Re. Scarfgate 'apology'.

"The action taken was an error”.

‘Error’!

Mealy-mouthed phrase.

Mealy-mouthed apology.

The ‘action taken’ was the inevitable result of the ideological capture of the Scottish government. It was not an 'error'. It was the direct expression of their adherence to the cult of 'gender' and their denial of debate. Regretted only when the public pushback to this egregious 'action' against democracy bit them in their rainbow ass.

Not to mention the passive voice of 'taken'. The action 'taken'. Another avoidance of real responsibility. Also the use of the word 'action'. No real mention of exactly the transgression -- the undemocratic and arbitrary removal of a woman for wearing a purple and green scarf honouring the brave Suffragettes. What they'd really like to do is take away her vote -- that vote so hard fought for by women in the past.

Might you be interested in a gender zeitgeist re-write of Death Star canteen? Death Star toilet!

Lady or Lord Vader: Get out the way, I need to do a number two.

Female only toilet attendant: You’ll need to use the mens.

Vader: Do you know who I am? This is not a game of who the fuck are you. For I am Vader. Darth Vader Lord and/or Lady Vader. I can kill you with a single thought!

toilet attendant: Well, you’ll still need to use the mens.

The End

Wow! There are some good news indeed, thank you. I did read today about the new Lib Dem document, this is really important.

With regard to young women, there is a sea change happening. I'm sure I'm not the only person who watches a lot of YouTube on the woke madness subject and these days, there is a growing amount of young (mainly American) women who discuss how they're distancing themselves from leftie woke ideology.

Terrific statue of Virginia Woolf. I wish sculptor Laury Dizengremel could have done Mary Wollstonecraft rather than Maggi Hambling.

Thank you also for those lovely video clips, the dog and calf are of course adorable but the young presenter and inquisitive baby elephant really made me laugh.

Yes, I love the statue of Woolf. That's how the statue of Mary Wollstonecraft (which makes me cringe whenever I have to walk past it) SHOULD have been done. (So glad the enjoyed the videos!) x

So much to give me hope that the tide may be turning - not least the furious back-peddling of the Lib Dems to comply with the law.

Oh yes. The pendulum is swinging back.

Love the child's letter, out of the mouths of babes and suckling's.

Also in the Hans Christian Anderson tale it was the children who pointed out the Emperor had no clothes. There is hope for the future once we get rid of Queer theory in schools and Uni.

I love the good news updates. We need it! I've added anti-violence blurbs on my blog and YT channel, as a result of what happened in Colorado. The dude with the gun had been arrested over a year ago for threatening his mother with a bomb, so yet another US case of a perpetrator who should have never been out in public or owning firearms. I do fear that our work here will be smeared as provoking violence. It's what they do. RIP those lives lost at a gay bar in Colorado Springs. I fear that the truth of the possible homophobia will not be reported properly in the press. Drag does not equal trans. They used to say that all the time.

But you will notice that the media do not call it a gay bar, it is an LGBTQ nightclub. And Colorado Springs was (and I imagine still is) a hotbed of fundamentalism, so the murderer may have been steeped in homophobic rhetoric.

He had a childhood in Texas though, as I understand it. The complication of a violent father, the bomb threat he made on his mother and other details make it quite complicated. Idk about religious tendencies there.

I'm reading into Neese vs. Becerra. It's fascinating.

Some excerpts from the case:

----------

Dr. Hurly "recognizes that some biological men may identify as women (and vice versa)." In his practice, Dr. Hurly "has encountered situations … when he must insist that a patient acknowledge his biological sex rather than the gender identity that he asserts." Plaintiffs provide an example: Dr. Hurly "once diagnosed a biological male patient with prostate cancer, but the patient refused to accept Dr. Hurly's diagnosis because he identified as a woman and insisted that he could not have a prostate." Dr. Hurly "explain[ed] to this patient that he was indeed a biological man with a prostate, and that he needed to seek urgent medical treatment for his prostate cancer." Plaintiffs claim, "Dr. Hurly has treated transgender patients in the past, and he expects to continue doing so in the future." They allege: "Dr. Hurly is likely to encounter transgender patients who will deny or dispute their need for health care that corresponds to their biological sex, and he intends to provide care to these individuals in a manner consistent with his ethical beliefs."

------------

Does this count as "life-saving transgender care?" If not, why not? The doctor is trying to literally - not figuratively - save the life of a transgender person. In order to do so, he must tell this person the truth - that he has a prostate because he is really a man. The transgender person is in denial about this life-threatening truth. And the law appeared to insist that the doctor must lie to him, and threaten his life in doing so. Not any more; Hurly is now free to follow the hippocratic oath and do no harm. And save a transgender life!

I'm not certain how the female athletes got shoehorned into the same case with the physicians, but it seems to have been opportune. The path for appeal in this case goes from the Northern District of Texas, to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, in Louisana, and potentially to the Supreme Court, but I don't see any likelihood of this ruling being overturned in either place. Out of more than two dozen judges in the Fifth CCA, only four were appointed by Democrats. Each affirmation could only increase the weight of this ruling as precedent.

I'm scraping to find any web references to the impact of this win, though. It looks like people are just ignoring it so far. I'm not sure if schools and colleges that want to offer teams for girls and women will be able to rely on it only within the Fifth District. The only thing that so far seems certain is that doctors within the Fifth District will be allowed to operate in reality.
