Another fantastic update, JL. Every day there is something about this movement that just shocks me even more. Just when you think you've heard it all....

Thank you! And, yes, I'm the same. Even after all these years, I never cease to be astounded by the madness of this ideology.

"Helen Lloyd, chairman of La Leche League GB, told the paper that the group leaders would never question a member’s ‘gender identity’ and that the charity’s policy of inclusivity means male attendees will not be challenged at its meetings."

Imagine being a new mother who has rocked up to a LLL meeting with their newborn babe in good faith - only to encounter a grubby fetishist using you all as props to his masturbatory pursuits? Imagine then when you understandably complain, but the facilitator is stymied into inactivity because of their "policy of inclusion"? The day when WOMEN have to beg to be included in groups designed exclusively for them is probably not far away, sadly.

Exactly, Spinny. This is my issue with the whole sorry mess. It's an absolute green light to perverts and fetishists who can rock up to LLL meetings and think all their grotty little dreams have come true.

It's a bizarre turn of events at any rate IYAM. I'm sure that any fathers who needed help with the care of a newborn infant would already have been able to access it WITHOUT LLL amending their so-called inclusivity protocol.

I'm sure that management there believe that trans make up a tiny percentage of the population and that "it would never happen" but they've left themselves wide open for creeps to ruin what should be a space where mothers feel safe to bring their babies.

Exactly. Perfect Trojan horse.

I wonder how the men who want to chest feed manage when the baby starts to cry. As a woman who has raised 4 children, I am perfectly aware of the message your body receives, and have been embarrassed on a number of occasions through involuntary lactation. Does this work the same for men? I seriously doubt it. Mens bodies contain different hormones to women, even those men who have been stuffing themselves with synthetic eostrogen. I really don't care about how the men feel, but I am increasingly concerned for the welfare of the babies. I really do feel as though I've stepped through some kind of portal into an insane futuristic world where nothing makes sense.

I really need to do some more research about this but, as I understand it, lactation in males isn't a common thing. Inducing lactation relies on something called the Newman Goldfarb protocol. The "patient" is fed high doses of an anti-nausea drug called domperidone. (This drug is actually banned by the FDA in the states!) There is only one documented case in which a trans identified male was able to lactate & feed and infant following this treatment. However, I'm pretty sure that no research has been done into the long-term effects on the infant or whether or not the 'milk' produced contains the same necessary nutrients etc. (Though I'm sure we can all guess!) Certainly, the FDA has warned against domperidone's off-label use as an anti-nausea drug for breast-feeding women due to its unknown risks to the babies. That is the extent of my knowledge on the subject - as I said, I need to do more research!

The National Center for Biotechnology Information wrote up a formal case report which then featured in the New Scientist.

I agree wholeheartedly! I find this pandering to fetishistic males absolutely nauseating. This determination to breastfeed, taking a cocktail of off-label drugs, no matter what the effect on the baby, is utterly disgraceful and I'm appalled at any medical professional encouraging it. This isn't dysphoria - it's a fetish and very obviously so. Revolting - as you so rightly say.

This shit is pure Thalidomide.

Are people really using the term "whorephobia" unironically now? Shoot me.

People like Christine Reilly do, certainly. Happy for other women to give blow jobs to total strangers in order to feed their kids and pay their rent. Safe in the knowledge that she, a privileged middle class gal with a law degree, will never be in that position.

It's such a stupid term though, especially given that virtually no-one who objects to prostitution is actually objecting to the women & children turning tricks aka the 'whores'. We object to whoever is brutally exploiting them.

It's just a useful word to throw around, like SWERF and TERF, to shut down debate and imply prudishness or bigotry etc. In Reilly's case, I think she's desperate to be seen as one of the cool girls.

Just a sincere question: is the rewire group for real. It seems not. Posting plain violence for Women in the posts publicly ? They don't have a blue tick anyways.

And when did bearded men fashion styling as Women with their flat chests and nips become the progress that is required. Is it trans or fetish ? People ain't stupid to buy that. I would rather have Micheal Jackson 😝

Stonewall keeps seething often these days. Their tweets are garbage , just same lines"TWAW, trans rights are Human rights, we will fight for trans , world is against trans, trans are the most oppressed minority, trans solidarity" , did I miss any of their usual quotes ? 😝

This week's war on Women seems like 'same old same old', which is good. Except for Amnesty ofocurse. That was a shocker.

Thank You JL, Your collation & sleuthing is worth a week otherwise wasted on twitter and lost in the fights. 😘

Thank you so much, Gauri! Yes, I'm afraid the Rewire News Group is very real. It's US based (of course!) and is an online publication that supposedly centres on sexual & reproductive healthcare. It used to be totally female orientated and was a decent read back in the day, when a proper feminist, Natasha Chart, was in charge. But now it's run by a gaggle of 'woke' koolaid guzzlers (I think Law & Policy editor Imani Gandy leads the charge) and they're all about pushing gender identity ideology.

Ugh !!! It's Amnesty all over again then.Wokey Wokey go brokey brokey

But this one actually went ahead to display violence openly , towards Women. That's something. Imani Gandy must really hate women for some reason.

I'm afraid you're right, Gauri. And the worst part? She is one.

I always knew it, handmaidens and Panderers who push their own sex ( sisters) under the bus are the worst. Nothing can hurt you more than the betrayal from your own (tribe 🤔).

I can understand it coming from celebs who have their careers into graves, for instance: Emma Watson, Elliot Page, Kristen Stewart, Sam Smith. But I really can't understand why Women with not much of politically significant position of authority or importance, try to be woke supporters in street, what's there to gain by doing this? They won't get attention, they won't get money, they won't get prestige, they won't be accepted by either Women or gender Ideologists. So why go to such extremes? I can see many Women doing this on twitter too !!!! Just can't justify why that is.
