I dislike the notion of such young children being taught about these kinds of stories even if they aren't about trans issues - why are they being taught about adult fears? There are age appropriate ways to teach kindness and tolerance. I think doing this documentary-style programming about adults with adult issues, is grooming small children to feel guilty for something they cannot possibly be guilty of, to feel responsible for these adults' feelings. It makes me very uneasy that people who run children's tv seem to understand children so little.

Too much heavy lifting for children to do. Let them alone, plenty of time to “trans” when they’re adults (if they don’t outgrow this mind fuckery).

Couldn’t agree more. My 5yo was playing a children’s computer game a while back and all of a sudden a BLM song for kids came on! Then my kid wanted to keep playing the song on repeat. The problem with that is that it is telling kids about a world that I just don’t think very young kids need to know about. It will make them more anxious when you have to explain these ideas to them. Like you say, there are more age appropriate ways to teach kids about kindness and tolerance without getting in to the nitty gritty of the different ways people face intolerance.

At age 2 they're learning shapes and colors and the beginnings of language. To think they have fully formed ideas about their "gender" - whatever that is - is insanity.

Good luck to Alison. I almost feel sorry for them. They have no idea what they are up against!

Please guys, cancel your BBC licences. Enough is enough. Our money talks and they listen. Its the only way to get through to them.

Please beware of getting too angry against the BBC. "Trans" worship is not the first political or societal hysteria to cause disruption to the neutrality of the BBC. Please stay loyal by paying your £157pa - a tiny amount! - and work to open their eyes to the harm that some of their programmes and commissioners are causing. Things will change if we keep complaining again and again and again....
