There’s so much good news from the gender beat this week, I can’t fit it all in. Enjoy! Leaving Them Kids Alone #1 The best news of the week has to be the cessation of NHS services prescribing puberty blockers to minors. This change will come into effect when the new clinics which are to replace GIDS open later in the year.
The medicalisation of children was what got me into this and it led to fairly major anxiety for me and i’m sure all of us. So when i heard on the radio i flipping cheered with joy.
I hate this gender stuff. I bought a coffee the other day and the young women had this brilliant colourful eye makeup on which looked fantastic. I obviously couldnt compliment her incase she thought i was being a creep but also i’m thinking, oh some of those colours, maybe she’s into the gender stuff etc, and i hate that because before all this i was blissfully un aware and just didn’t judge anyone for anything . And there was another adult who i was talking too after this long run and i thought…. oh this person is now referred to as ‘gender non conforming’ and i hate that because before i just would never had ever considered such a thing. I’ve been poisoned and my perspective has been corrupted by the attempts of some to establish these regressive concepts as real. not sure if i’m making any sense. This second example, i mean what an arsehole for thinking that, i’m quite ashamed actually.
Thanks JL as always. Maybe can we just have only these posts from now on and pretend everything is fine? Also maybe give us some good news about the climate, and A I. I’ll be spending the rest of my life with my head back in the sand.

I was reading a local online news article about a woman who’d committed sexual assault and exposed herself - once upon a time I’d have taken it at face value but nowadays I’m thinking “was that really a trans identifying male”. Visiting a stately home in Devon last month we encountered a young, blue-haired, volunteer guide loafing on a sofa with her back to visitors. She beligerently gave us some info about the room we were in while making some dismissive waves of her arms. She didnt once stand up to talk to us and didn't even turn her head to look at us. A bit rude.
We moved on to the next room and I whispered to my partner "non-binary". He disputed that suggestion saying I couldn't possibly know that.
10 mins later we passed the same volunteer in a corridor, she was wearing a badge with a unisex style name and They/Them pronouns.
Ha! yes the under whatevers. Yes, I really think so. Especially here on TERF Island. While most people support and defend trans people's human rights, I think the populous at large is beginning to see the huge damage caused by gender ideology. I'm afraid it will take a long time to undo the indoctrination of children and teens that has been allowed to spread, unchecked, throughout our schools and universities but I'm very hopeful that the ship is turning around. Of course, things are rather different in Canada and the US etc. But I think once the tsunami of law suits begins, as it will, the powers that be will be running scared. No cult can survive forever, especially not one like this which is (to mix my metaphors) is a house of cards built on sand.
