Now I have a soft spot for Harry, and I don't think it's fair to have a dig at him. He's very much "I'm a man who likes dressing up" and fashion like Prince, Bowie, or Bolan, rather than anything gender woo. (Not suggesting he is musically on a par!) Harry's done it for years. He's fun, and not a bad role model because in no way is he having any sort of "I like dresses I must be a girl" crisis. It's the journalists making A Thing out of it.
Women adopting male attire, men adopting female attire is hardly groundbreaking is it? I can't understand why doing this is considered in any way edgy or trangressive.
Re The Guardian: what's tragic is the fact that most people have apparently forgotten that all children go through a phase of loving playing dress-up, and no child has a fixed notion of gender before the age of 7 or so...
It's crazy isn't it? We know a lot about child development, cognitive reasoning, understanding of permanence and so on...we know that kids struggle with abstract concepts, that's why we don't teach complex algebra to 6 year olds. We know cognitive functioning isn't fully developed until around 25. And yet none of that seems to count anymore because for some reason feelings take priority.
BTW any Canadians here - you have until the end of November to object to Bill C-6. I believe Arty Morty made a YT video about it, as did Meghan Murphy yesterday (the aim is to make any "watchful waiting" or treatment aside from HRT & "Gender Affirming" mutilating surgery illegal to suggest to adolescents). Get angry and make some noise about it while you can, is my advice!
I’m not in a position to openly argue with KM on Twitter, but if I could, I’d explain why it’s appalling that they use Polish women’s plight. They clearly know nothing about the circumstances of what happened, the history of newly democratic Poland in the 90s, the role of the former opposition who was freshly in power, who sold out women, or the nefarious influence of the Polish pope.
Love my Asian Sister Karen Davis, She rocked the other video as well. Total energy , frustration and fight for the right rolled in one !!!
Abigail getting cancelled again ? Hmm , but that's not cancel culture and it's not the woke practicing it (again).
For Harry Styles - Dress However You please, Call Yourself whatever You want,
As long as You don't Encroach upon Women's Rights, You can all dress up in bikini and stockings and perhaps throw a pole dance, for all we care.
Guardian is getting Worst than toilet rag by the day. I still don't see how they print all woke articles and Aways hate against JK Rowling and still give Her book a fair review ,a huge mystery to me to be honest.
It has become new normal to pander, lick, please men and give them the Queen's throne instead of Kings. So men getting elected for Women's positions is nothing new, they made it new normal under the lieu of inclusion.
Was that Fart article for Real? This is a serious question
P.S I love the baby grandma pic opener , that is so cute 😍
Excuse my ignorance but who's the guy in the first photo?
Dominic Cummings. Number 10 advisor to Boris who just quit

it's not at him! He actually looks quite unhappy about the situation!
it's the way it's framed. it's so pathetic
I'm glad if it's not but for me at least that's really not clear.
The fuss is indeed pathetic.

*transgressive
I agree, I think it's a shame. Musician / actor dresses a bit differently, hold the front page folks!

What does Peter Tatchell know about children, apart from having been one about 50 years ago?
Seems to spend a fair percentage of his time fantasizing about them, doesn't he?
I could swear I've read and heard that he agitated for lowering or obliterating AOC legislation at some point.

He has indeed. That is what I was somewhat obscurely hinting at with the question. Dodgy boundaries around children
