There were jubilant scenes outside Cardiff High Court on Wednesday after parents exposed the dangerous reality of the Welsh government’s new compulsory RSE curriculum to the court, putting all their evidence on public record. The case was live tweeted by Tribunal Tweets.
For two years, parents linked to Public Child Protection Wales (PCPW) have been smeared by the mainstream press, successive Education Ministers and Children’s Commissioners, and organisations like Humanists UK, who have accused them of a campaign of “misinformation” and promoting “paedophile conspiracy theories”.
However, their evidence was accepted by the court, vindicating PCPW and revealing that the curriculum isn’t just “homegrown”, but the product of a global rollout of “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” by UNESCO. This is something the Welsh government has vehemently denied. By exposing the predatory reality of this new approach to children’s education in a British court, these Welsh parents have done a service to the world.
The case was also about defending parents’ rights to safeguard their children from indoctrination in gender ideology in schools. It should therefore be close to the hearts of gender critical people across the world.
Just like Posie Parker, this band of warrior mums and dads have also been accused of siding with far right extremists and religious zealots. The parents behind PCPW want to protect children from abuse. They say anyone can support the cause, from any background, political allegiance, religion or no religion, and their public demonstrations prove that. Their campaign for child protection simply cuts across political, racial and religious divides. Such inclusivity is a rare sight in a postmodern world rife with political virtue signalling.
Barrister Paul Diamond represented the parents on principle, after no solicitor in the country dared take on the case. Their achievements are the result of an incredible grassroots effort, uniting people from all backgrounds, races and religions, as well as atheists, in a campaign to protect children from child abuse.
PCPW’s sole and unflinching focus is the well-being of children. They’re standing up to the government, UNESCO, the Children’s Commissioner, and anyone else getting in the way of safeguarding children, and it’s time the wider public considered backing them for the sake of all children. The arguments and evidence in court made it clear - PCPW don’t oppose teaching high quality pluralistic RSE, nor educating children about diversity. They oppose an ideological curriculum driven by anti-safeguarding rhetoric.
The Welsh governments’ belief that children are now to be considered sexual from birth was exposed in court. Barrister Paul Diamond also presented evidence that the curriculum was biased towards “LGBTQ+” ideologies, sidelines protected characteristics, and erases parental rights. The defence argued if parents didn’t like it they should just send their children to private school or home educate them. This is impossible for working class parents. So much for intersectionality.
Media coverage of the case has been almost non-existent. The few reports that have been released by the likes of the BBC and Wales Online have shown bias towards the Welsh government’s position, and shied away from reporting the facts of the case. One of the claimants from PCPW, Kim Isherwood, posted a video on her Facebook page after the judicial review, explaining that a BBC journalist was outside Cardiff High Court but refused to speak to them. When they approached the BBC for interview, it’s alleged the reporter called the police, who arrived on horseback.
The judgement of the judicial review against the Welsh government is expected in 6 weeks. If parents win, they expect the Welsh government to appeal. If parents lose, they will appeal. Either way PCPW are not backing down. Their commitment to protecting children is unrelenting and inspiring ever growing numbers.
Yesterday, the parents behind PCPW didn’t just expose the Welsh government’s corrupt curriculum, they evidenced that it is part of a global rollout of comprehensive sexuality education built on the most perverse academic fantasies about children, which sexualise them from birth. Organisations like the Humanists UK have ignored the ideological takeover of children’s education by Queer Theorists in favour of attacking parents. When the truth becomes public knowledge, it should monumentally shame all those who opposed the case.
Around 300 PCPW supporters congregated outside the court for peaceful protest over the course of the two day hearing. The demographic diversity of the protestors was undeniable. The children of Wales are bringing the country together in an unprecedented way, and PCPW are leading the charge. However, the case against the Welsh government remains grossly underfunded. All of these ideologues are war criminals in this war on women, lgb people, and children - when reality wins there must be consequences.
You know there’s been a complete ideological capture when the Children’s Commissioner throws safeguarding under the‘gender’ bus. Thank you to all for the pushback against the top down madness.
