Watched an interaction of a couple of trans ppl with regular folks who couldn’t wrap their head around it. These ppl were insistent that the medical ppl had told them they changed their sex. The doctor said that I’m female now - one stated. If medical professionals are telling ppl these lies what the fuck is going to happen when they realise they aren’t?

The more you learn about trans activists the more you realize how much they lie, which is pretty much about everything. They are profoundly disconnected from reality and just tailor their perceptions to meet their desires.

Expand full comment

Yes. And really worrying is the wider structural lies and liars.

The whole clinical structure around this has been cementing sometimes a brief, temporary or connected but unrelated underlying dysphoria or trauma and sausage factory pushing it to being this. Confirming a suggestion from online forums and social networks. Instant, immediate, total affirmation and encouragement from doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors, GPs, seemingly the whole of the NHS, the entire civil service, social workers, educators and so many charities filled with a host of quasi but usually non-professional hoaxsters. Those that others have said are involved in 'transing' their own kids so are determined to 'trans' others to satisfy their own need for validation. Or those in banking and business that fund MPs to stand up and relentlessly push this.

I await the admission from all these membership bodies and supposed regulatory bodies that this is exact the situation and their own role in it. Without their support and forced delivery of this it wouldn't have spread and damaged like it did and is still doing. It is their input that needs to be scrutinised. I don't want to see senior people skulking away and retiring to get out of being held to account either.

I just can’t believe that adults are having to have this ‘debate’ at all! That guy from stonewall. i’ll enjoy that in the bath later.

I just can’t believe the whole gender lobbying group wasn’t told to f off when people learnt about the medicalisation of CHILDREN! FFS FFS FFS FFS.

Thanks JL, i made the mistake of reading yesterday’s post before bed. Not a good idea. Rosie was on today radio 4, she sounded hopefully about labours u turn- if thats what it is, lets see.

Honestly what a lot of energy being wasted on these stupid men. And the people they are willing to mutilate and lie too to get what they want. Shame on them and the gutless bystanders.

I hope/pray that when the law is spelt out to all the kids dragged into this, they’ll be turned off by the whole ideology when they realise that legally it won’t change anything.

I wish more people in the public eye were challenging how bloody insulting and regressive it is to ‘gender’ activity. So offensive. It’s offensive and pathetic. The man with Rosie today was a trans identifying man. On what grounds can he claim to be a woman apart from possessing an untreated mental illness. That sounds harsh. But sorry it’s what i believe. And i don’t wish him any harm or unhappiness. But if he’s supporting the idea that children can be in the wrong body, well we all agree on this. Back to the washing up. A woman’s job i’ve been told by countless wankers.

You're washing up and last night I put up a shelf in the hall cupboard. Perhaps you and I are non-binary, CB...? 😉

I've said before that, according to the troons, I'm not a man. I get the children up, feed them, dress them, do my daughter's hair, do the shopping, vacuuming, laundry, washing up, etc ad nauseam. However, I'm also the handyman/person, IT expert, gardener, decorator, dustbin-putter-outer (😉)... Apparently I should be claiming some bizarre "identity" because of this!

You sound like a prince among men, Jeremy! (I don't do IT - technology hates me - but I tinker with the car, do most of the DIY and decorating and watch a lot of rugby. However, I also love baking and I do all the ironing... I guess I'm gender fluid?!)

I wouldn't go so far as to say that - I do what needs doing. I felt a bit guilty about posting my original because it sounded like I was bragging, which wasn't the intention at all.

No you don't sound like you're bragging at all! I just think you're deserving of a compliment - as all wonderful parents are, male or female! Hardest and most important job in the world! x

That's made me cry Jeremy. In a good way of course. I vividly remember my dad being in the changing room at ballet, when I was about 6. My mum was ill, so not with me. With all the other mums staring at me, at him, not talking to him, and the other little girls also staring with a sort of fear and pity. That frostiness to him made me feel very protective of him, and how he was trying to lift one side of my hair up and back, without dropping the other side, then managing to hold that and dropping the other side. I think it was some kind of complicated French braid, then wafts of hairspray to hold it in place. Same thing at swimming where he had to hover awkwardly outside the changing room and that made me realise a few things too. Enjoy your day all of you :-)

Oh, I never intended that to happen! Sorry 🙏 🙏

When I started taking the children to parent and toddler groups, it took a certain amount of fortitude to keep going for the first few weeks. I know male presence in an otherwise female group disturbs the dynamic, and I felt sorry for doing that, but I was finally accepted to a greater or lesser degree. I don't know if word got round after a while, but two or three other dads started coming, too. My daughter doesn't want to do classes typically filled with girls, preferring martial arts and ice-skating, both of which have both parents on transport duties, so I don't have to face the ballet-class mums (yet?) 😁

Expand full comment

No need for sorry at all - it's a memory of something good in the end. I do wish we could all be a bit more honest about all of it, recognise it, and still keep that open communication. Which spaces really don't need to be single-sex and which do. That would surely help us all as individuals and families and with the loads and joys we carry. Most of my friends were boys when I was a kid as I liked to run around and did a lot of sports - I honestly think things have changed for the better as my ballet and ice-skating was several decades ago now! I think this is all why I've been so shocked and angry at new generations suddenly having to absorb some really antediluvian gendered stereotypes whilst perversely also completely denying our sexed realities - the worst of both man made worlds. How did being kind, caring, strong and compassionate even become sexed or gendered? Those apply to men and women.

Watched the whole 49 minutes of Ian Anderson.

Cringe. Never heard so much waffle in my life. You could have reduced his total contribution to 3 minutes narrative without changing the meaning. He hasn’t got a leg to stand on and he knows it. He just wants “ everyone to be fulfilled” apparently, presumably that means men pretending to be women getting all their own way, which conversely means telling women who object just to do as they are told and shut up. I wouldn’t feel fulfilled under those unequal circumstances. He was very patronising toward Beth, those weird grins before he “mansplained” some difficult concept to her. Such as trans women must be allowed to play in women’s sport so they can participate fully in society and sport. To be fulfilled of course. “Are they to be excluded from sport?” he whined. No you chump. They can compete in the men’s division. Nothing stopping them. Except they won’t win so much of course. 🤔 And there we have it. Men’s fulfilment much more important than women’s fulfilment. Did I mention that he mentioned fulfilment. A lot.

Expand full comment

Well said - it's not the winning that counts for those men, it's the men winning over women. Otherwise they'd compete against other men. And lose.

The Dreyfuss takeoff was funny, but watching Anderson was just plain weird. All those weird mouth pursings and the bobbing head leave me wondering what psychoactive drugs he is taking.

Expand full comment

It was hard work, like watching a brain cell pinballing around his head trying to come up with reasons aka excuses on the spot. Plainly squirming. Like he never thought he'd ever have to justify any of this. Which of course he hasn't had to - up til now he's been riding the very empty wave of activism - just lots of people nodding and smiling with the occasional tipped head and soothing furrowed brow and nodding to indicate how sympathetic they are.

Simple, honest questions and the glare of that sunlight was too much. Beth Rigby asked some devastating questions during the pandemic here - then patiently asked again and again. When our betters were running around like headless chickens and laughing about it. She's been brilliant.

Iain Anderson’s views summed up:

‘I want everyone to feel included and fulfilled; I think everyone is entitled to request the care they feel comfortable with - except women who don’t believe men can be women.’

Oh my goodness. That interview that Beth Rigby did. Who knew she was a TERF. Bloody brilliant. All that squirming and rocking, and did anyone else notice how that idiot would scrunch up his nose every now and then like a mummy talking to a toddler about how to be a good little person?? The best bit was the enormous image of William Thomas next to the rightful winners. It stayed up for ages and still the worm wasn't able to give a definitive, truthful answer. The only thing Beth missed was when she didn't point out that trans identified people are not banned from participating in sports at all.

I honestly didn’t think she was great , she could have really went for the jugular

Considering this is the first mainstream interview if its kind, that I'm aware of, I do think she did well, maintaining a professional attitude throughout. That picture said it all in the end. That man tied himself in knots and this could not have been imagined even a year ago. I hope Beth's courage in doing this interview will result in other TV journalists finding their voice.

The detransitioners are the best weapon in this fight. It's good to see so many coming out now.

Megyn Kelly is terrific! I don't agree with everything she says but she's pretty sharp.

The Rubin Report (presented by Dave Rubin, a gay conservative) has a great clip on Jordan Peterson talking to Bill Maher (a Democrat who has seen the light re the trans madness) and, as with Megyn, we might not agree on all his views but he's fully on our side here.

Love the Cockney Start Trek.
