So much good news from the gender beat this week, this edition is bursting at the seams. Enjoy! The Long Arm Of The Law The new HM Chief Inspector of Constabulary doesn’t seem keen on police upholding gender woo as law. Andy Cooke, who took over the role last month, said that chief constables should remember there is a clear distinction between what is and is not a crime. “
The Bill Maher clip is the most uplifting thing I’ve seen for ages. He hits the trickery-wokery nail right on the head.
The Piers Morgan one simply demonstrates that these lunatics not only don’t have any answers, but also that they had no idea what was coming when they decided to take on women.
I haven't managed to find any coverage of the behaviour of the trans rights extremists at the Pankhurst statue in Manchester either on the local BBC channel or in the Manchester Evening News. If anyone did see or hear anything, please could you flag it up. I'm gobsmacked that they ignored it (I know I shouldn't be. but really!). And Woman's Hour?
Wondering if the timing of Maher's monologue had anything to do with the Gervais Netflix show? Might we see a small rush now of comedians insisting the emperor was always in the buff?
I will add another piece to this delightful selection.
There was a debate in the House of Commons in response to a petition signed by 140,000 people calling for "non-binary" to become a recognised category. Nick Fletcher, Miriam Cates and Tim Loughton politely but firmly rejected the proposal and took the opportunity to draw attention to many of the drawbacks of Gender Identity Ideology. Mr Fletcher started by calling on parents to give "tough love": support but not submission to the offsprings' beliefs. It was fantastic to read so much common sense. https://www.theyworkforyou.com/whall/?id=2022-05-23a.1.0&s=Gender+Recognition+Act+2004#g1.2
It's so uplifting to read this after lots of unpleasant news. Particularly, women being abused in Manchester, and a young women being bullied out of her school by her indoctrinated peers and the cowardly staff. There's still plenty of things happening to anger and horrify, but so much of that took place without significant opposition or even awareness.
That's not going to happen again, people are going to continue looking and realise that this isn't some 'fringe thing' that has nothing to do with them. Or that a 'live and let live' attitude means fuck all here. So many of the people responsible are very much not the kind who 'just want to get on with their lives', they want power and dominance. It's not about gender dysphoria, it's about misogyny.
Can't wait for these bastards to be crushed under the weight of their own hatred.
I had to ask a friend who Bill Maher was for context of that SUPERB piece. Was told “It’s the US equivalent of Jonathan Ross doing that on an ITV talk show at 9pm on a Saturday night - but of course, Jonathan never would.”

That's a whole heap of good news, thanks very much JL :-)
The quarter wit interviewed by P Morgan is simply amazeballs. Gender identity extremism is going to eat itself!

A pretty good week, thank you. Sajid Javid, good man, looks like he's now got the ear of No. 10 on sex-based rights.
Thanks JL - that's a cracking collection of stories. Rationalism is gradually making its way back.

How glorious! Thank you for sharing so much good news for women. Dare I say, the tide is turning?
This was one of the best good news updates so far, jam-packed with optimistic goodness.
Thanks, JL.
(And I'm stealing 'milkybar militia'.)
I’ve just skimmed through as I’m on a deadline (will return to later) but thank you thank you thank you for this epistle of joy JL! Xxx
