I try to remind myself, when I see influential women who should be protecting our rights actually siding instead with gender identity ideology, that the movement has been very clever in its stealth and appropriation.

I genuinely believe that for most people, their default is to be kind and not hurt others, and that's how so many liberal-minded folks got ensnared. They've been conditioned to think that questioning the mantras is violence, it's mean, trans people will DIE if you don't chant TWAW, etc. It really is like Stockholm syndrome, they're sympathising with their "captors".

The number of supposedly intelligent women who've been taken in by this guff can be disheartening. But the tide is slowly turning, big players are walking away from Stonewall, more women are speaking up, gathering courage from heroes like Maya, JK Rowling, Marion Millar, Graham of course 😁, Magdalen Berns, and so many others.

Conversely it's why so many men haven't been snared by the con; our default position is cynicism and definitely not kindness.

It's who we are 😉

Ditto older women, Tony. We're so over being kind.

I cannot argue with the statement that it isn't kind. But I have to have hope that people can learn to see sense and be less easily persuaded by emotional blackmail that IS gender ideology. I would use the word lazy rather than stupid. There is hope! I hope. 😁

I think it's time for the M. Berns society or the Forstarter or the anyone who actually gives a fuck about women.

Yes, even here in the US, big feminist organizations like NOW (the National Organization for Women) have jumped on the trans wagon. They are completely betraying women. But this is an opportunity--let the fire take the old wood so there will be new, green growth!

Planned Parenthood as well.

The most astonishing admission in this piece is somebody "likes and respects" Hazarika. I can't find one redeeming feature in the woman; it's little surprise she's sprinted headlong on to the trans bandwagon.

I recall an episode of Politics Live (née Daily Politics) where she attempted to take Dr Jordan Peterson - the canary in the gender coalmine - to task. He didn't need to leave second gear to obliterate her viewpoint 😁

Anyone who tries to take Dr Peterson to task usually ends up looking extremely foolish. He's far too intelligent

I've been reading the fawcett web page on the assumption they're supposed to be fighting for something or other tangible that trans women are seeking, which has but them in a difficult position. I can't find anything -https://www.fawcettsociety.org.uk/about

Trans women would have been allowed to vote in 1866 when Fawcett created a pettion for women to be allowed the right.

Cross dressers like Eddie Izzard do not have to fight for equal pay.

Biological males don't need further representation in politics.

Challenging gender sterotypes would assure girls they do not need surgery or medication to express their identity

Their purported values read like satire in light of their cowardice on this:

"Dynamic, bold, spirited, pioneering. Respected, practical credible. Engaging, plain speaking, approachable."
