Transwomen in prison: fact and fantasy

I spoke to Kate Coleman about the recent disappointing result in the judicial review brought by a woman who was attacked by a male while in prison.

Then there was this tweet from WOLF.

Meanwhile, Hollyoaks did that trick of creating a fictional situation which is the exact opposite of the current situation, in much the same way the Australian drama ‘First Day’ did last year.

The writer, Jon Larkin, described those women objecting as ‘terfs’, which is par for the course for misogynistic men who couldn’t care less about the fate of some of the most vulnerable women in our society. Also par for the course was what happened when you ran a search for a certain word on his timeline.

It happens so much, it’s beyond a joke. Scratch a misogynist, find an actual transphobe.
