I see this wee shitebag from time to time in Glasgow. Hes a tiny wee guy and I never minded him when he talked about independence, but then he watched too much porn I guess and has bounced about from Stephen to Steph. Attention seeking little prick.
His article is a ridiculous spinning of the actual facts. Just like Owen Jones tweeted something like 'Stonewall won- everything else is just noise'. !? But because debate is never allowed, we can't reveal the full truth, and cannot show the public what these 'acitivists' are like. I decided to put my head over the parapet on Facebook yesterday- I posted a Happy Birthday to JK Rowling, who I said was a brave defender of women and children. Now, 36 hours later, it has 102 comments. 2 people I used to know and work with in (UK) Green Party for 5 years, said JK was a vile transphobe- and how sad it was that I had been hoodwinked, and gone down rabbit hole... the usual shite. The great thing is, the large number of people who liked or loved the post, and argued against the TRA drivel. (One Labour supporter hates JKR for being anti Labour in 2015 and 19 (he claimed)). Otherwise, lots of support for JKR. BTW, Green Party Deputy Leader Election on now- Shahrar Ali is the only candidate who says all rights matter, and women and children must be protected. He is also bringing legal action against GP for their discrimination against GC views. He got 25% of vote last year- I really hope he gets much more this time.
Update- posted Sun pm. Now Tues eve- 104 comments (good debates...). 25 likes/loves. The 3 idiots who tried to call everybody transphobes, have pissed off. I'm encouraged that so many people have realised what is going on- because usually there isn't a public forum where we can speak...
Maybe because growing hair, getting it cut or coloured is a bit simpler than working on developing an interesting and engaging persona. One of those things takes no input at all! Great. The adoption of exotic pronouns, another low cost strategy requiring minimal effort. And look at all the fun and satisfaction you can have with it. Virtually willing people to get them wrong so you can get all uppity, offended, marginalised or distressed.
To quote Thom Yorke...Whatever makes you happy. Whatever you want. You're so fuckin' special.
They keep repeating‘several new centres’ (only two to start with) and missing off the Tavistock GIDS was declared “NOT SAFE” for children. What bit of NOT SAFE are they not getting?🙄
Briefly. Basically it's an SNP fanzine. The is no real news and frankly you can pick anything up on twitter two days earlier than the National would ever report.
The SNP government gifted funding of £3mil to help out the print media in Scotland- 2021, allegedly Covid help.
This year £9mil was requested. (Don't know if this was paid).
Big thing is for such a trans friendly party, wouldn't the money have been far better spent on directly helping out the criminally neglected GI clinics in Scotland?
Tell me. What do we call it when any Government pays/bails out the media?
The 'National' is full square behind Sturgeon's push for Self ID. Hence Stephen Paton's regular column.
Control the media. Control the narrative.
The Cass Review should have been a complete wake up call to the Scotgov. Not seriously reported in the Scottish media yet. The Sandford clinic (Glasgow) is still doling out puberty blockers with no planned review of practice.
Appalling that they are plowing on regardless.
We are lurching to a authoritarian society up here. Its scary.
I also used to subscribe to them but not for too long once I realised how much of their 'journalism' was lifted from Twitter and SNP press releases, and spotted that their four pages of letters featured the same dozen names every day.
I do wonder about what the Sandyford is up to and what action, if any, they will take. Perhaps it'll take some FoI requests about the clinical evidence base, if not some legal action against them by patients.
More widely, the SG's entire trans bias with regard to social policy and disbursement of public funds to the third sector is likely illegal under the Equality Act 2010. I don't know why there haven't been court cases yet, as it seems like they've happily left a wide-open goal. Although that may be symptomatic of the incestuous relationship between the SNP, civil service, and third sector figures. They all know each other and all agree with each other?
Very incestuous relationships altogether. But then if you don't agree with the Sturgeon narrative, you get 'binned'. As per Joan McAlpine and Joanna Cherry.
There is no-one in the Scotgov prepared to stand up and be counted.
What a complete load. He starts out the “article” on a lie - no, I didn’t hear that Bailey won her case against stonewall, she clearly stated she lost against stonewall. Then it goes down hill from there. Bailey won a huge case against her employer, and that is what we are rightly rejoicing. What a clown, a straw man building clown.
It's beyond a fucking joke.
The mocking of Allison Bailey’s body stance is particularly annoying.

Looks like it was blowing a gale in that photoshoot... 🤡
One look at that picture and... 🎵I ran, I ran so far away🎵
"You are merely the owner of a haircut that will become ever more unfashionable with each new breaking scandal."
Loooooooooooooooooooooooooool

Sometimes “fuck off’ are the only 2 words needed. Thanks G. & Moley — so satisfying.
I am not sure I deserve thanks to be honest! I did a one minute graphic to express what I thought.
Aww— yer always so modest Moley — consider it thanks for you being wonderful you!
Thank you! 👍😁
FFS why do they always have stupid hair?

Spot on. 😊
It’s for a proper hair flick and head tilt.
🤮
A very apt song title too.
Because… male pattern baldness oh and fugly inside and out.
It's the uniform. It helps as I know who to avoid.
Match the stupid face ?
Sure looks like ‘Steph’ knows a thing or two about “orchestrated misinformation’.
QUITE
As my mother would have once said “He looks like he could do with a damn good bath”.
We are living in the age of the non entity, except everyone is listening to them.
They keep repeating‘several new centres’ (only two to start with) and missing off the Tavistock GIDS was declared “NOT SAFE” for children. What bit of NOT SAFE are they not getting?🙄
Yes and those centres will be focusing on a more wholistic & evidence - based long term approach, unlike Tavistock & Mermaids.
Arthur Scaregirls 🤣🤣🤣
That's quite brilliant!
Totally legit well considered response. 💜
That's offensive to the very arty Flock of Seagulls. That's more "power cut at the barbers"
Or the nit nurse got bored half way through
Nit nurse 😂😂😂😂
I am so sick of this shit

100% Dave.

Ps Dave. This is not a new article but the same names loom large. The best people are not getting the top jobs. Pretty disturbing actually.

They think it hides their extremely boring personality
