I saw a thread of Sneering incels upset that they don’t get an international man’s day. I cannot be bothered to engage with morons however I know they’d love those cartoons. Nothing seems to change. One step forward. Pushed one step back. I am sure this is in part payment for the #metoo movement when women said no for a nanosecond until we were once again pushed back. I am so sick of this shit. I wonder if they know their mums, sisters, aunts, female friends, partners all share a common feature - their sex.

I'm so sick of that "we don't get a men's day" argument. Fucking set one up then! It's not like there's a council sitting on Mount Olympus deciding what goes into the "international" calendar, something is A Day if enough people say it is. If enough of them went on twitter one day and said "It's International Men's Day" then it would be.

There is an International Men's Day on 19 November, apparently. I don't suppose the celebration will be flooded with transmen, though, the way Women's Day invariably features members of the Brave and Stunning community.

I wonder how they’d feel if it was couched in the same ways as international women’s day. All people are men if they say they are. Not all men have a penis. Some men have a vagina. Some men can give birth. I don’t see men being overly accommodating or being remotely inclusive. It’s always easy to fight for thing that have zero impact on the portion of society who automatically get a free pass in society. Yes. I am sick of this shit.

There’s one in autumn every year plus the other 364 days. Men don’t have to move an inch to make way for anyone. Ever. We women are just expected to accommodate, move, facilitate the advancement of men (however they identify) and yes there are men I speak as a heterosexual woman - I’m just super picky and the older I get the more picky I becomes.
