My thanks to TulipR for giving me permission to repost his Twitter thread, which can be found here. I want to tell everyone what they took from us, what irreversible really means, and what that reality looks like for us. No one told me any of what I’m going to tell you now.
I sent this to the doctors doing this to my gay son. He’s over the age of consent but I send them research weekly to make sure they know I am watching them. I don’t know what I would do if he told me he was having surgery. I know what I would like to do to these surgeons. They should be in jail. All of them.
I find it hard to comprehend how the medical community can shepherd people into making these kind of decisions without full disclosure, without appropriate therapy and withoput, it seems, any thought of the Hypocratic oath they took. Whatever happened to "first, do no harm?" Then there are the MPs who are blindly calling for more of this in their virtue signalling chant of "Ban Conversion Therapy". They should talk to detransitioners like TulipR and ask them what affirming care did for them. They should be made to look them in the damn eye and tell them that what happened to them is ok, because it really isn't.
I like to think that there's a reckoning coming but what makes me think that he was given a long consent agreement in micro print just as he was to undergo what he'd been convinced by the gender crew that he really, really "wanted."
I just feel so desperately sad for him and all the other young people that have been sold the lie that changing sex is cut and paste. He is unbelievably brave and selfless to share so much intimate detail and I’m sure it will save others from this damaging practice.
If you showed that story to a gender ideology follower they would say: "So he wasn't really trans." Leaving aside that there is no legal definition of "trans" and its meaning changes daily; even if you do believe in it, wouldn't the normal human reaction be: "Well shouldn't we have much more safeguarding to protect others who are "not really trans?" And wouldn't those who are "really trans" go ahead with it anyway?
But they can't think like that because on some level - like any ideology/cult - they know that if you allow too many questions, the whole thing unravels.
It's a gut-wrenching story. I thank TulipR for sharing it and I hope he finds some peace of mind.
This is very harrowing to read. That poor guy has gone through hell. I’m really pleased he speaking out though. He is so brave beyond words and I hope he can encourage others to do the same in speaking out against medical transition and the dangers involved which are irreversible. I makes me so mad that this affirmative pathway is being pushed in schools and higher education. Wake up so called professionals and medics before you harm anymore children and young people.

By the same token, would these doctors encourage an anorexic person to carry on losing weight? None of this adds up, there seems to be a lot of 'blind eye' turning rather than looking deeper to explore mental health issues in the proper spirit of therapy.

And to think there are those who want to ban talking therapies that might have stopped TulipR from embarking on this distressing treatment. Good luck to you. Remember, don’t get mad get even with those in the medical profession colluding in this ideology.
This is horrific and should be a criminal offence, like FGM (in some countries). But in our fucked-up world the medical community will say he was properly informed of the risks and of the age to give consent. But what's meaningful informed consent when you're being brainwashed by a cult?

Surgeons should have to state that what they are doing is purely cosmetic as functioning genitals cannot be ‘created’.
