THE DAILY MAIL: A leading neuropsychologist has warned that puberty blockers may lower the IQ of the children who take them.
Sallie Baxendale is Professor of Clinical Neuropsychology at University College London and the Lead Consultant Neuropsychologist on the epilepsy surgery programme at the National Hospital for Neurology. She serves on the Board of Governors for the International Neuropsychological Society and is extremely well-published in her field.
She is calling for urgent research into the impact of puberty blockers on children's brain function, having presented evidence on the ‘detrimental impact’ of these drugs on the IQ levels of the youngsters who take them.
A study which examined 25 girls taking puberty blockers found there was an average drop of seven points in their IQs. One patient experienced a ‘significant loss’ of 15 points. Professor Baxendale said, “Young people and their families are unable to give truly informed consent for these treatments as their doctors cannot tell them what the long-term effects on their cognitive development will be”.

THE DAILY MAIL: Staff working in the women’s sector are subject to bullying and harassment and can risk being sacked if they support female-only services.
This week Sex Matters published a shocking new report, Women’s Services: A Sector Silenced. It details how “Leaders in the women’s sector who advocate for female-only services are routinely subjected to investigations, ostracisation, bullying and employment loss, and have been pressured into adopting policies that compromise women’s welfare and safety”.
Sector leaders working in supposedly female-only services, such as domestic violence refuges and rape crisis centres, have said that trans ideology is being prioritised over the well-being and safety of women.
Trans-identified males are now routinely accommodated in these spaces, meaning that women often choose to self-exclude. The report states, “If services are not single sex, many survivors do not take up the support available… Women leave refuges if they encounter intact males, as it is not safe for them to stay there”.
Staff who speak up in favour of genuinely female-only spaces frequently face bullying and intimidation, can be subject to complaints, investigations and disciplinary procedures, and may even lose their jobs.
The publication of this report coincided with the start of a case at the Edinburgh Employment Tribunal this week. R Adams v Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre is being documented by Tribunal Tweets. (We have also written about this case and its background in a separate piece.) The Claimant, R Adams, was employed by Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre as a counsellor and she is claiming constructive dismissal due to her gender critical beliefs.

BBC NEWS: The Quality Care Commission has approved a private clinic to prescribe cross-sex hormones for ‘transgender’ teenagers.
The Gender Plus Hormone Clinic has just been granted approval by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), England’s health watchdog.
The clinic is part of Gender Plus, a private gender service which has bases in London, Birmingham and Dublin. It describes itself as providing ‘specialist gender assessment’ for ‘children, adolescents and young adults’ and states that “Our practice is guided by WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health) Standards of Care”.
Gender Plus founder and consultant clinician is Dr Aidan ‘he/him’ Kelly about whom we’ve reported in the past. He worked at the Tavistock’s Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) between 2016 and 2021. According to the Gender Plus website, Dr Kelly, a member of WPATH, “Has specialist skills in the assessments of gender identity needs and making recommendations for gender affirming medical treatments”.
The clinic’s CQC approval means it will now be able to prescribe cross-sex hormones to teenagers over the age of sixteen, apparently after as few as just six appointments, only one of which needs to be in person.
Why on earth, you may well ask, did the Care Quality Commission give its approval to this clinic? Perhaps the answer lies with one of its ‘equality partners’.

REDUXX: A trans-identified male recidivist sex offender from Canada served prison time in a female facility and has now been released into the community.
Patrick Pearsall has a criminal record spanning almost two decades. He has been convicted on numerous charges relating to sexual assault by deception with almost all of his victims being underage girls and very young women. Between 1999 and 2000, for example, he was convicted of various sexual offences, including the sexual assault of a 24 year-old homeless woman. In 2008, he sexually assaulted a 21-year-old woman, and in 2015, he abused a vulnerable 17-year-old girl.
In 2015 Pearsall began identifying as trans and calling himself Tara, using his former wife’s name. He also uses the name Passion-Star Royale Pearsall. When interviewed by a forensic psychiatrist, he would subsequently claim that he had ‘identified as female’ since childhood. There is, however, no evidence to substantiate this claim. He has not undergone any surgery.
In 2018, Pearsall was accused of two sexual assaults. According to Canadian journalist, Rosie DiManno, Pearsall attended his trial wearing women’s clothes and make-up. When Pearsall was subsequently convicted of these offences and given a ten year prison sentence, he was incarcerated at the Milton-Vanier Centre for Women.
Pearsall was released from prison in December 2023. He originally applied to be accommodated in a female halfway house but, thankfully, Canada’s National Parole Board deemed him to be too great a threat. “The board believes you would be at high risk to re-offend violently or sexually within women’s correctional institutions”, it said.
The parole board’s statement suggests that Persall was accused of assaulting a female prisoner while accommodated in a women’s prison. “Even within correctional institutions, you have demonstrated a pattern of problematic institutional adjustment, including a recent allegation of sexual assault against a prisoner at [redacted] institution which resulted in your transfer to another institution”. The statement continues, “Without personal change, which you have shown resistance to (most especially in the area of sexual offending), your risk to women and girls remains largely unmitigated”.
Now Pearsall is at large in the community again and, even though he’s been barred from a female halfway house, thanks to Canada’s complete ideological capture and self-ID laws, he is likely to have unfettered access to women’s spaces in the future.

The US Collegiate Water Polo Association will allow trans identified males to compete on female teams and in female events.
The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) has issued its guideline regarding transgender inclusion in its competitions. Trans identified male athletes can compete in the CWPA Women’s Club League. They need to submit a letter confirming their ‘gender identity’ and medical validation confirming testosterone suppression. Despite retaining all the physical and physiological advantages bestowed by their sex, they are then eligible for women’s events.
Furthermore, the policy states that, “Transgender athletes who identify as male may participate in the Co-ed League (commonly referred to as the Men’s League). Transgender athletes who identify as female are eligible to compete in both the Co-ed League and the Women’s League.” That rather sounds like having one’s cake and eating it.

THE SCOTTISH EXPRESS: The Scottish Prison Service is planning to conceal data about the accommodation of trans-identified inmates.
Last week we reported on the new Scottish Prison Service (SPS) policy for the ‘management of transgender prisoners’ which takes effect in February. As part of this new code, the SPS will no longer publish quarterly figures on where trans prisoners are located, claiming that publishing this data risks identifying the inmates involved.
However, “Critics say the change means the SPS is deliberately avoiding legitimate scrutiny of a controversial and inherently dangerous policy… The public will in future be kept in the dark about how many potentially violent trans women – men self-identifying as female – are being allowed to serve time alongside vulnerable women”.
Helen Joyce told the paper, “The Scottish public is outraged at the Scottish Prison Service’s policy of moving men who identify as women into women’s prisons – including men who have committed heinous crimes against women. This looks like an attempt to evade scrutiny for an indefensible policy”.

THE TIMES: The trans-identified male who kidnapped and abused an 11 year old girl is appealing his prison sentence, claiming it was affected by his trans status.
53-year-old Andrew Miller is a former butcher and trans-identified male who used to call himself Amy George. Last year he pleaded guilty to abducting and sexually assaulting an 11-year-old schoolgirl.
On Sunday 5th February 2023 the girl was reported missing in the Scottish borders. She was eventually found at a property in Galashiels the following night and police charged Andrew Miller in connection with her disappearance. In May 2023 Miller pleaded guilty to kidnapping and sexually assaulting her.
The girl, unable to get a bus, was walking home when Miller stopped and offered her a lift. Miller drove the girl to his own house where he held her hostage in his bedroom. Over the course of the next 27 hours he subjected her to a series of sexual assaults and forced her to watch ‘fetish’ pornography. On the second night, Miller finally fell asleep and the courageous girl was able to escape from the bedroom and phone the police from the house landline. When officers arrived, they found Miller still sleeping. He was wearing a bra, silicone breasts, women’s knickers and tights.
Miller was charged with a number of offences including abduction, sexual assault, possession of 242 indecent images of children and intentionally causing a child under the age of 13 to look at a sexual image. He pleaded guilty to all charges against him. Judge Lord Arthurson told Miller that he had admitted ‘abhorrent crimes’ of the utmost ‘deviance and depravity’. Miller was sentenced to a 20-year prison term and will also be supervised for eight years following his release. He has been placed on the sex offenders' register indefinitely.
The court was told that Miller ‘identifies as transgender’ and ‘is in the process of transitioning’. According to an article in The Telegraph, people in his local community, where he had worked as a butcher, believed that Miller had ‘transitioned’ years ago. He was known locally as Amy George, had long hair in a feminine style, wore women’s clothes and had lived in this persona for several years.
However, following his arrest, Miller wished to be known by his male name, not Amy George, and he asked to be referred to with male pronouns. When he appeared remotely in court, he was wearing a Prison Service sweater and his long hair had been replaced by a short crew cut.
Miller is now appealing his supposedly ‘excessive’ sentence, claiming that ‘too much weight’ was placed on his transgender identity, and he is seeking a reduced prison term. Defence advocate, Victoria Dow, told the appeal court in Edinburgh that Miller had ‘lived as a woman’ for many years and that his ‘transgender identity’ had been a factor throughout his life’. She added that, “Too much weight has been attached to that factor”.
But ‘that factor’, ie Miller’s trans identity, was pivotal to the case; the victim told police that she had only accepted his offer of a lift because she thought that the car was being driven by a woman who would pose her no threat.
Appeal judges will now consider Miller’s 20-year custodial sentence. A written decision will be issued.

DAILY MAIL US: A trans-identified male has won a women’s golfing title, putting himself in line for a coveted ‘sponsor exemption’ intended only for female players.
30-year-old Hailey (formerly James Scott) Davidson is a professional golfer who, originally from Scotland, now lives in Florida. After earning a scholarship to play on the male team at Wilmington University, Davidson competed on the men’s tour until 2015 when he started ‘identifying as a woman’ and began taking cross-sex hormones. He underwent ‘gender reassignment’ surgery three years ago.
Davidson now plays golf on the women’s circuit and in May 2022 won his first professional title on the NWGA (National Women’s Golf Association) tour. He is determined to get his hands on a coveted Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) tour card and now seems about to achieve that goal.
This week Davidson won the NXXT Women’s Classic at Mission Inn Resort and Club in Orlando, Florida. His victory is not only unfair, it has particular significance; this year NXXT has partnered with the Epson Tour to award ten exemptions to their top five players. (A golf sponsor exemption is a special invitation from a tour event’s lead sponsor to a non-qualifying player who will be exempt from the competition’s qualifying criteria.) Davidson’s win means he is currently ranked in first place to receive two of the ten sponsor exemptions available. Epson is the qualifying tour for the LPGA, the tour card Davidson has set his sights on.
It seems likely that Davidson will now secure the two sponsor exemptions, have access to the Epson Tour and get hold of the prestigious LPGA tour card he is desperate for, thus robbing a female player of a place on the tour.
All the scientific evidence has demonstrated unequivocally that, even long after transition, trans-identifies males retain numerous physical and physiological advantages over women and any loss of muscle mass and strength is negligible.
Nevertheless, Davidson claims that he has no advantage over the female players against whom he is competing. He dismisses those protesting his inclusion in women’s sport as ‘transphobic’.
NXXT boasted that the Epson sponsor exemptions will facilitate “Unparalleled professional growth opportunities for women golfers”. Not when they’re awarded to males, they won’t.
See you next week.
Another onslaught to get the week started. Thanks JL, i’m not into conspiracy but we have a movement that indoctrinates children online and the solution sold to parents and kids turns out to be the ‘stupid pill’. Could it get anymore dystopian? Well turns out that the answer’s yes because you kept writing and writing! F- sake.
I still encounter the argument ‘if blockers represent the best option for distressed children, its the right thing to use despite the risks’ and…. things like…..
‘well all children’s medical practices and drugs were at some point experimental because you can’t test on kids’.
You say all the obvious things that we think are solid counter arguments, but no, insistence that drugs are the way- for some cases. And what amazes me is i’ve had this conversation with a number of people who are good caring people, who would do anything to help people they see in need. They aren’t activists or cruel or driven by an agenda.
They really really believe that
there is a case for drugging children. And they are nice people. Very very frustrating and shows the effectiveness of the propaganda. Sorry another long rant
This is eugenics. Nobody knows how these drugs will affect children in later life, but all the evidence thus far would appear to suggest that they will have a deleterious effect on physical and mental growth.
That golfer shows yet again that jealous and greedy men want women out of the way so that they can: a) steal their prizes and glory; b) destroy women's sport along the way.
We need Stonewall to be removed from all and every pie in which it has stuck its extremely sticky digits and tentacles.
