She certainly doesn't mince her words. But so fucking what? This should NOT be a police and court matter. If they treated everyone who makes angry and insulting social media posts equally, the police and courts would get nowt else done.
Btw, have you seen the recent critique of the Equal Treatment Bench Book? It's about bloody time this was looked at!
Never apologise for swearing when you are angry. There is very much to be livid about at present. Today I typed CUNT into a below-the-line comment to a twatty transactivist in the Times, knowing that it would immediately be deleted, but it felt goood nonetheless (yes, I know I used female anatomy to signal great disdain; I know Germaine Greer would have something to say about it, but I reclaim CUNT)
Jason is a pompous, condescending, self righteous shit - he calls women on Twitter hateful & abusive because they don't agree with his views on being kind and giving away all our rights, and writes windbag blog posts on how self ID is perfectly harmless and if only women would budge up & shut up everything would be so much nicer
I've read some of that exchange between Hayden and other GC women and I can see why they question whether SH is a lawyer. Sure doesn't come across like one in any way.
I think we will look back on this period one day and wonder what the hell WAS in the koolaid. Taking people to court and reporting them to police because they don't believe men can be women? Is this really a good use of court/police time and resources? What happened to democracy? Free speech?
then you are no different to TRAs how can you be if you do the same thing presume the worst motives in others. Just as I believe she has a right to freedom of speech so does he, and I will not pretend my farts don't smell, everybody's farts smell taking ownership of it that marks us out not denial.
Actually, people with a healthy gut lacking putrefactive bacteria do not have stinky farts! It's the bad bacteria that make for stinky farts and shits.
I always get suspicious when I hear "devoutly religious." Is he in thrall to patriarchal religion which tells him every day and in every way that he is superior to women? I'll mention who is devoutly religious: Her name is Betty Clermont and she wrote a book titled The Neo-Catholics which is about the feudalists who want to end women's rights, attempts at democracy and egalitarianism, and who control the Catholic Church (Clermont is a devout Catholic).
name some others also deeply religious Gandhi & Martin Luther King - were they enthrall to patriarchal religions too? Do you actually know anything about their religious beliefs?
Since both my parents were involved in civil rights activities in this here U.S.A., I think I probably know more about Martin Luther King than you do. My father died the day before MLK was murdered and we thanked the gods that he did not live to see King killed. I don't know how King viewed women; many men in the civil rights movement were deeply misogynistic and wanted women to shut up and do the grunt work. I have admiration for Gandhi, but I think his attitude toward women was backward (you take what's positive and keep the negative in the back of your mind). I think you need to learn respect.
he probably is just as J K Rowling did. That's not the point the point is whether like Gandhi & MLK you believe what your fighting for is worth dying on the cross with Jesus for. Is he willing to put on the funeral suit for an idea that women aren't conscious in the same way as men that claim to be women are, are they just stereotypes instead of unique humans? Does he believe we can solve world hunger and global warming by re-identifying the starving as well -fed and the planet's climate stable or does our religious views necessitate believing in the material & biological world as a means of relieving human suffering.
Would have added the suffragette that threw herself onto a horse to that list but for the life of me can't remember her name. However the point is still the same he's either got his funeral suit on and skin in the game or his pride is hurt that he received death threats instead of praise and that comes before a fall.

Sorry I'm so sweary today.
I get that a lot. Condescending lectures about how I "need to be more respectful" by a third party.
That's an open invitation to disrespect the white knight nobody asked for. Amirite? Like you say, twitter ain't kindergarten so meh. Fuck 'em.
I fucking hear you.
As my husband says, no fucking obscenities allowed.

He widnae huv the baws tae say it tae her face 🤬
I’ve replied : Journalist? That used to mean something. Not anymore.

But he's devoutly religious!
What a fanny. Anyone see the post where he describes himself as a "first rate academic".
First rate roaster, more like.

Hayden is as much a lawyer as he is a woman.
Ah, a self-identified lawyer. How trendy.
When is Marion’s Court Date?
20th
"I don't care what her beliefs are" lied Jason Michael.
Not sure what started this off, but I know Jason is devoutly religious and many of his world views are through that prism.
Im not defending what he said, it seems out of character, but I’ve always found him open to calm discussion if people want to ask him about this.
I’ve just seen him tweet that he’s getting death threats, insults and being called a paedophile and similar this morning.
you often hear this. I don't believe the 'death threats' part for a moment because they are *never* produced
The persecutors are always whining about being persecuted. Personally, I'm not against persecuting the persecutors, though no threats of violence.

You are a minefield of information

Do you think he objected to her 'tone'?
