I have visited my son in Brighton several times, they have a rainbow "zebra" crossing close to his flat, and I had no clue if it was to be treated as a regular crossing. Inevitably I was beeped at while I tried to decide and waited for a pedestrian to cross. Not good safely wise.
Correct. They are also completely wrong in terms of the highways authorities' own legislation. They must ALL be black and white for very specific and important reasons. (For the sight-impaired, as one example) So I cannot understand how councils can get away with this at all. Their righteousness overrides all legislation? Incredible really.
