We wrote to these providers to let them know we have offered advocacy services to women having difficulty finding the services they need on a female-only basis, including women on their waiting lists. We told them we have not managed to help all the women who contacted us - some were still too scared that they would be considered transphobic for even asking for support on a female-only basis, & this potentiality while seeking support & vulnerable was just too unbearable for them.
Yes this is another competely unfunded org like For Women in Scotland doing vital work. they did incredible briefing notes for women to use with the Self ID consultation which is probably why the Scottish Government will not publish the responses.
A related note: The television program Shetland Season 3 episode 5 has a very good segment on rape. It was written by a woman. The program overall is terrific, if you can stream it, do: but their handling of rape was thoughtful and hit all the right spots. I've never seen the topic handled so well. Warning, of course. It may put you back where you don't want to go, again. As it did for me.
We're all considered to be transphobic anyway ,simply by being born female !! Pregnancy ,childbirth ,vagina and uterus etc are all classed as transphobic by these warped individuals who seek to destroy women ,so maybe we need to state our views honestly and unequivocally . Publish and be damned ,as the saying goes ! Transwomen are men !!

I think we can all guess the types that work at Twitter.
Why not, if possible, just have a separate Trans Women's Aid (it could be a division of the same charity but at a different location)?
They have Lesbian/Gay things like that (they're not forced to use the heterosexual ones). Although it depends on the size of the town/city.
