Maya and Sex Matters have launched a parliamentary petition 'Update the Equality Act to make clear the characteristic “sex” is biological sex'.
It's rapidly reached the 10,000 signatures that mean the government has to respond. 100,000 means it has to be considered for debate.
Rishi Sunak has been reported as keen to do this so we need to sieze the opportunity.
