Wow! And there it all is....the violence, the hatred, the sinister misogyny...

Send this to anyone you know who is still wobbling about which 'side' to support.

Never, in my life, have I felt as threatened, as I do now, purely because I'm a woman. My Darlin' Dad, who referred to all women as 'ladies', who loved them, showed nothing but courtesy towards us all, did NOT go to war in 1939 to fight for this Woman-Hating world, where those who truly are 'fascists/bigots' are behaving like Nazis, forcing people to go along with their vile indoctrination of children, of young people, wanting to force us ALL to lie, to go along with their Agenda Of Delusion & Madness, by threatening people's jobs/reputations/families/friends. These evil people desperate to remove all safeguarding of children, remove parental-power, get the young to hate their parents/grandparents, filling their minds with The Agenda, as Mao did, way back when...

My Dad, on HItler: "Sometimes, Sweetheart, some things are *so* evil that you *cannot* turn away. You *have* to make a stand."

This is what Graham has done, and I respect him, and all those who help him, you especially, JL, hugely.

Thank you for ALL that your doing in defending and protecting women and children. Iti means so very much and reminds me, post after post, that The Good Men & Women True WILL win this war, WILL make this evil recede, and bring Truth and Safety back.

Much love xxx

AMEN to that .

Thank you for continuing to document this misogyny and hatred against women. I just signed the declaration regardless so 🖕🏽

Well done. Probably just empty threats to discourage people from signing it

I haven't read the whole article yet, but the 'active database' of women signatories might just be illegal under GDPR/DPA 2018. Lisa Mullins has better have a good understanding of his legal basis for processing that data...

Yes, I'm sure you're right, Dave. I saw a couple of people respond to KM & LM on that thread pointing this out. But, of course, they weren't interested.

It would be amazing and unexpected if Data Protection law was what did for that ridiculous movement!

Keir's silence makes me feel viscerally angry. I think every female Labour MP and all female members who arent transed should be walking out at his speech.

Absolutely ,it they have any backbone at all !

Such a coward of a man. Too scared to stand up to the people in his own party who hate women. And interested only in his own position. A total embarrassment. I won't be voting Labour again unless this is sorted out.

Wide spread coverage on the MMA story.

“Change your name, call yourself a woman… but you’re still a fu****g man, get out of women’s MMA, coward,” Strickland* wrote on his Instagram story. “This is why the athletic commission is useless.”

Welcome to 2021, where we've "progressed" to the point where we allow biological males to punch the crud out of women on stage:

PIERS MORGAN: It made me sick to watch a once-male special forces combat veteran beat up a woman on TV - it’s time to stop this trans sport insanity before women start being killed

Good to see the coverage but Piers, women are already being killed and the coverage is in his own paper. Is this what's peaked him to VAWG? It's the same old, same old. Just in a pink wig and glitter.

One for next week:

Start with:

"I want my medical records changed to say I am not a woman"

Now says:

"I want my medical records changed to say I am a woman"

I'm reminded of Cool Hand Luke:

"What's your dirt doin' in Boss Kean's ditch?"

Thanks for this. I'm going to see how many eggs I can eat.

Yes we all know how amendments to medical notes go. They can only be amended, not changed, or overruled, which is how errors become part of the NHS spine. Who has that authority and on what basis? You can only 'correct' these in further notes. And that relies on those further notes being authorised and accepted, transferred over, integrated, copied over each time, or even read and acted upon accurately. It's a mess, as much of 'NHS' data is, and this is only adding to it.

I frequently have had letters addressed to 'Mr', to incorrect names and addresses, or copied to the wrong GP. Information 'lost'. Birth date of 01 January 1900 appearing in the NHS app. I kept trying to correct these, pointing out how sloppy this was, especially for the NHS, and what were they up to with confidential records and information? Know your patient? Oh it's all outsourced. I was then accused of not being 'entitled' to care and that was fun to try to sort out - their records department had outsourced everything and wrote letters denying many people access to care. As part of a foreign patient 'drive'. Telling me I needed to bring my passport or birth certificate to the outpatients department of the hospital I was born in. 'NHS' writing threatening letters that caused repeated distress. No one in departments having the authority or knowing how to correct this.

Yet this has been waved through with little thought to the consequences? How did that happen Stonewall?

FOI to how that policy happened?

Wonder who'll get the blame for all this confusion ? The trans will probably try to pin it on the GC people. They project all their crimes and lies on to us anyway.Obvious signs of personality disorders and delusional thinking !!

Politicians and public officials like Sturgeon have got to be receiving money for their stance. There is no way they believe this horseshit. They aren't stupid: They are being paid.

YES, YES, and YES!!!!! And for a long time I've thought it might be worthwhile to hire a private detective to follow such people and to look into their finances. Maybe it's just because I live in the U.S., but it's ALWAYS about $$$$$.

The usual vitriol and evil acts we've come to expect from transactivists and their supporters !! I signed the WHRC declaration ,so if they want to come after me ,a 74 year old woman ,bring it on !! Too many people have been scared into silence on this subject already . I'm not one of them !! That statement by the " head of sex crimes unit " takes your breath away . Just no words strong enough to describe how angry that makes me feel . All these lies ,threats etc by the other side is completely abhorrent in any civilised society but is very obviously condoned by the authorities. Speaks volumes about the type of people who are running our country ,including our public services !!

I'm relatively easy to find though when we were a safe house for victims of DV no one could find us! I'm seriously thinking about getting a handgun; my large, noisy dogs scare most people away but some of these TAs are seemingly psychotic, the sort of people who try to mug a cop in uniform (this happened in NYC).

It's absolutely chilling, all of it.

The one thing that keeps me hopeful that attitudes in left and centre-left parties will change their positions is that I and many other lefties, who previously accepted the gender extremist rhetoric even when we started to realise it didn't add up, have changed our positions. Five years ago I would have insisted that trans-identifying men are women and that there was no conflict between genderists' demands and women's rights. It was reading the material shared by left-wing feminist friends who are gender critical that changed my views - initially to try and understand why such lovely women were being so negative and prejudiced about poor oppressed trans women and with a view to "educating" them, eventually realising that the GC arguments were the only ones that made sense.

The story about the missing boy reminds me of a post I saw last year on FB about a missing woman which referred to her as "they" and "them". A commenter expressed understandable confusion about the phrase "they were last seen ...", asking whether the OP knew who the missing woman was with, whether she knew this person or these people, was there a description of them that might help locate her, how many other people were there? She got piled on for not recognising the sacred non binary pronouns instead of thanked for pointing out how confusing the message was. We still don't know if the missing woman was last seen in company with anyone else or disappeared on her own, which is kind of crucial information.

But you were open to education! My experience of people is that their very identity (that word again!) is tied to their beliefs, no matter how extreme or hilarious, and other beliefs threaten their very selves. I find it very sad but it is also paving humanity's path to extinction.

Expand full comment

That's not quite true in my case, at least not consciously - at the time I "knew" I was right about trans women being the most vulnerable oppressed minority that ever minoritied, but I wanted to be able to educate them. I knew these women whom I cared about weren't bigots - they're anti-racist, anti-fascist, support LGB rights etc - but I was convinced they were wrong on this one issue. About a year prior, a radfem had a go at me on someone else's FB post for using "cis". She was right, I now see, but at the time I dismissed her as one of those horrible terves. I wasn't open to anything she said.

A big part of it is that being an "ally" and "progressive" has become something one identifies as, rather than principles you live by or something that you do.

Expand full comment

I think you are absolutely right about identifying as inclusive, rather than living by seriously considered principles and ethics. The latter takes work!

Plus this poor disappeared and lost 'woman': This is a ploy to get their pix in the media. It's a vanity exercise, living as a woman, blah blah. Po' diddums is sitting in front of telly somewhere relishing every moment.

I'm not so sure, how could we know. I think that young man has many issues, and maybe they do need some attention. But this will now make him even less safe.

I am frankly astonished that the Police aren't under some safeguarding and obligation to correctly report on him and his actual and protected characterstics - those that may enable him to be found, not just talked about. They have now created this confusion in the general public? Who is it we're keeping an eye out for? They're disappearing him too, and making it even more likely none of us will trust the Police or appeals for information.

Expand full comment

Oh sorry. I'm not a nice feminist, being kind, giving them the benefit of the doubt. Yes, let's worry about his issues. Get him some attention. Oh dear, now he won't be safe?

Expand full comment

No need for sarcasm. I'm not being kind, I'm being realistic and pragmatic. If he is at risk, the Police or anyone playing about pussyfooting over his pronouns won't help him. No one can tell what his motivations are, least of us commenting here, reading news reports.

We will all be safer when the Police and other Stonewalled institutions stop doing this and indulging people. It is a distraction.

Expand full comment

He was/is at risk. Later tweets emerged that placed him with an older furry who appeared to have groomed him online. This is a 16 year old boy, who under UK law would still be unable to drive, drink or vote. Someone's son.

Not good. That's what so much of this is, vulnerable children and adults being groomed online. I'm not sure why people are denying this or looking the other way.

And this 'don't tell your parents they won't understand' theme that seems to appear a lot, even in advice in schools, is directly contrary to safeguarding.
