Monday 6th September - Respecting A Rapists Preferred Pronouns
THE TIMES: Scottish authorities are being urged to record the sex of suspected rapists according to reality, not their self-declared gender identity.
It is ridiculous that any male suspected of a sexually violent crime could have his sex recorded as female because of his self-professed ‘gender identity’.
Yet it has proved necessary to lobby Police Scotland, the Crown Office and the Scottish Court Service in an effort to prevent this very thing from happening. Academic think tank, Murray Blackburn Mackenzie, is urging Holyrood to “Accurately record the sex of people charged or convicted of rape or attempted rape” with a petition containing more than 12,000 signatures.
Alice Sullivan, professor of sociology at University College London, wrote a submission in support of this action. “Crime statistics do not exist to affirm the identities of the perpetrators of crime. The accuracy of such statistics is vital, both as a foundation for data analysis, and to ensure that public trust is not undermined.”
Only last month it was revealed that the number of sex-based crimes being reported in Scotland is at a six-year high. The number of reported rapes has increased by over a third. All the more reason, you’d expect, for the authorities to keep meticulous records regarding offenders.
However, Detective Superintendent Fil Capaldi, head of Police Scotland’s sexual crime unit, told The Times, “The sex/gender identification of individuals will be based on how they present or how they self-declare, which is consistent with the values of the organisation.”
Tuesday 7th September - Tail Wags Dog
Essex Police issued an alert about a vulnerable 16-year-old who went missing from home several days earlier.
The teenager is referred to as ‘Maya’ and described with female pronouns.
Similarly, when media outlets picked up on the story, ‘Maya’ was consistently described as a girl and she/her pronouns were used, such as in this piece in My London and a similar article in The Bishop’s Stortford Independent.
What they all fail to mention is that ‘Maya’ is male and called William.
According to certain reports, William had ‘come out’ as trans only hours before going missing and was last seen wearing a skirt and a wig. So the papers and even the police ignored the truth and reported that a missing boy is a girl called Maya.
When did ideology become more important than the safety of a vulnerable teenager?
Wednesday 8th September - Leave Them Kids Alone
THE CRITIC: The medicalisation of gender non-conforming children is a clinical disaster to rival the Thalidomide tragedy and ‘maiming a generation’.
Hundreds of gender non-conforming children seeking help from the NHS Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) have been prescribed puberty blockers and put on a pathway towards major surgery and cross-sex hormones.
For at least the past five years, numerous staff members - including senior clinicians and social workers - have tried to raise urgent concerns about the treatment of these vulnerable patients. But instead of the warnings being heeded and acted upon, they were ignored, even actively buried, and the whistle-blowers vilified for speaking up.
Children continued to be pushed down a medical pathway, cheered on their way by Mermaids, Stonewall et al.
“We have no doubt that the medicalisation of GNC young people over the last decade is the biggest medical scandal of our time, perhaps of all time. It is robbing thousands of children of their fertility and future sexual function, while a host of other serious side effects are only just now beginning to emerge.”
Thursday 9th September - Feminist To Her Fingertips?
THE HERALD SCOTLAND: Nicola Sturgeon has been accused of silencing debate around self ID legislation.
Scotland’s SNP-Green coalition government is to rush through GRA reform. Under the proposals, anyone could alter their legal sex without medical evidence or diagnosis after just three months of ‘living in their new gender’ (whatever that means).
This week Nicola Sturgeon demonstrated her contempt for the feminists who oppose the proposed legislation. When interviewed by BBC Scotland, she described their concerns over women’s rights and safety as ‘not valid’.
During a debate in Holyrood, Conservative MSP Murdo Fraser mentioned that he’d attended the demonstration at Holyrood the previous week and spoke to the protestors there. Sturgeon shouted “Shame on you!” at him from across the chamber.
Shame on Fraser for attending a democratic demonstration of public opinion and listening to the concerns of the electorate?
It looks like plans are afoot to prevent those who oppose government policy from exercising their democratic right of protest. The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body is seeking authority from the UK Home Office to allow Police Scotland to remove demonstrators from outside Holyrood. It is a sort-of-tribute to the women who recently protested at Holyrood that their voices are seen as the ones that need to be silenced.
Also Today - Definitely Not A Cult, Though
One of the most vociferous trans activists on Twitter, Katy Montgomerie, is collating and sharing information about the women who have signed the Women's Human Rights Campaign Declaration on Women’s Sex Based Rights. Reasons unknown.
Of course, Joss Prior just had to dive on this opportunity to vent his particular brand of women-hatred.
The WHRC issued a statement to assure signatories that there has been no breach of its database.
“We do not know why these people have been keeping track of our signatories or what they plan to do with the meagre information they have collected. We do know that people, especially women, expressing support for gender-critical positions are continually threatened, harassed and abused by supporters of gender ideology.”
Friday 10th September - ‘External Body’ Dictates Primary School Bathroom Policy
THE DAILY MAIL: A primary school made its toilets ‘gender neutral’ under the influence of an unnamed outside organisation.
Moredon Primary School in Wiltshire made its previously single-sex bathrooms ‘gender neutral’ without informing parents. The school did not make any modifications to the existing facilities so the open urinals remained in use in toilets accessed by little girls.
Furious parents were outraged by the loss of pupils’ privacy and safety and demanded the original facilities be restored.
The school’s headteacher, Anna Wilcox, made a statement in which she admitted, “The school was challenged by an external body about the toilet facilities and making sure they were inclusive for all groups of children.”
Which ‘external body’ might that be?
Saturday 11th September - This Is Male Violence
THE MIRROR: A trans-identified male has won his debut MMA fight by choking his female opponent.
Alana McLaughlin is a 38-year-old former sergeant in the US Army Special Forces.
He now ‘identifies as a woman’, transitioned five years ago and has just begun a new career in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighting. In the women’s division, of course.
To absolutely nobody’s surprise, he won his debut match by overpowering his opponent, Celine Provost, with a ‘rear-naked choke’.
This situation is not unprecedented. Trans-identified male, Fallon Fox, also late of the US military, took up women’s MMA fighting post-transition. In March 2013 he took just 39 seconds to defeat Ericka Newsome, whacking her in the face with this kneecap and rendering her unconscious. She never fought professionally again.
A year later, Fox crushed Tamika Brents' skull in a fight which lasted less than three minutes. Fox landed a blow to Brents' face which broke her eye socket, caused a concussion and ended her career.
Last year Fox attacked JK Rowling when she spoke up about women’s rights and safety. This is what he tweeted into a thread about children's art to a woman who has suffered male violence.
McLaughlin talked about Fox prior to his debut fight this week. “I want to pick up the mantle that Fallon put down. Right now, I’m following in Fallon’s footsteps. I’m just another step along the way and it’s my great hope that there are more to follow behind me.”
This is male violence against women wrapped in a rainbow flag. This man’s demand for validation is so great, he will happily beat up a women to obtain it. Shame on this dangerous narcissist but more so all the people who have enabled and cheered him on.
Sunday 12th September - Right Side Of History
Male violence was also in evidence in France this weekend. A trans-identified male with a lit flare attacked a group of lesbians celebrating their same-sex attraction.
In the footage of the Bordeaux Pride parade, the male can clearly be seen rushing the group as they marched, brandishing a smoking flare.
But mis-gendering is literal violence?
Also Today- Witch Burning In Westminster
THE SPECTATOR: Rosie Duffield is going to miss the forthcoming Labour Party conference amid concerns about her personal safety.
Last year the Labour MP for Canterbury and Whitstable, Rosie Duffield, was vilified by members of her her own party for making what should be the wholly uncontentious statement that only women have cervixes. She was smeared as ‘transphobic’ in a vitriolic attack and received online abuse and death threats.
She fell foul of Labour’s gender fundamentalists and suffered another barrage of abuse again a few months ago after ‘liking’ a tweet by gay rap star, Kurtis, who objected to the colonisation of the word ‘queer’.
Earlier this week, Kent Online, a local newspaper in Rosie Duffield’s constituency, published an article about conservative city councillor, Ben Fitter-Harding.
In the course of the article, Fitter-Harding made a vitriolic attack on Rosie Duffield, accusing her of ‘liking transphobic tweets’, of inflicting pain on the LGBTQ+ community and of attempting to stand in the way of its progress.
Rosie Duffield responded with a powerful Twitter thread refuting Fitter-Harding’s spurious allegations and making her position perfectly clear. “Erasure of women's views, voices, and work in the community is why feminism is now more important than ever and misogyny such as this is growing. We must always speak up.”
But speaking up for women’s rights has serious consequences and now it seems that Rosie Duffield will have to forego this year’s Labour Party conference due to concerns about her personal safety. According to The Mail Online, the concern surrounds ‘certain parts of the party’.
A female MP is being prevented from participating in her own party’s conference due to harassment and intimidation from those within it. Keir Starmer should be tearing down walls over this situation yet his continued silence is deafening.
We stand with you against the violent misogynists, Rosie. What a shame your party leader won’t.
