Vincent Linehan checks out
I know it's not what you signed up for, but you're getting an email about my Dad
My Dad, Vincent Linehan, passed away on Friday night. He was 81 years old.
I don’t want to write a long thing here because nothing would be adequate. I just wanted you all to know that it was from him I got my love of books, of music, cinema, everything that makes life worth living, in fact.
I also learned from him that you always stand up for women when they’re being attacked, and you never let bullies win.
Happy trails, Dad.
Dear Graham, I am deeply sorry for your loss. You credit your father for teaching you to stand up for women, well, please accept my profound gratitude for the sacrifices and abuse you have suffered on our behalf. I was telling someone just a couple of days ago how lovely it feels to experience the stalwart protection of a caring man for the first time in my life. I am 62 years old.
You will be in my thoughts during this painful time. You are a beautiful continuation of your father’s legacy, and I appreciate you both.
Oh Graham I'm so sorry to hear that. He sounds a fabulous man and you are a credit to him and his values. My Dad would never have stood by and let someone be harmed least of all a woman or a child. We have a lot to thank these principled gentlemen for. Condolences to you and your family x
