What on earth is the point of a misogyny law which includes the most misogynist men in society? This essentially gives them double protection and women none. As for C4, words fail me. I didn't think it was possible to be worse than the BBC but they have managed it.

Just when you think the tide is turning, we get this. There’s still a long way to go to eradicate this cult. Thankfully Glinner et al are still doing their utmost to shine a light on the perpetrators and we are with them all the way!

I think this was always going to happen, the people responsible for all this bullshit have to show how committed they are to forcing their toxic, filthy ideogy and agenda into aa many spaces as possible. Whilst denigrating the contents of the Cass report, naturally.

Institutions, such as the organisation of physiotherapists and the health authority mentioned are using a model of monitoring and enforcement from the days of the Cultural Revolution. People are being asked to report on colleagues if they don't toe the ideological line, seemingly in their own time not only their employers.

Those who don't want to lie and collude in fantasy are under threat of disaplinary action, perhaps even the loss of their jobs. But THEY in their various guides can't do this to everyone if there is a willingness to resist. At some stage, I hope not too long in the future, the gender authoritarians will no longer have the power and hold they do now, but it needs as much encouragement as possible. Then it will be a joy to see these bastards displaced, more so if they are held to account and punished accordingly. Absolute fucking bastards.

I am so sick of all this….. not your fault JL and thanks for all your hard work. But the gender ideology tentacles are wound so tightly around and through every business and institution everywhere that it’s going to take years to eradicate. Was just reading about a whistleblower from the NSPCC about how captured they are. And despite all the evidence of harm, we still see more and more organisations spewing out their trans policies, forbidding misgendering, talking in gobbledegook as if there was a shred of science or legality to back up any of it. I realise that many people are afraid to speak up, the gender bastards are misogynistic, homophobic bullies. But there are just so many brain dead sheep propping it all up and clapping the claptrap. Do they not have a brain cell between them? Can they not see that this is being pushed by huge money making globalists? ( sorry to malign sheep btw). And now we’ve got the prospect of a Labour govt with gender ideology deep in its bones, whatever lies they might come out with before the election. 🤬

I'm even more worried about Labour than I was before Cass.

Their silence on Cass (apart from Streeting in response to the HoC statement on the review) is pretty ominous.

Dawn 'Babies are Born Without a Sex' Butler should have been hauled before the party whips for using parliamentary privilege to spread misinformation in an attempt to discredit an independent expert review. She should have been forced to issue a public retraction.

The lack of a statement from Starmer is especially worrying. If he wanted to backtrack this was his opportunity to both change direction ("In the light of new evidence...." Etc) and blame the Conservatives. I used to think he was just weak in the face of activists in the party but I'm starting to think he's a true believer.

A small ray of light in the Telegraph tonight.

Shabana Mahmoud, Shadow Justice Secretary has said: “Hashtag movements are sometimes used to shut down debate and often many women have had to go to court, usually in employment tribunals, in order to clarify their rights to free speech.

“To clarify their right to believe that for example because you referenced JK Rowling, clarify their right to say that biological sex is real and is immutable – a position that I also agree with.

“But they shouldn’t be in the position of losing their jobs for having views that are perfectly legal, and that they are perfectly entitled to express.”

Very odd (and good) things happening - have you seen the coverage of Dawn Butler MP and her 'inadvertent' misleading of the house? And she appears to have been talking to Dr Hilary Cass who has apparently been listened to finally.

Labour and other parties must stop instinctively parroting Stonewall law as the actual law and reality, let alone facts, keep biting them in the bum.

Expand full comment

I did see DB.

She'd obviously been hauled over the coals by the party whips and forced to 'educate herself'! And she spoiled the apology straight away by claiming that "anti-trans" groups were "weaponising" Cass and had to be stopped from going off on a rant by the Speaker.

She did drop Stonewall in it and they're busy making more excuses now!

I do think Hilary Cass is a saint though - imagine giving up part of your weekend to explain reality to Butler - especially when you've so carefully given all the explanations in the report anyway!

I was a GMB member - I left in total disgust when they decided to openly embrace their inner misogyny by prioritising fetishists wanting to dismantle my rights.

I joined Labour shortly after because I wanted every communication to start "As a party member..." in the hope they might listen. They don't. I am waiting for a suitably symbolic moment to cut my membership card in half.

I will never vote for them again - I do have words to describe how I feel about the party now but I'll spare you and your readers a very lengthy profanity laden rant.

I am angry beyond belief.

Exactly, I completely agree. Nor have they said that they’d look again at any of their trans policies in the light of new evidence, such as making misgendering a hate crime. Starmer is weak but I think he’s also captured and I think he’ll use the campaign against Cass to quietly drop the report and come to arrangements with trans groups to bring in a watered down Self ID and other policies.

Is it going to take ALL men turning into trans predators before women clue into the fact that trans ideology is misogyny at its most extreme??? When will WOMEN wake up and stop enabling these monsters??? I've already given up expecting the average man to push back and feel enormously grateful when some men do. But this trans predator Juggernaut is fueled by women as much as by men because so many women have allowed their compassion to be weaponized against them. I tried talking to women about all of this and they're dismissive at best. Hostile at worst. It's heartbreaking because I have a granddaughter in her teens having to face a future with all of this going on.

It does break my heart JL, all of it. I heard a Scottish green politician trying to discredit the cass review on radio 4. I was disappointed with the lack of scrutiny from the anchor. He seemed to just have free rein to spout a load of cliches about restricting health care to children without pointing out that he was actually talking about drugging children up. It speaks volumes that these people don’t actually want to say what they really mean out loud. Unforgivable. Thanks though JL.

Oof JL. Thank you, but oof. It's looking more and more like misogyny is now a specially protected characteristic, to be promoted, supported and encouraged and that the Scottish Executive are now pumping out as many 'laws' as they can dream up to enshrine that. It's well-evidenced that it's men like Jack Douglas who are the tiny select group of men that the Scots Executive and swayed minority groups banded together in Parli now fight on behalf of and do this for. And the rest of us look on in shock. And disgust. I am astonished but still saddened and very angry that they bothered to invent another new law to allegedly protect women's rights that includes men. So it's pointless from the start as it is the unhinged, mentally ill, deluded and fetishistic men who seem to have been involved in drafting this. It's for them. It not only won't protect us, women, yes, it gives them added, double protection. Some men can use this additional lawfare to attack women in yet another form.

I would have hoped that someone with a modicum of sense, pragmatism, or legal training might have sat them down and explained how none of their zealous policies-made-law are feasible within a wider legislative framework. So they are attempting to destroy the framework. The fact they dress this new sick men's protection law as a misogyny law is beyond words. Everything now to do with us or our legal rights the SNP/Greens/Labour/Lib Dems now stick on an *and men. And the Tories watch on. So therefore removing our rights by making them again impossible to define. And confusing organisations like the NHS and Universities who seem to be clueless about actual laws. And the total invented nonsense of 'misgendering'. So anyone calling a man who is a rapist 'a man who is a rapist' can be accused of breaking a misogyny law if yet another deluded trans activist wants? WTAF?

I have total, white-hot rage and disgust for Humza Yousaf comparing men who believe they are women to black and disabled women. He or someone in his office actually thought that was a rebuttal to someone on social media? What is he on? Ferring hormones? The noxious fumes of power gone to his head? That man is so out of his depth he and his totalitarian cabal are way beyond out of control now. That comparison is text book vile trans activist. To compare a black or a disabled woman as somehow not a woman, and to be 'protected' just like a trans-identifying man? It's the exact same very hateful and dehumanising statement Jonathan Willoughby has made repeatedly. Is no one sane advising any of them? We see you Humza. You have about the same political nous as the former TV presenter does. He hitched his political career to this and seems totally beyond reason. Please, people of Scotland, don't let this man and his errant activist colleagues anywhere near power again. Use your votes and keep fighting this totally corrupt voting system.

This is a pathetic attempt to smear terfs as unpleasant bigots. No sane person would object to any woman being included in a misogyny law. The problem with including trans is that their interests are opposed to women's interests - for example it's in their interests to get into women's spaces and very much in womans interests to keep then out. For that reason the new law will be useless.

We have a situation where almost no expert is willing to be or have their work in public and in more than one country. Women are not safe in many environments. We are not free to speak openly in real life or online. I read the statement that Hilary Cass made on how she has been advised to not use public transport. I read it a few times. Of course that's the advice. How entirely predictable. And the laughable suggestion that she would be willing to be involved in any adult services review. And face having her life destroyed by insane and dedicated trans activist zealots like so many have been? The constant stream of abuse, personal attacks, threats and lies. I have attended a few events in person to see for myself what it's like. It's been more chilling than I could describe. I didn't recognise the country or society I grew up in, where violent activists are allowed to take control of the streets and we are 'advised' to hide at home for our own 'safety'.

This is a terrorist issue and I am expecting the UK Government and all constituent parts to begin to start to maybe think about possibly addressing it, not wilt like fluffy toy rabbits in headlights, then blame us.

Thanks as ever for your hard work in bringing us all this, JL.

I think Cass combined with the WPATH files have won the science argument ( I know how annoying this is since many people including your good self, Glinner, Kellie-Jay and many others have been telling it as it is for years). It is almost hilarious watching the gender borg now trying to argue with her ( something they are not very good at doing having previously preferred insults and threats - obviously they are also still employing insults and threats as well). But the ideologues are deeply entrenched throughout institutions and organisations. I agree with what Andrew Doyle said in his interview with Winston Marshall that we should just ignore or go around the ideologues. We need to target those in positions of power which can be done by debate and discussion but sometimes by court action and I think such actions will increase. Effectively the myth of the trans kid is dispelled. The AGPs and transvestite fetishists relied on 'the trans kid' to validate their mythical ideology. The desperation of Robin Moira White on Free Speech Nation ( totally demolished in a separate piece by Clive Simpson) shows what position they are in. So it is going to be a long, long struggle but I think we are heading in the right direction. Is this perhaps the Normandy Landings? Or is it winning the Battle of Britain? I'm looking for an analogy.

OK I need to get back into my Spitfire because I'm doing an update tonight 😊

“LGBT Youth Scotland” is a doubly damned title.

First, the now customary sly insertion of the “T” which is the cuckoo term that takes over the whole. Thus “LGBT” translates into “transgender” alone i.e. the negation of all sexuality which is now being replaced by sheer narcissism ever ready to morph into violence.

Second, the oozing of this pernicious “T” into the youthful demographic. It is the children who are specifically targeted. Note the considerable number of Primary Schools involved. The very process of puberty is under attack.

That “LGBTYS is advising teachers not to inform parents if their child identifies as trans and/or is socially transitioning at school” is significant. I was recently arguing with a twitter entity who was practically gloating over the capture of young minds “freed from parental influence” and openly jeering, “Are you afraid that these kids are now free make up their own minds?” As if! These kids are being continuously molded by the relentless trans propaganda around them. And this twitter entity knows this well. The insinuation is, “We have your children now!”

“That would be all well and good were it not for the CSP definition of ‘transphobia’ which is woolly, open-ended and includes adherence to sex realism. “Defining specific discrimination, including transphobia, is complex because discrimination is expressed and experienced in many ways”, it says. “There is no definitive list of transphobic behaviours but it includes, for example, the questioning of a transgender person's gender identity.””

The trans blather has become so insidious that even those opposing it seem to succumb to contradictions. Or .... at least that’s the way I read the above. I would have thought that “sex realism” is simply the screamingly obvious observation that sex is basic and immutable (and attempts to change sex inevitably fail and lead to mutilation of the original). Therefore surely the CSP definition of ‘transphobia’ cannot be “woolly, open-ended AND includes ADHERENCE to sex realism?”

In any case, I note that the word “gender” has now effectively been erased from the English language. Sundered from sex, it is now meaningless – as demonstrated by this colossal turd:

https://www.medicinenet.com/what_are_the_72_other_genders/article.htm

Yes, there are apparently 72 genders (not including male and female!). Note the fancy names given to them. Here is a sample with the definitions:

“Agender: A person who does not identify themselves with or experience any gender. Agender people are also called null-gender, genderless, gendervoid, or neutral gender.

Abimegender: Associated with being profound, deep, and infinite. The term abimegender may be used alone or in combination with other genders.

Adamas gender: A gender that is indefinable or indomitable. People identifying with this gender refuse to be categorized in any particular gender identity.

Aerogender: Also called evaisgender, this gender identity changes according to one’s surroundings.

Aesthetigender: Also called aesthetgender, it is a type of gender identity derived from aesthetics.

Affectugender: This is based on the person’s mood swings or fluctuations.”

“Being profound”, “indefinable or indomitable” (note the implied but non-existent link between those two), “derived from aesthetics”? “changes according to one’s surroundings” “based on the person’s mood swings or fluctuations”

The last one seems to get to the true matter i.e. “gender” is simply a passing mood.

And at this point I wondered if this web page was a parody. But these days it’s hard to tell the difference between sincerity and parody.

This conceptual rabbit hole has led to some interesting exchanges on twitter – something like the following:

THEM: “Transgender people just want to be allowed to exist!”

ME: “What does that mean?”

THEM: “Being free to express their gender! DUH!” (Rolls eyes as if it’s the obvious thing in the world!)

ME: “What does that mean?”

THEM: .... eyes continue to roll....

And the whole thing collapses into a void. Which is what it all came out of in the first place.

Thanks for the medicinenet link; I've just had a quick perusal. I notice that the 72 gender options are listed in alphabetical order. The final four, nos. 69-72, are listed as follows as:

69. Girlflux: The individual identifies themselves as a female but with varying intensities of female identities.

70. Healgender: A gender identity that gives the person peace, calm, and positivity.

71. Mirrorgender: Changing one's gender type based on the people surrounding.

72. Omnigender: Having or experiencing all genders.

It’s as if the compilers got to “H”, after hours of tedious, hair-splitting, mindless and brain-draining debate, thought “fuck this for a lark, there’s more to life than trying to define this shite! Let’s… erm… reconvene next week.” but when they did they couldn’t be arsed having collectively lost the will to live.

Oh, and the usual thanks to JL for having to dredge the river of sludge to bring these horror stories to my attention every week. priceless imho.

Do you remember colour changing things - like t-shirts or jewellery? Like 'emotion' rings. This is like someone basing an entire multi-trillion industry on it. I remember it was a craze in the 90s. Girls (yes usually) would hold my hand and pretend to be able to read my emotions from cheap rings, or by rubbing the top of them in mysterious ways, closing their eyes really hard, or looking into the far distance. When you jumped around, your t-shirt would change colour especially around the armpits. It was hilarious as in Chemistry lessons the teacher would be trying to teach us about what heat does in chemical reactions. I sat there hoping I would be polite enough to get as far away as possible from those who really, truly 'believed' they really, really, really 'worked'. Nice fun idea, cheap jewellery and clothing, but they actually believed it. This is just the same but involves lopping your bits off and destroying your life. It's a fashion, a trend, a phase, a money-making opportunity that malevolent evil shits used to take advantage of generations of kids and only Oppenheimer would know how to describe.

On the topic of “Won’t somebody think of the children?”:

If the new groomerocracy is getting their hands on children as young as four, then it is incumbent on us to muse on how this will work out given the worst case scenario in which the “paedophication” of education is permitted to continue.

For we are talking about future generations. Imagine a generation taught from an early age – well before puberty (which they may not be allowed to experience anyway) – that their “gender” is fluid, the word “gender” being deprived of any specific meaning but, despite all protestations to the contrary, clearly linked with SEX. Girls will inevitably deviate from becoming fully functional women and may even not become functional women at all.

Of course the very idea of “fully functional women” will bring howls of rage from the “radical” “liberated” gender merchants. They will cry “Women are not your chattel slaves!” But this cry will eventuate in women who CANNOT function as mothers.

The boys meanwhile will also deviate from becoming fully functional men. But here there is indeed a difference in the sexes insofar as I can see from recent news. I may be wrong but it seems that there is a far greater tendency towards violence from males than females. And I think that the trans operation has led to a whole new breed of “incels” i.e. those “involuntary celibates” i.e. those bitter and twisted sexless loners with no social skills and who cannot form healthy sexual relationships. The trans theology has graced these figures with an unprecedented legally verified access to vulnerable women and even a “free pass” to any amount of psychopathic behaviour that they can deal out to those women. Witness the recent attack in the cafeteria of Pennbrook Middle School in North Wales, Montgomery County where the media unaccountably cannot bring themselves to mention that the curiously permitted attack was carried out by a trans identified 13 year old male.

Thus we have a preview of the future: the destruction of sex, no less.

Some stats and info from the UK's Office of National Statistics (ONS), from info supplied by the police, judicial system and Crime Survey of England & Wales:

99% of sex offenders are male.

88% of victims are female.

Male pattern violence does not change with transition.

Less than 2% of all male prisoners are convicted sex offenders.

Over 50% of trans-identified male prisoners are convicted sex offenders.

2% of rapes reported to the police result in prosecution.

Less than 50% of all rapes are reported to the police: as the (88% female) victims think they will not be believed, and that they would be treated as the offender, rather than the victim, in court.

Hence only 1% of all rapes are successfully prosecuted: rape has effectively been legalised.
