stonewall CEO, Nancy Kelley.
Stonewall is a political lobby group. It campaigns to erase women’s sex-based rights and spaces, it promotes anti-science gender identity ideology and it has already been caught mispresenting the Equality Act 2010.
And lets not forget that Nancy Kelley once likened gender-critical feminists to anti-Semites. So it’s pretty clear what her agenda is.
Why on earth is she being allowed to ‘train’ NHS staff? Especially when this appears to be the quality of the training she provides; discussion of BDSM kink and lying about gay and lesbian history.
Trans and Non-Binary Allyship with Dr Tara Hewitt and Dr Leslie Cove
Tara Hewitt, a trans-identified male, is the co-founder of the Trans Equality Legal Initiative (TELI). He’s a ‘diversity consultant’, a vociferous trans activist and an ‘advisor’ to numerous public bodies, including the NHS.
Of course, he’s a big fan of the NHS policy which allows males to self identify their way into women-only wards.
A couple of years ago, the government intended to research the huge and disproportionate number of adolescent girls seeking gender treatment at the Tavistock & Portman GIDS clinic. Hewitt described the proposed research as ‘absurd and offensive’ and said the project should be ‘dropped in the bin’.
He’s also appeared on a Gender GP podcast (GenderGP being the highly dubious offshore clinic which prescribes hormones to minors without their parents’ knowledge) alongside disgraced GP, Helen Webberley.
And this person is providing training for NHS staff?
It's Not Just 0s and 1s: Trans and Non-Binary Awareness
Yet more ‘awareness’ training regarding trans and non-binary identities.
Why is the NHS peddling this nonsense and making the laughable assertion that sex is not binary? If anyone should understand and acknowledge the reality of biological sex, it is our national healthcare provider.
To be ignorant of someone’s biological sex in a healthcare setting can have tragic consequences. Even in as mundane a scenario as someone donating or requiring blood, an individual’s sex is important.
That our tax-payer funded National Health Service is gaslighting its staff to pretend or, heaven help us, believe that sex is anything other than binary and immutable is an appalling waste of public money. And very dangerous.
Trans Literary Evening
A trans literary evening? Hard to envisage how is this of use or benefit to NHS staff in the context of their professional lives. It will be interesting to learn which four ‘prominent’ trans authors are to be featured (since no information seems to be available prior to this event).
Will the NHS be inviting Helen Joyce to read extracts from her book anytime soon?
We know that the NHS is in crisis, that it is in desperate need of funds and resources.
So how does it make any kind of financial sense to devote an entire week to peddling a highly contentious, highly ideological, often homophobic set of beliefs?
Are there FOI requests that might be useful here? We’d love to know how much of our income is going to funding this offensive, revisionist, misogynistic balderdash.
BDSM is not related to anyone's job role, so wouldn't a training session on this count as sexual harassment? It'd be worth any NHS employee at least exploring that as an option.
