Thank you for standing up for women and vulnerable people. Please try to influence your colleagues in Scotland. We are being badly let down by our government

Excellent letter Zoe. Thank you for being brave, principled and for standing up to these bullies.

That’s tremendous. Kudos Zoe Hatch.

Excellent letter. So sorry you had to write it - so sorry you could not effect any change from the inside (been there). It's right to walk away from an abusive relationship

Just seen via Mumsnet: Emma Bateman suspended from the Green Party for refusing to bend the knee:https://mobile.twitter.com/EmmaBatemanGPW/status/1489607775005155333

Not sure how many culty things they have to do before one concludes they very strongly resemble a cult.

Her Twitter is a strange mix of comments to her and mainly trans identifying men and other green party activist men attacking her or those in support. There are a few male profiles (one with antifa etc in their profile) mocking and being schoolboy snarky and gloating to every other comment. Why? What are they hoping to get from this? It's not adding or informing. One who's set up an alternate, 'nicer' social network piling in too. This is the party who encouraged and promoted Challenor and not much seems to have changed.

There's no room for women at all? And you must conform to 'be nice'? Why does Caroline Lucas keep allowing this?

What a huge disappointment Lucas has turned out to be. I don't get it.

I realise she isn't the leader now, but she was capable of holding her own and wasn't full of woo. She can argue her side of a debate and is still who many associate with the party. She has 'mum' in her Twitter profile.

Why is it that you scratch the surface of so many green 'activists' and it's fairly cruel and nasty yet they accuse everyone else of hate? I too just don't get it. There's a party machinery and I'm not sure what they hope to achieve. The activists are still throwing around the word genocide and that people don't want them to exist. Oh we know this all exists. Stop with the genocide comparisons as it's gross. Maybe there can be a green party visit to a museum and have someone sit down and explain history, not their 'alternative real history'.

this was only a matter of time - she came to the Reformers tree on Sunday - anyone female left in the Green party are either dumb or transmaids

That's shameful. Not sure whether to resign in protest now, or wait until after the conference (could at least get some damage-limitation in by voting).

They absolutely won't care. Labour didn't.

The name Green Party seems irrelevant now. Maybe the Groom Party better reflects their drift into nonsense?

I don't know what your Green Party in the U.K. is like, but here in the U.S. in a "liberal" state it never recognized the existence of class. It often seemed to be a bunch of people living on unearned income with very little political consciousness.. One woman actually suggested we need to have a test one has to take before voting! Shades of what was done in the South to black voters, something she seemed completely unaware of, and she was old enough to know.

After voting for Bill Clinton in my first presidential election (1992), I joined the Greens in order to help build the party up and get it going. I left in 2007 and have been independent since then. The management (I refuse to call it “leadership”) of these parties is corporate, and out of touch with most of America and the rest of the world, for that matter. I’m thinking of checking out the People’s Party, but I assume they’re infected with the GI stuff too, so I’m procrastinating about it.

I, too, voted for Clinton and have been living in shame ever since. Ronald Reagan's FOURTH term, then FIFTH term! I've written to the People's Party regarding gender issues and have heard nothing back. And I just sent a letter to my state senator saying I will vote for no more Democrats as long as they subscribe to a state-sponsored religious cult.

Well, he’s obviously someone with a personality disorder. He said all the right things on the campaign trail, then the opposite once elected. I left before his first hundred days were up! I’d worked in assisted living for seniors and disabled people while I was a teen and young adult and invariably they told me what scoundrels politicians are. Saw it myself firsthand after experiencing Clinton’s rhetoric during the campaign, then a 180 turnaround in his first hundred days in office. We The People have to realize that the most *mentally ill* among us run the country.

I cannot abide Hillary but how can she continue to live with a man who is a serial sexual predator? I know they're a power couple (many people think she is an obvious lesbian of the right-wing variety), but still. I wouldn't want to share a public meal with such a man. Bill Clinton, another Epstein buddy.

Patriarchy wouldn’t work without female acquiescence. Codependent, shallow, domineering people aren’t in any short supply, that’s for sure!

👏👏👏 Bravo Zoe. It's not an easy thing to do, but in this instance absolutely necessary for anyone with a conscience

Well done Zoe for her principled stand @Graham how do I contact you directly please? Re: Jo_Liss on Twitter for the Trans community contacting companies and trying to stop their adverts appearing next to Mail Online pages (with the pretext that they are publishing Transphobic/GC articles) I have received a call today from Autotrader and am due for one later. Autotrader have confirmed it is a genuine response from them.

Good on Zoe for taking this stance. But unless more follow she may be onto buttons. There needs to be a cultural change within the party that I do not think will be forthcoming with the present administration. They need to stop. And restart by going back to why the party was needed in the first place. Until then why would any decent human being sign up to such a party?

Excellent letter. Sorry they are too brainwashed and rigid thinking to listen and learn.

Difficult decision I imagine, huge respect for Zoe sticking to her principles and not bending the knee to the zealots, beggars belief how the green party, who rely on science when it comes to the environment completely and utterly ignore it and happily erode women's rights.

Thank you Zoe, that's an amazing stand to take and must be such a hard thing to do. Unless more folk make a stand in defence of sanity, women and children's future looks bleak. The only way is for people in positions of power, like yourself, to make a lot of noise to educate parents and the general population to this dangerous perversion. Keep fighting for us please. 🙏🏻
