Reddit is a cesspit. I asked my 17 year old if people he knew used it and he laughed and said “no”. Hopefully it’ll go the way of Friends Reunited.

This is a link to a Kiwi Farms thread on him. If you scroll down there's a video by a whistleblower talking about the behaviour of Bardfinn and other Reddit mods.

He's been doxxed, and if it's true, he lives with four other family members. Has a kid, and at least one ex-wife, probably dodging child support. Has bragged about posting child porn but describes it as "non-sexual" "Tanner Stage 1". A truly vile individual, emblematic of the sickness at the heart of Reddit's woman-hatred. It's just 24 hour online creeps like this that run the majority of the place.

The most disturbing information in the article about that lawsuit, which is terrible enough in itself, is about the proportion of CONSUMERS of porn who are children

- 22% under the age of 10

- over 33% aged 10-14

OVER 50% OF PORN CONSUMERS ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 14!!😱

"The lawsuit claims the US received 18.4 million reports of child sex abuse in 2018, with the lion’s share to be found on the internet. Some 37% of child sexual abuse content online is hosted in North America, and a disturbing 22% of child porn consumers are themselves under the age of 10. Children aged from 10 to 14 constitute over a third of child porn consumers. On Reddit, the problem is exacerbated by the ease of skirting the platform’s age-check mechanism."

He also claims to have some "database" of "nazi sympothesisers" and uses some software called mass tagger (which itself is of dubious legality under GDPR laws as it skims everyone on reddit and automatically flags them if they post on a wrongthink subreddit) . Basically if you post somewhere that he doesn't like, even if you have had NO interaction with this guy he will try and get you shut down.

Since I am active on /r/detrans I have been targeted him on a subreddit for posting cute animal pictures (seriously) .

so what does it take to convince people that reddit is child rape central, haven for sexual predators, in fact should be called "Preddit" and those who use it "predditors". For the love of all that is HOLY GET. OFF. OF. REDDIT.

Why are all such perverts not in prison? When did we switch from protection to hedonism, from loathing such people to setting them up as heroes? Why do so many now have no barriers, no shame, and are allowed to get away with horrendous behaviour, having no accountability forced on them? This is progress, is it? The internet, which has the power to do such good, also has the power to do such evil. WHY 'the evil' is allowed, I've no idea, other than the humans in charge must be evil too. I need new swear words...........

Reddit is owned by Conde' Nast, but before they bought it, I believe it was a reaction site to organise what 4chan appeared unable to organise, sensible ideas. It's most famous director and co-creator was Aaron Schwartz who committed suicide because of the pressures the US government put him under. These days it has merely become a hotbed of conformity and a mental straight-jacket like The Guardian, The Daily Mail, and the Huffington Post. No dissent is allowed, the filter bots are always right and finding ways around the filter bots gets you banned. It's the reason I keep saying, distributed and decentralised social media is best. decentralised and distributed search engines are the best. Look into peer-peer distributed and decentralised social media. It's not like the old ways of google and all the media mogul sites - Peer-peer is an old technology that has become more secure than it used to be. Just research at your own pace. Either use others servers or create your own under your management. It's easy, its free, it's free speech if you want it to be and censored if you want it to be. Just ignore twitter, facebook, reddit and all the rest. start with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diaspora_%28social_network%29

check out this page. https://bitshills.com/best-decentralized-social-media-networks/

The future is not a rebellion against common sense but a rebellion of common sense over corporate censorship
