From a friend keeping an eye on the situation:
“It all kicked off overnight. What I'm seeing is Reddit and Twitter being flooded with people calling Aimee out. It's really something. Apparently now it's cool to post "Aimee Challenor's" name just for the sake of it - to be rebellious - and people are calling for her resignation. So, so many people reading articles on her on the net, including yours, and well... being disgusted really.
But this is big. Reddit moderators are protesting. This contains a list of sub-reddits who have set their sub-reddit to private (so no-one can use it) until Reddit sort the Aimee thing out. Basically, they've gone on strike.”
Many of the largest / default subs have gone private in protest, subs with millions of members. 21 subs with 1 million+ members, and loads more with 500k+, 100k+, 50k+.
Don’t miss today’s Mess We’re In. We’ll be talking about Stonewall, The Greens, the Lib Dems, Reddit and everyone else responsible for protecting Aimee these last few years. Please let people know that if they want to catch up on the full story, this is the best way to do it.
Catch you later, Challenorgaters!

Ashton Challenor, the boy who disappeared.
I just want to remind everyone of Sonia Poulton's documentary about the Challoners just over a year ago, plus the political parties and charities' complicity in all of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHk_tdn-ga0
Reddit users seem to have a strong free speech attitude- used historically, I believe, to justify child porn too. But hiding someone’s past association with abusers (to put it as mildly as I can) looks like a step too far. Finally.
Off topic: has anyone seen today’s Guardian article about the campaign protesting femenicide in France? Third from last para they mention that the founder of the campaign was ditched after writing an article about “the *idea* of biological sex” when “death threats were received”. No mention of who from - squirrels? Space aliens? - or the actual violence at the recent protest in Paris. A campaign all about naming violence against women, and the Graun can’t name the violence against its founder.
