There were men who, yes, were skilled in the art of war and fighting. They also danced elegantly, sang, played musical instruments, wrote poetry, were well read, curious, intellectual, tried to manage their maleness in various ways such as "chivalric" ideals (yes ok, not perfectly equality between sexes but there WERE numerous attempts to control/channel male aggression).

Er...HOW can teachers teach youngsters about the incel movement and its' hatred of women, when the education system is busy telling them that MEN are women and women are men? HOW are they going to define 'women' to their pupils?
You have to wonder how some people manage to get a PhD when they're clearly, absolutely stupid, and don't seem able to do anything that isn't black-and-white thinking.
I wonder what STEM phd holders think when they see how easy it is for people in other disciplines to get post graduate degrees. It seems like all they need is time and money.
According to an older friend of mine, all you need to do in the U.S. is put together a dissertation of quotations from other people's work. God forbid, DO NOT DO ANYTHING ORIGINAL.
And, years ago, a Palestinian woman told my husband that a high school degree she got was about equivalent to a master's degree in the U.S.
