I was intrigued by what Arty said about Maugham running a potential grift. Frivolous litigation like this does nothing to assuage this concern. Accounts for Good Law Project Limited posted on 30 April 2021 - (Company number 10556197) show that between 2020 and 2021:
Income increased £2.2m from £693k to £2.9M (322%)
Cash balance increased £1.1m from £785k to £1.9m (150%)
Wages have increased £72k from £500 (for 2 staff) to £73k (for 6 staff)
Premises costs increased £31k from £1.7k to £33k (1840%)
"Consultancy" costs total £71k in the last 2 years
Total administrative expenses have increased £56k from £93k to £150k (60%)
Total operating surplus has increased £1m from £131k to £1.1m (770%)
I'm no accountant, just a curious listener to The Mess We're In, but a forensic investigation by somebody qualified to comment on these matters would be fascinating. Are people who donate getting good value when hopeless appeals like this are what gets funded?

It all encourages bitchiness in one doesn’t it? Unless it’s made up of pedophiles and abusers and sex offenders...cough ....or has clearly commercial aims for the likes of ...say...big pharma....cough cough...or demonstrates anti social and damaging or grooming to vulnerable citizens idealogy and activities say like children...COUGHING FIT....then a charity shouldn’t be put through a year or any of this. Proven “Groomers & Gaslighters and sons Inc” are the ones who should lose their charity status. Their are some big names and affiliates in that line up.
