I've read stuff about Chris over the last couple of years, and I have come to the (inexpert) opinion that autism overlays a personality, it does not create a whole personality. Chris has always been selfish and pushed his sexual desires on women who clearly say they don't want it. He drew a picture of himself raping a female friend back in his early 20s. He has written about being turned on by using the women's toilets. He has also hired a prostitute.
None of that is typical of autism. It is 100 per cent male entitlement and narcissism. Taken on its own, any of that could be from a man without autism. Can you imagine an autistic woman doing any of this?
Autism is a smaller part of this picture than many think it is. It definitely made him more vulnerable to trolls, but ultimately this is the same old tale of a man who feels so entitled to women's bodies that he does something hideous, because he doesn't see women as people.
I am so glad you covered this. You are absolutely right, those who encouraged him should be charged as well, they are disgusting human beings, too. He is responsible for his actions, but they need to be responsible for theirs, as well - as do the online outlets that allowed this criminal behavior to be openly cheered on
Have you seen the comments online from trolls/gender ideologists or whoever they are blaming lesbians for him raping his mother? Seems if the poor man, who thinks he's a woman of course, had been able to have sex with 'other lesbians' then this would never have happened. All because lesbians don't do dick. Chris Chan has been extensively documented for years. There is nothing to be done. There is no-one to call. If there was, concerned people would have done it a decade ago or more. In 2018 he was deliberately manipulated by internet trolls who convinced him that they could destroy the fantasy town of which he is the mayor. The owner of Kiwi Farms intervened to help him on that occasion, but he is not mentally incompetent, and cannot be sectioned or restrained. He also has a history of violent assault. The recent trolls that you describe approving of his actions were 20 year old college students who decided to mess with him for internet fame- dozens have done the same over the years.
Incidentally, Kiwi Farms exists to document internet personalities and they highly discourage contacting any of them. I would not toss them on the same pile as random 'internet trolls' considering they preserve the receipts of the misdeeds of many, many, trans individuals which are regularly scrubbed from the rest of the internet by idealogues.

He was behaving in sexually inappropriate ways long before the trolls. Apparently he was assessed as needing special education which may have helped him develop boundaries but his parents refused....which I understand to some extent. He is also highly racist and homophobic. He had enough cognitive ability to go through mainstream education and drive. Fred West had an IQ of 84 that did not make him any less culpable or dangerous. What they did was disgusting but it unlikely it was the root cause.

I spend so much time on philosophical questions nowadays through social media, it was surrogacy the day before, yesterday was prisons, today is autism and crime.
Was it the case that the village idiot was more catered for in the days when there was some manual work to fill up their time, everyone knew who they were, and taught their kids to be wary and sympathetic to them as humans?
I appreciate your talking about how we treat people in the richest country on earth. This man should not be in prison unless you think him being raped is a good idea; he needs to be in a sheltered, lockdown environment with strict rules and expectations.

It is sad though that children (and others) with mental confusions or hormonal anguish are also being taken advantage of in a similar way, but by groups and figures pertaining to be responsible.
