I could listen to HJ all day! Same with Stephanie Davies-Arai. They've both appeared on quite a few channels and podcasts but each one brings out extra nuggets on their thinking and research. SDA mentioned somewhere that the new highlighting of 'asexuality' by Stonewall could be suspicious given that it may provide a convenient label for those who have been transitioned in childhood with damaged sexual function... mind blowing

Lots of support for James in Mumsnet. There will be some serious gardening, as MNers have to call it. (MN doesn't permit links to crowdfunders etc so they talk obliquely, yet totally transparently, about funding good causes).

Will definitely be there. I hadn't realised James had been treated so shockingly.

Cancelled by Childline: Ex-barrister lost his job as a volunteer counsellor with the charity after raising fears over the way children confused about their gender are rushed into changing sex

James Esses was concerned children were automatically labelled transgender

29-year-old shared his concerns on social media which cost him his degree

10 days later Childline told him he could no longer be a volunteer counsellor

Before I forget, I want to comment on Joyce's description of U.S. racial guilt. I agree with black (and some white) commentators that much of 2020's racial justice activism was just white people waving their wokeness in public. I am 67 and have met very few people here who have any idea of this country's nauseating history of genocide and slavery (which we replicate every day in our unceasing wars, treating the civilians of the countries we invade as we treated indigenous and enslaved people). As Joyce said, they don't want to deal with it. I've heard a number of black people say it's easier to deal with white racists than white liberals because at least you know where they stand. Anyone who confuses the racism that underlies everything in the U.S. with gender criticism needs to look around in their skulls for at least a couple of functioning brain cells.
