Honestly, if they didn't have to put the TWAW, etc bit at the end, I think it would have been great to have most people sign both letters. Unfortuatnely, this letter, like so many others, forces people to conflate loving and supporting trans people with a scientifically false ideology.
Disappointed to see 2 colleagues of mine and my old literary Agent on this list. Like most decent people I would have happily signed a letter declaring that I support Trans people and their human rights (like everyone’s rights) - but the undertone here saying that the original Times letter was against Trans and not against violent online misogyny against JKR especially is galling. Also, Guardian Books don’t seem to have read Troubled Blood which is worrying.
Well , tell You what, they have got heated up because:
1. Book ended up being sold twice, thanks to them.
2. People got all of her Previous in Strike series too
3. They couldn't Silence Her, She threw that T - Shirt photo ( I doubt that's Her, maybe one of Her girls), but they hate it, because She overpowers them all, and She typically challenged of not being cancelled, so that's that.
4. The blue ticks are just jealous of Her fame and support She gets, but the pig heads don't get it, that She earns the love and trust and kinship by "actually" being Kind Human.
5. The TRAs are always bollocks and angry and violent.
6. Woman against Woman is not new, being one, I can honestly say that the competitive edge is too raw, real and high. Though we have to learn to curb and master it , to exist amiably , but A Man Woman relation is stronger than Woman Woman , for the very same reasons.
7. Woman who cancel other Woman are Hateful Panderers, who worship Woke men for Money / other benefits. They are nuisances of society.
Thank You for the Wonderful article and support Glinner 💛
There are even more. They're now accepting additional signatures and UK writers are falling over themselves to get on there. So disheartening. Most of them are either bad writers or pretty much unknown, but there are a few actual talents.

I feel like I’m in another universe.
Pathetic. Like the stroppy kid stomping off with the football because the game isn't going his way.

To be fair, they've also just published this, which is excellent:https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/sep/30/feminists-anti-trans-idea-sex-gender-oppression
A list of people I know to avoid. Quite handy, really.
Agreed I am
Puzzled what does Susie Orbach
She is a very sensible and eloquent psychotherapist who writes about the body

Graham, do we have a stalker on this substack who is dropping "To be fair" messages, not this platform too, puh-leaseeee🙄
The above is a good article by a GC journalist Susanna Rustin
However I agree nothing is actually fair in the way TRA campaign or rather steam roller
