Monday 20th September - Women Don’t Matter
BBC Radio Scotland’s morning programme hosted a discussion about the Scottish government’s proposed GRA reforms and self ID legislation.
One of the guests was trans-identified male, Sophie Grace Chappell, a Philosophy professor at the Open University.
From the off, Chappell dismissed women’s safety concerns as ‘fearmongering’.
“On this particular issue of safety concerns raised when gender recognition acts are introduced, so a lot of this looks much more to me like anecdotes than data. It’s not like there’s a body of hard evidence that lots and lots of stuff is happening which is really bad. There’s the odd anecdote.”
Perhaps Chappell has never heard of Karen White or Katie Dolatowski or Jessica Winfield or Tara Desousa or Janiah Monroe or Kristen Lukess or Lisa Hauxwell or Laken McKay or Aliea Rose Brown or Paula Witherspoon or Davina Ayrton or Johanna Wolf or Marie Dean or Rachel Smith or Jessica Brennan or Paris Bregazzi or Chloe Thompson or Rachelle Mikhnevich or Christopher Hanbrook or Marcia Walker or Denen Anderson or Michelle Winter or Melissa Wilson or Barbie Kardashian or Jessica Smith or Kadence Pinder or Beth Hannay or Leah Harvey or Julie Marshall or Sherry Dawn Barrett or Blaine Maney or Amber Thorden or Wolfgang Schmidt or Jorven Seren or Magdala Johannson or Steven Hayes or Jacinta Brooks or Alexander Eshawn Lions or Ashley Winter or Dakota Nieves or Steph Ricciardi or Vicky Green or Ella Davies or Melissa Adis or Madilyn Harks or Jessica Marie Hann or Michelle Martinez or Nicole Summers or Shauna Patricia Smith or Tanner Young or Synthia China Blast or Allison Woolbert or Nur Ahmed or Vyvyenne Ward or Chloe Thompson or Laura McCann or Lisa Jones or Claire Goodier… Perhaps Chappell is unaware that of the 125 trans-identified male prisoners known to be incarcerated in England and Wales, 60 are convicted sex offenders.
“The odd anecdote…”
Chappell then drew an analogy between a trans-identified male requiring certification to be legally recognised as the opposite sex and a gay person requiring certification to be legally recognised as a gay person. (Of course, it’s false equivalence and a meaningless comparison but the presenter did not challenge him.)
“Suppose people were saying ‘Well you know if you make it easier for gay people to be themselves in society there’s going to be a crime wave or dreadful homosexual murders are going to happen, it’s going to be awful if we do that’, I think we’d rightly dismiss that as scaremongering and we’d say ‘No it doesn’t matter, it doesn’t matter’. It wouldn’t matter, actually, if there was a slight spike in those statistics because this isn’t about that kind of issue.”
An increase in the number of women murdered by males (already approximately 2-3 per week) is an acceptable outcome of self-ID legislation?
He said the quiet part loud. “It wouldn’t matter, actually.”
Tuesday 21st September - Hey, Scotland, Leave Them Kids Alone
THE TIMES: Teenage girls in Scotland are being approved for double mastectomies and then being referred to English hospitals.
A freedom of information request has revealed that, over the last six years, 51 trans-identified teenage girls have been approved for double mastectomies in Scotland. These girls, all aged between 16 and 17, have been referred to English hospitals to be further assessed for what trans activists erroneously describe as ‘chest reconstruction surgery’ ie the surgical amputation of healthy breasts.
Another news story from Scotland revealed that a leading charity is lobbying the government to allow children as young as twelve to legally ‘change their gender’, even without their parents’ consent.
The Scottish government plans to lower the age at which teens can legally ‘change gender’ from 18 to 16. However, Edinburgh based charity, Children in Scotland, said that the government should lower the age to twelve to “Ensure that far more children and young people are able to undergo this process.”
That's the same charity who, three years ago, were ‘proud’ to be involved in Stonewall’s ‘Come Out for Trans Equality’ campaign.
There’s no escaping gender woo even for primary aged children in Scotland. A new book, “What Does LGBT+ Mean?” is being donated to Scottish primary schools thanks to funding from ‘private sponsors’. The book is intended to help pupils aged 9 - 11 ‘explore’ the differences between ‘assigned sex and gender’ and teach them how to use ‘inclusive pronouns’.
It is grooming children into a powerful, ideological cult.
Wednesday 22nd September - Cancellation With Menaces
4W: A female artist was attacked and forcibly removed from a party by a trans-identified male and consequently suffered abuse and threats for speaking out about the event on social media.
Aleta Valente is a visual artist from Rio de Janeiro whose work often focuses on issues of feminism and the female experience. "I've always been committed to the material reality of women and anyone who knows my artistic work knows that."
Several weeks ago she attended a party at which she was attacked by a trans-identified male who, although previously unknown to her, threatened her and forced her out of the venue, accusing her of transphobia.
The following day she posted about his situation on her Instagram account; “Accusations of transphobia have become the new way to silence and attack women within leftist spaces. I’m not going to remain silent, you’ve messed with the wrong woman.”
She was subjected to a tsunami of aggression with many comments accusing her of transphobia and threatening her with violence. Conversely, a number of women replied to share similar experiences of being intimidated by trans activists.
Aleta received so many threats of violence, she and her daughter (she is a single mother) were forced to leave their home out of fear for their safety. Furthermore, the gallery currently exhibiting her work is being pressured to ‘cancel’ her.
“I'm not interested in being a part of an artistic scene that remains silent against this and, even worse, endorses such violence. Debate is necessary. Many women are silenced by fear and if women now have to whisper their thoughts, something very wrong is going on.”
Thursday 23rd September - This Never Happens
WOMEN ARE HUMAN: A trans-identified male has been accused of stabbing a 17-year-old girl, leaving her seriously injured.
A 21-year-old male known only as Kima appeared in court in connection with a vicious stabbing in Trenčín, Slovakia.
A 17-year-old girl was stabbed in the back three times and with such force that the knife blade remained embedded between her heart and lungs. She managed to stumble away and was subsequently rushed to hospital by helicopter.
One local news report suggested possible motives for the attack; one is that Kima mistook the girl for someone else and another is that he bore a grudge against her because she refused to give him a sweatshirt.
The arresting officers reported that, when they apprehended Kima, he was about to attack a second woman. In court he pleaded guilty to the stabbing. “I’m guilty, I’m not sorry. Why should I be sorry?”

NEWSLETTER: Northern Ireland’s Department of Education has removed any reference to females from a new campaign to combat period poverty.
The DUP-led department has announced it will spend £2.6m on providing period products to ‘pupils who menstruate’ at primary and secondary schools. It was explained that ‘gender neutral language’ had been chosen because ‘not everyone who menstruates identifies as female’.
According to Newsletter, “The decision was in response to pressure from transgender campaigners, who believe that males and ‘non-binary people’ can also have periods, so it is not ‘inclusive’ to talk about it as a female issue”.
Friday 24th September - Don’t Mention The Gender War
A Green Party researcher in Germany has lost his job after trying to draw attention to the dangers of the party’s self-ID policy.
David Allison is a member of the Germany’s Green Party and was employed as a researcher by one of the party’s MPs. He wanted to draw attention to the shortcomings of the party’s proposed ‘self determination act’ which could allow any man to be legally female simply by saying that he is.
Last month Allison attended the party’s Reutlingen district association general assembly. There he told attendees he wished to run for election to a female seat on the board. (The German Green Party operates a parity system under which males and females have an equal number of seats.)
He addressed the meeting to self-identify as a woman, despite sporting three day’s beard growth, and claimed to be in a lesbian relationship with his ‘cisgendered’ wife. He cited the party’s ‘basic programme’ regulations which dictate that everyone has ‘the exclusive right to define their gender’ and that the word 'women' includes ‘all who define themselves in this way’.
He was permitted to run for election to a women’s seat on the board.
Allison has subsequently been sacked from his job as a Green Party researcher with immediate effect and without any explanation being offered.
Allison said of his action:
“A pure speech act, the simple statement ‘I am a woman’ was enough for those present to make me a woman under party law. It is disturbing that none of the 30-40 members of the Greens present objected to my candidacy. The board approved the candidacy and legitimized me as a 'woman'. Nobody dared to say ‘This is a man’.”
Saturday 25th September - Bodies Without Spines
The Lancet couldn’t bring itself to use the word ‘women’ in a front-page item specifically about menstruation.
The Lancet is probably the world’s oldest and best respected medical journal.
The 25th September edition includes an item called Periods on Display about challenges to the ‘silence, shame, and stigma surrounding menstruation’.
Yet The Lancet couldn’t bring itself to acknowledge that this a specifically female issue, choosing instead to describe women as ‘bodies with vaginas’ on its front cover.
Most female mammals are ‘bodies with vaginas’. This phrase could refer to dogs or giraffes. The irony is breath-taking. In one sentence The Lancet is dehumanising and erasing the very class of people which it acknowledges has been ignored and neglected by the medical profession for centuries.
You will notice that in a Lancet article about prostate cancer published just last week, men still get to be described as men.
Sunday 26th September - Labour Losing Women
THE DAILY MAIL: Keir Starmer told Andrew Marr that it is ‘not right’ to say ‘only women have a cervix.
This week Labour MP, Rosie Duffield, was prevented from attending her own party’s conference out of fears for her safety. She has been subjected to a barrage of abuse and intimidation for speaking up for women’s sex-based rights and for making the statement that only women have a cervix. Labour Leader, Keir Starmer, has not made any public statement to support her or to condemn the violent threats she received.
Appearing on BBC1’s Andrew Marr programme on Sunday, Starmer was asked if someone who believes only women have a cervix should be welcome in the Labour Party. He replied, “We need to have a mature, respectful debate about trans rights”.
The question was about women, not trans rights.
Marr then asked, “Is it transphobic to say only women have a cervix?” to which Starmer replied, “Well, it is something that shouldn’t be said. It is not right”.
A little later in the day, Labour MP and former shadow chancellor, John McDonnell, appeared on Tom Swarbrick’s LBC Radio programme. Having been played the above-mentioned clip of Keir Starmer’s answer to Andrew Marr, he echoed its sentiment.
Swarbrick asked McDonnell if he believes it is transphobic to say that only women have a cervix. He replied, “It depends on the context”. When Swarbrick pressed him and asked if Keir Starmer was wrong to say ‘it shouldn’t be said’. McDonnell replied, “Well, in a certain context it shouldn’t”.
Welcome to the Labour Party, where discussing women’s bodies is transphobic.
See you next week.
Hi everyone! Graham here with a long overdue thanks to JL for delivering these bulletins every week without fail. I thought her first post tonight was particularly fine and I urge everyone to share this page, and tell them that this is the ideology that made Keir Starmer deny science and betray women on today’s Andrew Marr program.
In fact, if people would like to photocopy these bulletins and hand them out at such venues as the school gates, I think that would be a very good thing to do. So if anyone’s waiting for permission for such a thing, permission granted!
Yes, the irony in the Lancet is the failure to recognise that all in the same sentence they have observed the erasure of woman as a political class, and committed erasure of women as a political class.
That really is quite a thing to behold.
There is no such thing as the right to be imprisoned with the opposite sex.
They want women to sacrifice their rights and their safety for something completely imaginary.
