✅ here’s my email:

I support the amendment to Rule 59G-1.050, which would ban Medicaid reimbursement for puberty blockers, hormones, hormone antagonists, sex reassignment surgeries & other procedures that alter primary/secondary sex characteristics.

My 16 year-old daughter is convinced she is a gay man even though she never exhibited any gender dysphoria in her life. She is on a pathway to harming her health irreparably and permanently.

Almost all of her friends are trans identified, some of whom fare no better on wrong sex hormones. This amendment will save children from being medical patients for the rest of their lives. It will save them from probable complications due to so-called gender-affirmative care. It will save their mental health and possibly their lives.

Reddit/detrans now has over 35,000 members and grows daily. Without easy access to hormones, puberty blockers and surgeries there will be far fewer boys and girls who regret their transitions.

Let’s please be sane and slow down and stop experimenting on children.

Thank you for sharing! I am a Florida citizen, but we all get busy and local politics falls off our radar screens. If this hadn't popped in my Inbox today, I would have missed it. Thank you, Graham and Genspect!

Here’s mine: I write to support the amendment to Rule 59G-1.050, because allowing Medicaid reimbursement for puberty blockers, hormones, hormone antagonists, sex reassignment surgeries etc is state sanctioned child abuse. In the future people will be horrified, disgusted and angered that politicians supported, and tax payers funded, irreversible damage to CHILDREN who are being indoctrinated into a novel and bizarre belief system by adults, whether directly by encouraging the belief itself and that the course of action is necessary or indirectly by colluding with these interventions.

No medical intervention should be taking place without evidence that the benefits outweigh the harms. In this case, there is no serious evidence of benefits and clear evidence of multiple harms for many/ most children.

Thank you for your attention,

Here's the email that I sent:

I am writing in support of the amendment to Rule 59G-1.050.

As a supporter of women's rights, LGB rights, science, rationality, and human well-being, and an opponent of stereotypes (like the sex-based ones known as "gender"), I want to ban Medicare reimbursement for: puberty blockers; hormones; hormone antagonists; sex reassignment surgeries; and all other procedures that alter primary/secondary sex characteristics.

Please don't encourage the irrational and harmful belief that women are merely a feeling, and that pernicious stereotypes about the sexes are more real than biological sex itself.

Thank you for taking the time to read my email.

Good afternoon,

Please accept this email as a message in support of amendment to Rule 59G-1.050 that disallow reimbursement for puberty blockers, hormones, hormone antagonists, sex reassignment surgeries and other life-changing procedures that alter primary/secondary sex characteristics.

I reference the growing numbers of testimonies from people who have gone through 'transition procedures' and are now in the painful process of attempting to unwind the procedures they undertook, as part of their Gender Dysphoria journey. Many are accepting that they had not been in receipt of total understanding of the lasting effects of such procedures and in many cases are dealing with life-long regret from their decisions to proceed with the procedures, now in full knowledge of the life-changing impact the procedures would have on their everyday lives and realizing the procedures were not at all effective in assisting them with the difficulty of gender dysphoria.

Gratefully Yours,

it would've helped to translate it to GMT for us- coz if EST 5pm is GMT 9pm, looks like my email will be too late at 10.10pm GMT? :-(

Sorry if that sounds critical. I wanted to follow the England Women (actual!) football ('soccer') team in the Euros, and thought I could send an email afterwards. England 8 - Norway 0 -the Lionesses were on fire! Great role models. And BTW sickening to think (real) female athletes could lose their careers and livelihoods if TIMs ever invaded their sport...

To whom it may concern:

Ban Medicaid reimbursement for puberty blockers, hormones, hormone antagonists, sex reassignment surgeries & other procedures that alter primary/secondary sex characteristics. Benefits are unproven at best and risks of permanent damage are extraordinarily high, if not certain. We must protect children and vulnerable adults from this medical fad.

With grave concern,
