Dear God. How much worse do things need to get for women before the people who are, allegedly, running the country start to acknowledge this obscene war on women and children ? This is worse than ANYTHING I've ever heard of during my 75 years on this planet and it's terrifying as well as appalling !! The people who promote and support this have to be the most evil "people" in the world . They must be barely human to agree with this !! It's getting harder and harder to believe they're getting away with this totally abhorrent agenda !! God help us πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™ πŸ˜πŸ’” Thanks ,JL. Hope you'll have some good news for us soon β™₯️x

What an awful week it's been. I feel gutted for women in the US. These men truly do just think of women as incubators and menstruators.

But best of luck to Ritchie Herron - that's a lawsuit to watch, I hope the first of many.

Yes, poor Ritchie. He deserves restitution. And some peace. My heart goes out to the women and girls of America. I hope the fight this with all their might.

I cried all week. My beloved pet rat choked to death on a piece of almond, after I’d nursed him back to health from a respiratory infection, and was so happy he was all right. Then the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade and the Democrats effectively repealed Title IX on its anniversary the very next day.

I’m considering leaving the country.

I'm so very sorry to hear about your pet rat, Morrigan. What a lovely life he must have had with you, though. As for the rest, do not despair. We women have had to fight for our rights and autonomy since forever and it has never been easy. But we fight on. I know the feminists of America will not let this stand. And your sisters in the UK with be with you shoulder to shoulder. Take care xx

Like Julie Bindel, we will step up to help with legal costs if he needs them. A really expensive legal settlement is the only way to stop the NHS spending (taxpayers!) money on the destruction of bodies and minds

Yes. I think it will have to be a few. It's odd how crowdfunding is now covering so many gaps. We have the barristers striking and still some seem to be under the false - and created - impression that they are the 'fat cats'. The amount of forums and high-level meetings in the NHS about the amount that is spent on covering up and denying mistakes but if the cultural change they keep discussing actually happened that might go some way to making that happen.

When people can listen and act before sanctions and fines then things go better. For everyone. Stop relying on whistleblowers to give the veneer of self-managing your system; act before that.

Reading the reports on how 'errors' and 'oversights' happen they are disturbingly similar. Failure to follow recommendations and little teams merrily carrying on for decades refusing oversight or accountability. Shutting down dissent. Lying and covering up. Oh we just don't have the data. It's the TRA playbook too. The wrong people being held to account for things outside their control and being set up to fail while enough others look away.

When Stonewall 'left' the BBC there was always a backup plan - they have done their job and they left quite happily knowing it was completely culted anyway - like when they leave or get told to in civil service etc - they knew they would get found out but their work is done anyway.

Isn’t the Scottish government just ghastly, led by Nicola Sturgeon (β€œmy pronouns are she and her”) who dismisses women’s concerns about gender woo-woo as β€œnot valid? Supported by the Scottish Greens (which has a subsidiary known as the Rainbow Greens, full of weirdos and pervs), they’re doing all they can to pass a self-id bill that will remove Scottish women’s rights to single sex spaces. And to think she once said she was β€œa feminist to my fingertips”. I have another word for her that begins with an β€˜f’ and rhymes with mucker!

Sigh.. the poor young chap suing the NHS, his story is remarkably similar to the young man I know currently undergoing "transition"(I have commented on him here before). The mental health issues, repressed sexuality, OCD, meeting older people online, paying privately for treatment he can't afford How many more of them are there?

Ah yes, I remember you mentioning him. This pernicious ideology is mangling lives and bodies. I do hope the young man you know can find his way out unscathed.

The groups of trans activists seem to fit a template - three different locations - Stoke, Nottingham and Barcelona - but always a few men dressed in suggestive clothing or underwear, strutting around, worshipped by vulnerable-looking, gender non-conforming women. Why is the woman topless in the demo at Barcelona for goodness sake?

Soren's experience is not unique. She chose to have a damaging surgery and I am very sorry for what she went through and is going through. But all of us need to be aware of surgeons and their widespread incompetence. They do the surgery, take the money home in a wheelbarrow, and then they can't be bothered. Both my mother and I had surgeries after which the surgeons immediately went on vacation. Thankfully, the one who butchered me is probably dead because if he wasn't I would happily kill him.
