I am still reeling from the shock of being referred to as a 'cis' woman by a younger member of my family in a text earlier today. I was apoplectic, told him that is made up terminology which is offensive to women. I also let him know I am not 'cis' anything, I am a woman full stop. I cannot believe I have to clarify that in this day and age.
