Whenever I read these catalogues of horror, I’m reminded of a Helen Joyce interview where she remembers being told by a psychiatric nurse ( I think), that you should never affirm a delusion or you lose control of the ward. Well the west has completely lost control of the ward. We are officially living in a nuthouse. The trouble is that most of the population hasn’t really noticed yet and if they don’t notice soon, it’s going to be too late. It already is too late for many children and the women who’ve been harmed by these vile predators. But then I keep forgetting, these men take precedence. How unkind of me to be so bigoted.

As regards aggressive protests by tras, the evidence which shows that puberty blockers halt brain development must surely explain at least some of their infantile behaviour and demands. They’ve never grown up and are still at the tantrum stage.

Many thanks as ever JL.

Love that 'losing control of the ward' analogy, TT. And thank you for your kind words.

It does exactly. This is beginning to filter through to general public awareness now but the medical professions are still too slow, dragging their feet and many are totally culturally captured (like the person at the end of the article). We are creating more and more deliberate brain damage. Ask any of the charities (like Headway) or anyone with a passing interest in brain development and injury about that. This is beyond scandalous. Brain injury links those who perpetrate and those who are victims of crime. Look at how many women in jails have brain injury and acquired injury as a result of abuse at the hands of their partners. The impact of drug and alcohol abuse and poverty. And the violent and psychotic behaviours that are passing for normal and are accepted with alarming shrugs. And we've rocket-propelled this. We are making people unhinged, we are increasing hormonally-driven and psychiatric pathologies, we are traumatising people, then standing back in horror as some try to mitigate let alone stop it.

And I am furious that the police's ignorant but usual response is, well stay at home, don't go out, shut it down or don't attend 'for your own safety'.

And the criminal lack of reporting by the MSM, in particular the BBC , has enabled it all to spread unchecked.

Yes. I can't cancel my licence as I did years ago as stopped watching any TV. But I have been tempted to begin, then cancel it, with each new totally corrupt and illegal manoeuvre the inept fools stumble into.

I spoke to someone in journalism a few days ago. I mentioned Substack. Total disinterest. I suggested they took a look and recommended it - it takes seconds to have a quick look. That did unnerve me - they are nice and comfortable and show little interest in how people are now communicating, learning and how the Fourth and Fifth Estates are now.

That is the. goal - imprison women in their homes. Isolate and torture. Terrorism is the method of forcing women out of the public domain.

Expand full comment

Yes. I am still astonished and struggle to accept it in 2024 though! I have been describing this as terrorism for a while as it fulfils the formal criteria but as usual women are dismissed as silly and exaggerating or mean and nasty.

I feel like Sherlock when I say this, but that is the end result of all this and it is looking more and more like the only logical answer, having discounted other theories and evidence - they say their goal is some vague 'rights' issue but it's always our specific and enshrined rights and spaces that are compromised, fought over and taken. And our right to be, and to be safe and go about our lives in genuine safety, not their spurious claims that to be restricted in their harassment and abuse makes them ‘feel unsafe’. And the police act far too late and with a false equivalence that the aggressors have the 'right' to continue, so they portray this as us needing to stay nice and safe at home. Which isn't safe for many as they know too. I have met at a University for a women's rights and liberation conference and been verbally attacked on the way in as it was staked out and disrupted by the same few activists. One we all recognised that has a previous very violent criminal history and was in prison. Then he was rearrested eventually some months after having continued making threats in the streets and whipping up others for his 'cause'. But he was allowed to escalate under the guise of 'trans rights' and the indolence of the police. It was private University security that protected us at that event, and incredibly well, but someone was still physically assaulted.

I hadn't grown up knowing that level of fear from just being a woman going about my business during the day. I mitigated male violence and thought I knew how to in riskier contexts, like at night, and I always ameliorated it by my behaviour (and changing and restricting my life), it's never up to them to alter their behaviour is it. I grew up knowing I had to protect myself and literally fight back if needed, but this is us at work and 'normal' lives. Just meeting in a room and talking sends these psychos into fits of rage. That's what allowing this ideology to gain so much ground has led to.

Dear friends, I’m distraught. I’ve just come back from a mammogram at a breast unit. There really is a trans genocide. I take back everything I’ve ever said. 😫

The truly scary thing is that due to the halt in their brain maturation, they never will grow up in the universally understood manor. As they continue to age chronologically, the advanced areas of cognitive thought will be forever fossilized in a prepubertal state.

Thanks as ever, JL, for your hard work.

So in Scotland GC people stating biological facts or expressing lawful beliefs ( Forstater v CGD and many other cases since) may possibly be accused of a hate crime while in London a professional conference requires police protection!! As ever the TRAs do not present arguments but try and shut us all up.

If the police take prosecutions under the Scottish Act there will I think be a big counter claim arguing that the act itself or certain parts of it are in breach of the Human Rights Act namely article 9 ( freedom of thought, conscience and religion) and article 10 ( freedom of expression). Bring it on! Let's get this heap of junk act to the Supreme Court and hopefully all prosecutions should be put on hold in the meantime. That's my hope in any event.

It needs challenging before an incoming Labour government brings in a similar piece of legislation to cover all of the UK.

Thanks again

Egg on faces time but they deny that too. It's an unworkable mess, and I'm concerned about what their attempts will be to 'make' it work. There are so many departments and teams dedicated to the legislative process within and alongside governments and yet this happens - the incoherent nature, implications and clearly intended 'unintended' consequences are so well laid out from these pointless new laws. And the non-crime-not-hate-non-1984-honest-guv crappy legislation that is a blot on the statute books. That ties up Parliamentary time to deliberately stop other more urgent issues being addressed. All logically detailed in that letter FFS!! If he, one MSP, could put that letter together, with that evidence, what are their legal teams up to? The police are beyond reasonable behaviour now as they appear to ignore and invent 'policy' on the hoof, then withdraw it, then apply it anyway maybe. Nice and reassuring.

And there is case law, so how are they so unhinged they are still all pushing this. When in doubt don't lazily invent a new law, they are often covered by pre-existing legislation and apparently that's all forgotten by the Executives and their merry bunch of 'advisors'. Then it's kicked about by the legal world as some kind of nice intellectual exercise, meanwhile back at the ranch all hell has broken loose.

Absolutely Dusty. We need emergency action before the election.

I had my naive belief in 'the law' shaken out of me working in it. Who cares until you can get to court and many instances never get that far. The activists are deliberately targeting the head of the UK civil service SEEN network as expected. Hard to read that. The TRAs are motivated, incredibly well-resourced and determined in a psychotic way, in all departments and arms' length bodies, all using their famous playbook. Tie us up in red tape, make us fight, raise funds, distract, kick into the long grass and take so long we are worn down as we navigate the legal processes we are forced to engage in. All to be expected but so totally depressing at how captured our civil service is. All these internal squabbles totally distract from the service element. I know fewer and fewer who are sticking it out as it's barmy and damaging for all those who just want to get on with what jobs are supposed to be. It'll be 98% whistleblowers soon which is a cacophony.

The more the dangers of gender ideology on children are exposed, the worse the TRA activism becomes. To have one of them, a children's TV presenter, deliberately causing trouble says it all. You keep thinking this is the beginning of the end of all this nonsense, and yet ...............................

About the prisoners who "had sex" according to the headline... A Dept of Corrections official told National Review that "they get in less trouble if BOTH of them say it was consensual" [my emphasis].

Gee it's almost like they want to disincentivize Women from reporting rapes as much as possible.

Is the new Scottish Hate Crime Law a hate crime in and of itself? Discuss.

This is pursuing a Dennis Kavanagh argument he brought forward re 'conversion therapy'. So A refuses to accept B's transgender identity and gets accused of a hate crime. But A is gender critical ( protected under Equality Act - Forstater) and doesn't believe in gender identity. How can A be guilty of refusing to acknowledge something that A doesn't believe in!!?? Discuss 😊

It's clear that there is nothing that can be revealed however damaging that can stop this nonsense in its tracks.if the WPATH files weren't enough what would be? Was at a Reform meeting on Sunday where they explained this is all part of the globalist agenda which both Tories and labour support. We need to get rid of them both.
