There’s so much good news from the gender beat this week, I can’t fit it all in. Enjoy!
Leaving Them Kids Alone #1
The best news of the week has to be the cessation of NHS services prescribing puberty blockers to minors. This change will come into effect when the new clinics which are to replace GIDS open later in the year.
An NHS spokesperson made a statement that, “The NHS is now engaging on the proposal that puberty blockers will not be made routinely available outside of research. We will develop a study into the impact of puberty blockers on gender dysphoria in children and young people with early-onset gender dysphoria”.
TERF Island Isn’t Buying It…
According to a new survey, less than a third of Britons believe that trans-identified males should be included in women’s sports, use female toilets and changing rooms, or be permitted to provide female-only intimate care.
A poll conducted by Sex Matters found that over half of the 1,802 people surveyed believed ‘transwomen’ should be excluded from female sports with 43% of respondents agreeing that female-only associations, such as Girlguiding, should be allowed to exclude ‘transwomen’ from joining as volunteers.
(This is a useful survey to send to your MP and remind them this issue is going to be a decider come the next general election!)
Yes, Minister
Health Secretary, Steve Barclay, has hit out at an NHS trust for painting a huge three-sided Pride flag onto a bridge at the Princess Royal University Hospital in Bromley.
A source close to the Health Secretary told The Telegraph, “This Government is investing record funds in the NHS… Taxpayers want to see that cash used for cutting waiting lists and caring for patients, not wasted on virtue-signalling vanity projects”.

Mum of two young girls, Emma Hardy, is taking legal action against David Lloyd Leisure. Her case relates to the company’s policy of allowing club members to use the changing rooms and bathroom facilities in accordance with their ‘gendered appearance’ (whatever that is!), in direct contravention of its ‘family friendly’ promises.
“I hope by taking this action we will send a strong message to anyone sacrificing women and girls’ right to privacy and dignity in the name of ‘Inclusivity.’”
We wish Emma and her legal team the very best of luck with their case.
New Kids On The Block
Check out this great new Twitter account, @terfcalendar, which will help publicise any and all female-only / gender critical events.
Give em a follow and do let them know if you have an event to plug!
Karma’s A Terf
Gregor Murray, is, yet again, in hot water over his language and conduct.
Former SNP councillor and bearded non-binary they/themmer, Gregor Murray, has a long history of yelling at women on the internet.
In the past he was suspended from Dundee council over his abusive behaviour but, it seems, he failed to learn his lesson. This week, the Standards Commission’s Hearing Panel heard that Murray posted a comment on Twitter to a member of the public, saying, “With absolutely no respect whatsoever, get to fuck, TERF”. He also called another member of the public a ‘c*nt’.
The panel found him guilty of breaking the code of conduct. Had Murray still been a elected official it would have recommended a ‘lengthy suspension’, but instead settled with a censure.

Despite previous failure, this week the Louisiana Senate passed a bill that bans transgender medical treatment for minors with a 29-10 vote.
House Bill 648 will prevent Louisiana clinicians from providing so-called ‘gender-affirming care’ - such as puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgery - to children under the age of eighteen.
Sunlight Pours In
Gerald Posner is a highly respected and award-winning investigative journalist and author. Recently his research has centred on the gender industry and he’s just published an op-ed in the Wall St Journal about so-called ‘gender affirming’ medical treatment for minors. His unequivocal conclusion is that it “Borders on child abuse”.
He’ll be publishing a longer article based on his findings next week. The era of ‘no debate’ is over.
Sunak On Sex
Rishi Sunak has indicated that he favours a change to the law to protect single-sex spaces for women, saying that biological sex is ‘fundamentally important’.
Talking about the parliamentary discussion on the Equality Act 2010 this week, Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, said he would consider the proposed changes to clarify the definition of sex. “I’ve been very clear that when it comes to matters like this, biological sex is fundamentally important”, he said.

Great news from Allison Bailey this week. She has been notified by the Employment Appeal Tribunal that her appeal has passed the sift stage and can now proceed to a full hearing.
If this case succeeds on appeal it will mean that Stonewall will have to bear responsibility for its role in causing or inducing unlawful discrimination and victimisation against Allison Bailey and it will create binding legal precedent.
We wish Allison and her legal team the very best of luck with the appeal.
To add to the good news, Tra Terrorism for Toddlers has just been published featuring such classics as -
The tras on the bus go waah waah waah all day long.

The medicalisation of children was what got me into this and it led to fairly major anxiety for me and i’m sure all of us. So when i heard on the radio i flipping cheered with joy.
I hate this gender stuff. I bought a coffee the other day and the young women had this brilliant colourful eye makeup on which looked fantastic. I obviously couldnt compliment her incase she thought i was being a creep but also i’m thinking, oh some of those colours, maybe she’s into the gender stuff etc, and i hate that because before all this i was blissfully un aware and just didn’t judge anyone for anything . And there was another adult who i was talking too after this long run and i thought…. oh this person is now referred to as ‘gender non conforming’ and i hate that because before i just would never had ever considered such a thing. I’ve been poisoned and my perspective has been corrupted by the attempts of some to establish these regressive concepts as real. not sure if i’m making any sense. This second example, i mean what an arsehole for thinking that, i’m quite ashamed actually.
Thanks JL as always. Maybe can we just have only these posts from now on and pretend everything is fine? Also maybe give us some good news about the climate, and A I. I’ll be spending the rest of my life with my head back in the sand.
