So much good news from the gender beat this week, this edition is bursting at the seams. Enjoy!
The Long Arm Of The Law
The new HM Chief Inspector of Constabulary doesn’t seem keen on police upholding gender woo as law.
Andy Cooke, who took over the role last month, said that chief constables should remember there is a clear distinction between what is and is not a crime. “We’re not the thought police, we follow legislation and we follow the law, simple as that.”
Working For Us Whilst Against Us
No wonder trans activists are so determined not to debate!
This is what happened when the petulant ‘Jane’ appeared on Piers Morgan’s TV programme to talk about the Standing For Women event in Manchester. He had nothing more coherent to offer than sulking, swearing and insults. Give him his own show and let him peak the nation!
Sunday’s event in Manchester got plenty of coverage elsewhere in the media, with much focus on the thuggery and aggression of the milky bar militia trans activists.
The Daily Mail covered JK Rowling’s support of the feminists in attendance and her mocking of the masked protestors.
One of the articles contains an interview with Aleks Kovacevic, the woman attacked in the scuffle, and quotes Kellie-Jay Keen. “In 2022 nothing could encapsulate the assault on women's rights so perfectly as masked men preventing women from speaking next to the Pankhurst statue.”
Aleks Kovacevic was interviewed on GB News.
Suzanne Moore wrote about the ‘Black Pampers’ in The Telegraph.
“One side is waving suffrage flags and singing, the other side is in balaclavas and using nooses. The horrible truth is that the gimps in masks believe themselves to be ‘progressive’ rather than cowardly anonymous misogynists. Hide your faces as much as you like. We see you.”
The Telegraph also described the incident in which Aleks Kovacevic was attacked in another article.
A Level Playing Field
Henry McMaster, Governor of South Carolina, has signed into a law a bill that will prevent trans-identified males from competing in female sports in colleges and state-run schools.
He’s Just A Skater Boy
Solidarity and huge respect to professional female skateboarder, Taylor Silverman, who spoke out about having to compete against trans-identified males on social media this week. She said she is ‘done being silent’.
Kudos to Tim Pool, YouTuber and podcast host, for stepping up to the plate and offering remuneration to the female skaters who lost out.
Keir Meets The Women Who Won’t Wheesht
Members of Labour Women’s Declaration sought out party leader, Keir Starmer, at the Labour Women’s Network gala. He agreed to speak with them on the issue of women’s sex-based rights. Watch this space…
On the other side of The House, Sajid Javid, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, was unequivocal that “Biological sex matters… Facts matter”.
Uncancelliamus!
The New York Post reported on JK Rowling being ‘uncancelled’ by David Zaslav, the new boss at Warner Bros. Discovery. According to The Wall Street Journal, Zaslav is already meeting with Rowling to discuss new Harry Potter projects.
Not only news to gladden the heart but the tone of Kyle Smith’s NYP article is a joy! Phrases such as “Rowling, known for holding such extremist views as ‘women are a different thing from men” and “Although most of Rowling’s antagonists appeared to be either spotty 14-year-olds or adjunct professors of gender studies” can’t help but raise a smile.
As he so rightly says, “Presumably, we’ll be getting some new Rowling/Potter content. Hurrah! The Prisoner of Wokezkaban is free.” Hurrah, indeed.
Top Of The Bill
There was yet more encouraging news from the US when comedian and host of HBO’s Real Time, Bill Maher, performed a blistering 10-minute monologue, challenged the validity of gender identity ideology and particularly the ‘transing’ of children.
“We’re literally experimenting on children… It’s a blow being struck in the culture wars using children as cannon fodder.”
For The Reading List
Andrew Doyle’s new book, The New Puritans, is out in September. Meanwhile, you can pre-order a copy here.
The Bill Maher clip is the most uplifting thing I’ve seen for ages. He hits the trickery-wokery nail right on the head.
The Piers Morgan one simply demonstrates that these lunatics not only don’t have any answers, but also that they had no idea what was coming when they decided to take on women.
I haven't managed to find any coverage of the behaviour of the trans rights extremists at the Pankhurst statue in Manchester either on the local BBC channel or in the Manchester Evening News. If anyone did see or hear anything, please could you flag it up. I'm gobsmacked that they ignored it (I know I shouldn't be. but really!). And Woman's Hour?
