Monday 5th April - New Prison Law Jeopardises Women’s Safety
LOS ANGELES TIMES: Women’s prisons in California have been inundated with transfer requests from trans-identified males.
Last year we reported on a new Californian law requiring the state to accommodate inmates in prisons based not on their sex but on their self-declared gender identity.
According to official figures, in the three months since this law came into effect, there have been 255 requests for transfers to the female estate by trans-identified males. Not all requests have been processed but, thus far, none have been denied. Furthermore, prison officials acknowledge that male inmates are falsely claiming to be trans in order to be accommodated in women’s prisons.
According to the The Post Millennial, one of the male prisoners already transferred to a women’s prison in California is murderer Jason Hann (now calling himself Jessica Marie). Hann killed his own children, aged 2 months and 10 months, and hid their remains. He was incarcerated in San Quentin until a change in his ‘gender identity’ saw him moved to the Central California Women's Facility last May.
Tuesday 6th April - The Long Arm Of The Gender Law
Derbyshire Police will now be investigating ‘incidents’ of ‘gender hate’.
In a lengthy Facebook post, the force offered this explanation about its new policy:
“Hate incidents are offences where a victim, or any other person, perceives to be motivated by hostility or prejudice towards any aspect of a person's identity…
In Derbyshire, we will recognise gender hate as: ‘A crime or any non-crime incident, which is perceived by the victim or any other person, to be motivated by hostility or prejudice based on a person’s gender or perceived gender’.
A new recording and investigative process will be implemented, ensuring that all incident reports, whether crime or non-crime, motivated by a person’s gender will be addressed.”
So, Derbyshire Police will be recording crime or ‘non-crime incidents’, ie when no law has been broken, based on a person’s ‘gender’ (for which no adequate definition is provided) or ‘perceived gender’ or ‘identity’ and this will be based on the victim’s, or, indeed, anybody else’s, perception of ‘hostility or prejudice’.
The Facebook post continued:
“All officers have recently completed comprehensive gender hate training sessions, on ways to tackle these incidents and to ensure that accurate and consistent reporting on gender hate offences take place.”
Gender hate training? Don’t Derbyshire police have anything more important with which to concern themselves, like a massive rise in knife crime, for example?
By the way, Derbyshire Constabulary is one of Stonewall’s diversity champions.
Wednesday 7th April - The Person’s Prize For Fiction
Last month we reported that the sixteen books nominated for the so-called Women’s Prize for Fiction included one written by a trans-identified male.
Torrey Peter’s Detranistion Baby is drenched in misogyny and ‘sissy porn’, fetishizes male violence against women and was written by a male author who posts photos like this of himself on social media.
Here are just a couple of excerpts from the book which judges deemed representative of women’s writing and female authors.
In response, a large group of women (including your humble author) signed an open letter to the trustees and directors of the so-called Women’s Prize to express their concern that a book of this nature written by a natal male was included on the longlist.
The derisory and insulting reply came almost immediately.
The Women’s Prize Trust claims that it is “Legally bound to gender definitions as set out in law”. It just doesn’t seem to know what those definitions are. “The Prize is firmly opposed to any form of discrimination on the basis or race, age, gender identity and all other protected characteristics…” Gender identity is not a legally protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010; gender reassignment and sex are. And how ironic that a so-called women’s prize neglected to include sex on its special list.
The response also stated that the trust “Deplores any attempts to malign or bully the judges or the authors”. As well it should. But neither the judges nor the authors have been bullied or maligned. A group of women have expressed perfectly legitimate concerns over the nature of the book and the sex of its writer but, instead of examining their arguments, the Women’s Prize trustees tried to decry them as bullies and bigots.
And this is the person they are defending so vociferously.
Thursday 8th April - Get He To A Nunnery
VRT NWS: A trans-identified Belgian male is determined to become a nun.
46 year old Eefje Spreuters has been ‘living openly as a woman’ (whatever that means) for 15 months and is now desperate to become a nun. He has eschewed all male religious orders (of course) but has, instead, approached a number of female-only convents in order to pursue his goal. He has been unsuccessful in finding one that will accept him into their order. Seemingly oblivious to women’s boundaries, even those of women in holy orders, Spreuters intends to take his fight for inclusion all the way to the Vatican if necessary.
Elsewhere this week, another trans-identified male provided yet further proof that there really is nothing about women’s lives men won’t fetishize.
Friday 9th April - Acceptance Without Exception (For Pimps & Sex Buyers)
Stonewall has signed a letter opposing the Nordic Model and calling for the full-decriminalisation of prostitution.
Labour MP Diana Johnson proposed an amendment to parliament’s Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill which, if passed, would see a Nordic Model approach to prostitution policy and legislation undertaken in England and Wales.
The Nordic Model criminalises paying for sex whilst decriminalising selling it. Furthermore, it creates offences relating to people who enable or profit from another’s sexual exploitation. In effect, it makes pimps and clients the criminals.
Full Decrim Now describes itself as being led by ‘sex workers’ and campaigns for the full decriminalisation of prostitution. But ‘sex workers’ is a misleading term as it applies to pimps, brothel owners, web-cam operators, pornographers etc (those who usually have far louder voices than the ‘sex workers’ being exploited and abused).
In response to Diana Johnson’s bill, Full Decrim Now has written an open letter pushing its agenda and skewed opinion of the Nordic Model and demanding the full decriminalisation of prostitution.
Stonewall is one of the primary co-signatories of this letter.
Stonewall receives funding from Comic Relief, the National Lottery, the Government Equalities Office, the Scottish government, the Welsh government and NHS Scotland as well as a variety of other charitable sources.
“Charitable trusts, foundations and statutory grants play a vital role in supporting our work towards acceptance without exception for LBGT people.”
Why does this work, funded by the taxpayer and public donations, involve shilling for pimps and johns?
Saturday 10th April - Girls In Irish Schools Denied Single Sex Facilities
Ireland’s Department of Education has decided that all new primary and secondary schools will have mixed sex toilet facilities.
It’s newly published School Design Guide includes plans and illustrations of ‘gender neutral’ bathrooms that have cubicles and sink units in a communal, mixed-sex area.
There is clear evidence from other countries that girls feel unsafe and uncomfortable in mixed sex facilities so try not use them. They risk dehydration and its resultant health issues by not drinking while at school. Furthermore, girls stay at home when they’re menstruating, missing classes and adversely affecting their education.
But who cares about the privacy and dignity of girls when there are all-important gender identity gods to be appeased?
Also Today - Progress In Landmark Case To Protect The Equalities Act 2010
The Equality and Human Rights Commission is a national body set up to promote and enforce the laws that protect people’s right to fairness, respect and dignity. As such, it is an important advisor to policymakers, public bodies and businesses. The Government Equalities Office is responsible for equality legislation and policies relating to women and LGBT people and it works closely with a number of government departments.
However, for years these two bodies, which are supposed to uphold the Equalities Act 2010, have been giving inaccurate information regarding its terms, specifically the exemptions which protect female-only services and spaces.
As a consequence, many businesses and organisations are in breach of the act and the sex-based rights and safeties of women and girls are being compromised.
The Authentic Equity Alliance (AEA) has taken legal action over these misrepresentations of the Equalities Act. The presiding judge has now decided that the case should go straight to a 1-day oral Permissions Hearing to rule on whether or not AEA can proceed to a Judicial Review.
We spoke to Authentic Equity Alliance founder and director, Ann Sinnott, about the case and its importance:
“Women really get the importance of this case. Their comments have inspired me and moved me greatly. Many, while dipping into their pockets again and again, have spoken bitterly about the costs involved and expressed anger about the necessity. And they are right. It’s such a pity because the Equality Act had the potential to be a good law for everyone, including women.
Yet, almost from inception, misguidance from the Equality and Human Rights Commission and the Government Equalities Office engineered contention around single-sex spaces. The law is quite clear, but the guidance, and the language used in the guidance, misstated the law and hence the depth of conflict we have today.
I hope the judge has the insight and clear-sightedness that women have. I hope she/he has sufficient understanding to grasp the gravity of the situation we’re all in. I hope she/he understands the need for the EHRC to be held to account.”

Sunday 11th April - Scottish Concerns Over Gender Reforms
THE SUNDAY TIMES: A survey shows that Scottish people are worried about policies prioritising gender identity over biological sex.
In recent months the Scottish government has passed Hate Crimes legislation which affords more protection to men in drag than actual women and the Gender Representation on Public Boards Act which redefines the word ‘woman’. It also seems determined to press ahead with self ID legislation after the forthcoming election.
However, a Panelbase poll for The Sunday Times demonstrates that these gender reforms are causing widespread concern and there is a demand for more open public debate on the issues.
Feminist campaigner, Lucy Hunter Blackburn, told the paper, “The main message from these results is that the public is being badly let down by the political debate. Only a minority of people in Scotland really believe a person’s sex is irrelevant compared to their identity… Yet most political parties and many public institutions have drifted into a situation where arguing that sometimes sex matters can carry real risks.”
See you next week.
The subjectivity of this;
"A crime or any non-crime incident, which *is perceived by the victim or any other person*, to be motivated by hostility or prejudice based on a person’s gender or perceived gender"
is a very bad thing. We have it in NZ as well.
a cross dresser/AGP goes to local shop and gets 'noticed' by the public and shoppers and he doesnt like it - so makes a complaint that his feelinz have been hurtz..so Police look at cctv and round up everyone who 'looked at him' on the day..RESULT!
